Robert and his wife Rhonda are a lovely couple who I felt very comfortable entrusting the care of my home and kitties to. I was fortunate to be able to meet them in person prior to the start of their sit and they clearly are experienced cat people (they have two cats of their own) which I could tell by the questions they asked. I returned home to a neat and tidy house and happy cats. I would be happy to have them sit for me again and highly recommend them to others looking for a reliable, responsible couple who will provide good care for your pets.
Hannah and her two fur boys provided a wonderful home for almost a week. The first 24 hours were a bit stressful because Tiny Timmy ( kitten) decided to stay in hiding for longer than we expected. As it was his first experience with a sitter, I could hardly blame him. He made up for this though by gradually becoming bolder and more affectionate by the day. Hannah’s home is also in a great neighborhood and is well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I spent many evening s reading on the rooftop and was pleasantly surprised by the independence of both cats after we settled into a routine. I would highly recommend this listing and I look forward to returning again soon.
Loved it so much staying with the cats! But it would be very nice, if one can meet you, too, just for 5 minutes to talk about, especially if he or she comes from another country and is not very used to all the foreign technical things. Loved this assignment for so many reasons! First would be our daily walks on the beach just minutes away where dog lovers abound, giving us lots of fond memories with two of the sweetest dogs we have ever had the pleasure to care for! Sightseeing in beautiful, historic downtown Charleston during the holidays was amazing, while taking in the rich culture and landmarks marking American’s struggles during the Revolutionary War and the War Between The States. Cindy is certainly one of the most welcoming pet owners we have ever sat for, providing beautiful accommodations with warm and caring hospitality, making us feel right at home from start to finish! We truly enjoyed her zest for travel adventures and felt our experience was equally as wonderful in the company of her beloved Brody and Jazzy deserving of a 5 Star recommendation!
Rachel and her family were so lovely, we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. Rachel’s instructions were clear and thorough, so we knew how to look after the dogs. Charlie and Cricket were so sweet and loving, Cricket wanted endless cuddles! She even slept at the bottom of the bed each night. The house is in a nice and peaceful area, with a lovely garden and a wood burner that made for a cosy atmosphere in the evenings.
I had a wonderful time in Pozuelo in Anna's lovely home. The place is big, clean, and well-connected to downtown Madrid. Chonk is a sweetheart - he loves to lounge and eat. He's so easy to care for, especially since our personalities match so much. He can be very cuddly, especially in the evenings when he uses you as his bed and scratcher. The fishies are easy to take care of, too. Lovely experience!
Nancy is a great person to sit for! While we didn't get to meet her in person (only on a Zoom call as we were traveling from out of the country) she gave us a virtual tour of her home and an intro to her fur babies, and was kind to leave extra instructions around the house. Oscar is a very chill cat who loves regular rubs but enjoys doing his own thing, too. Zoe was a lot shyer and liked to hide, so it was important to check on her but try to give her space to move freely. The location is great and within walking distance of Trader Joe's and lots of fun restaurants. Highly recommend sitting for Nancy and her duo if given the chance!

Lewis is an absolute wonder. We have used lewis for nearly 2 years now and he has worked absolute magic with our nervous pup. He's able to provide tips and advice for situations outside of his walks as well! Couldn't recommend enough! I think our dog loves Lewis and Molly than he loves us! Very lucky to have found him!
We're so glad we found Lewis and Dogs Galore! Although we live close to home, we didn't want our little bean to have to be stuck in for too long so we looked into dog walkers. Lewis has been walking him for nearly three years now and has helped him become more confident around others dogs. Our beanie gets a walk every day Monday - Friday for at least half an hour (most of the time for longer) and has experienced a mixture of group and individual walks. Lewis understands our dog's needs and makes sure he participates in group walks with dogs he is comfortable with. Separately Lewis has given helpful dog behaviour advice to support with guarding and being protective when having visitors over. Our little bean is so picky, we wouldn't trust someone else with him.
Love Lewis, use him for works for my dog twice a week and he's been great. my dog is a bit nervous but Lewis has done lots of extra training that he handles my dog better than I do! Would highly recommend
