It’s one thing to ask a sitter to watch your home and care for your pets knowing they can just text or call you if they have questions or run into an emergency. It’s another to ask a sitter to do that when you are out of contact 90% of the time! Amanda was the perfect zeewoi to put my mind at ease knowing that both my husband and I would be unreachable most of our time away. She is self-sufficient, intelligent, organized, astute and observant, and after our initial phone chat and intro when she arrived, I felt 100% confident she could handle any situation that might arise. Amanda took great care of our 3 cats and was also fantastic with the 3 foster kittens we are currently caring for in my office. While I had asked her up front if she felt comfortable with the additional care responsibilities, I still felt bad adding more to her plate as the kittens do require more time/attention than our 3 adult cats. Fortunately, she was willing to take on the task and I’m so appreciative of that. She was communicative leading up to the stay, asked thoughtful questions regarding the home, cats, plants, etc, and sent cat and kitten updates even though we were off the grid much of the time. She left the house and my car immaculate. I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda for house-sitting & pet-sitting opportunities. She is a perfect house-guest and a delightful human! We would love to host her again in the future, whether she is sitting or not!

Aloha, I had a pleasure to spend two amazing weeks in beautiful Supna's & Parag's house in Florida. It was a wonderful Christmas for me in a comfortable and quiet place in the company of Saheli, the sweetest dog ever. Saheli is very well behaving, and, I would say - therapeutic doggie, who will follow you everywhere. She just loves people! She is nice but stubborn - she will go for a walk only in the direction she wants to go, which is fine with me. I loved her determination! She knew her neighborhood very well, and neighbors knew her, as she was very friendly toward people and other dogs as well.
Also, my hosts are vegetarians, which was an extra bonus for me as I am a vegetarian almost all my life. I loved this sit. It felt like home. Thank you, Supna, for choosing me for this petsitting.

Tracy
Looking after the “3 old furry boys” was a complete pleasure! They were total sweethearts with very different personalities. Nancy (a boy) liked to have you in his sight, taking any opportunity to pin you down for company if you sat or laid down. Nippa, very homely, mostly liked to sit next to you. Watching you. Tink was more independent and liked to wander around the garden. Checking us and his mates out regularly! Overall all 3 of them mostly just hung around the house & garden, quietly sleeping, sitting next to or on you, or, just following us around. They mostly stayed at floor level or on a chair. They didn’t demand anything really. Just grateful for their food, a stroke and a chat. They were very polite, allowing you a full night sleep, then, giving you a little tap on the bedroom door to remind you that it was their breakfast time! All 3 appreciated their food - but were not fussy. Nippa enjoyed his morning medication immensely as it was mixed into his favourite treat! All 3 are very tame and obviously are very loved and use to human company and each other. There is occasional use of the litter tray, but they normally used the facility of their garden via their cat flap. Very low maintenance cats!

Tracy and Stephen were open, friendly and very generous with their time, home and offerings. They communicated before, during and after our stay. Their thoughtfulness about everything to help us feel at home was beyond expectation. We were particularly moved with Tracy’s sweet reassurance and practical information in letting us know what we should do if anything happened to their much loved old Nippa. Luckily he was very well throughout our stay!

This home sit was well located in an authentic residential street in the heart of Derby city. The immediate vicinity is full of diversity with shops of all description. Within a short walk we visited museums, art exhibitions, had walks along the river/park and visited a huge shopping mall! Within a drive we visited the beautiful countryside which is steeped in history.

The house itself had everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the interesting objects and pieces around. The little garden to sit in. The spacious bedroom…. And the “2 front doors” with the corridor lobby in between them, which gave us confidence that the cats were very safe from escaping out onto the road - not that they bothered to try!

We recommend this sit and would return given the opportunity.
