Dear Marlene and Petra,
we had a fabulous time in your beautiful light-filled home, and of course with dainty Siena and handsome Peppino. They are such sweet and relaxed companions, but fierce when attacking and demolishing their cardboard box prey, honoring their Bengal tiger ancestry.
Siena would curl up on my bed at night, as tiny as she is - an unmovable lump.
Or she would come bouncing down the long hallway with a victorious cry and proudly present me with a mouse (luckily a stuffed toy mouse), and I would praise her for being such a smart hunter.
Peppino would watch from his pillowed perch in the kitchen, his favorite place, ever ready for a juicy tuna feast.
How could we not fall in love with them? We will surely miss them.
Thank you again, Marlene and Petra. We wish you all the best and hope to meet again.

Five stars all around! Joni and Dennis were welcoming and hospitable. Their home is clean, beautiful, peaceful and most relaxing. Sitting on the deck amongst the trees you feel quite remote, but anything you need is about a ten-minute drive away. We spent most of the sit just relaxing at home with Conor. They also have a fabulous kitchen for those who like to cook (like us). It's so well equipped you might have to look around to find everything. But everything is there. You've probably never seen more perfectly seasoned cast iron skillets.

Conor is the star of the sit. He's a polite gentleman living in a dog's body. He's amazingly well behaved and a perfect host. Even at 8 years old, he has an adorable "puppy face". We absolutely fell in love with him. He's not at all needy but will take all the hugs and pets you can offer. He's a giant cuddly teddy bear and just wants to be near you.

Conor likes short off-leash walks on a street just up the hill behind the property and is great at recall, although he doesn't stray far from you to begin with. He also loves to dance with you in the yard. ;). He's very quiet inside, and only barks outside when he "sees" something. Often something that isn't visible to the human eye.

The chickens were easy. They have I'd guess nearly a quarter acre just to themselves to roam during the day and cluck-about happily. They were very productive when we were there.

We miss Conor already and certainly hope to return for a future sit!

Sarah
I had a lovely week with Fernando (Ferdie)! He is very easy to care for, super cute and the cuddliest little guy. Ferdie spends a lot of his time outside but will always come back regularly throughout the day. You’ll know he’s back home because each time he’ll come find you to let you know and will meow/chat to you until you acknowledge his presence with some pats 😂 it’s honestly the cutest.

Sarah is lovely and easy to communicate with. She was responsive and friendly before, during and following the sit. Her instructions were clear and simple, so everything was very straightforward.

The flat is gorgeous, light and bright with a lovely back garden. It is super clean, tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable sit. It’s on a quiet residential street with loads of amazing cafes, pubs, a big Sainsburys and wonderful independent shops in the surrounding area. Gipsey Hill train station is moments away (less than 5 mins) which conveniently takes you to London Bridge in about 20 mins.

Overall this was a wonderful sit :)

Magdalena is a great host! She communicated very clearly and had a thorough welcome guide. Her dogs are very friendly, are great walking buddies, and are super chill. The house is very nice and in a safe neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this sit!

I had a wonderful experience housesitting for Kathleen and her sweet cat. The cat was incredibly adorable and loving, making my stay even more enjoyable. The house itself was incredibly comfortable and had everything one could need, located perfectly in Boulder. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to housesit again. Thank you.

Banksy is such a gentle teddy bear. He’s well-behaved and friendly. I really enjoyed his company and I hope he enjoyed mine. Jennifer was so wonderful and very approachable. Her and her husband are such a beautiful couple. The neighborhood is very safe and the neighbors are friendly as well. There’s a grocery store just walking distance which was nice. I only had a pleasant experience.
