A rocky start but everything turned out well.
I truly enjoyed my sit for Victoria and Scott who gave me a warm welcome and made me feel at home right away. Victoria made taking care of the three kitty cats simple and easy with her walkthrough of what was needed to care for them. Bear is a real lover boy and stuck with me from the beginning. Baby Girl kept came out after the second day to keep an eye on me but preferred to be left alone. Princess stayed out the whole time but preferred not to be played with so I found we had a connection with each other because I protected her space. I am looking forward to sitting for them again and reconnecting with my new fur friends!!!
Thank you Poppy, Mimi (and Emily) for a wonderful stay! I had a great time this week hanging out with the delightful Poppy and the adventurous Mimi! Poppy realaxed around me after only several minutes and was then the best little companion to keep me company and look after me :-) Poppy is a great lap dog so we enjoyed an abundance of cuddles and relaxed fun, Mimi is a great character and it was fun to watch her coming and going and seeing the two interact with each other. The house is beautiful and my bedroom felt like a hotel - my stay here was very relaxed and appreciated, Poppy & Mimi's house is in a great location and I was able to go to the local Yoga every day which I LOVED. Thank you all for a great visit and for the kindness and generosity shown! X
Sitting Blue was a wonderful experience, he is a really calm dog, super friendly, and of the sweetest dogs to sit. Tami is an amazing parent, she gave us really good directions to take care of Blue and her home is super comfortable and calm. The are plenty outdoor stuff to do around. She was always responsive and we couldn’t be happier to have take care of her home and Blue. Btw the diabetes shots are super simple, he doesn’t feel it at all.
Sarah made me very welcome and was very easy to communicate with. It was such a joy to be in her beautiful comfortable home with her lovely cats; Archie, an affectionate and vociferous old trooper who manages so well with only three legs - such an inspiration and great company, and wide eyed Lola with her huge curiosity, we had great fun with the laser pen chasing Tinkerbell... she was a bit shy at first but once she was used to me, was very friendly. It was a lovely five days with mostly fine weather. One evening I had a nice stroll along Avon beach, but most of the time I was quite content in the garden or the house, which despite being in a village, was very quiet. There is so much natural light I loved being there and got a lot of reading and work done. The New Forest is a beautiful place and I would go walking if I had more time there.

We had the best time in Asheville. Mi’s house is comfortable and beautiful. Her dog Turkey is wonderful. He’s affectionate but pretty self sufficient. We had everything we needed to be comfortable at Mi’s house and we would come back and house sit here again any time.
