As usual, Lindsay and Shayne did a fantastic job taking care of our home and fur babies while we were away. Always nice to come back to happy cats and pup and a clean home. Susan and Robert were very welcoming to us - they even made dinner for us the night we arrived. And we enjoyed our time in Berkhamsted with Isla very much – she’s adorable! Their home is very nice and comfortable to be in. There was some strangeness the morning we left, however. Susan and Robert returned home very late (1am), so had asked us to stay the night in case something delayed their return. As we needed some items in the morning (as well as perishables), we still had a bit of packing to do before leaving around 10am. This seemed to cause some stress for Susan as she was settling back in after having been away. But, once we were finished moving everything to our car we all had a nice chat about their trip, and about our future plans to explore more of the UK. Overall it was a lovely time.
It was such a pleasure to sit for Brenda, John and Loki for about 3 weeks in the Summer. The communication was always fast, clear, and concise. Brenda and John have a beautiful home in a wooded area that offers lots of bird watching and hiking on the island. The master bed was comfortable, their home was well stocked, and the garden and cherry tree were a treat to harvest. Loki is a well behaved, mellow, and adorable dog who was a joy. He loved his walks through the close by park and neighborhood. We would highly recommend this sit and will look forward to returning in the future.
This was the most amazing pet sit. Great communication with Jessica who is so welcoming and friendly and loving pets, Frida, Pinch and Sparkie who are all well behaved. The house and location is fabulous, walking distance to a picturesque lively village and close to the Verdon national park. Thank you so much Jessica for choosing us to sit and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
I had an amazing experience sitting for Sue’s wonderful group of dogs and cats. The house is located right by the beach, so I would walk Harry and Rosie everyday to the beach, where we’d hang out for hours. They loved the water! Cassie, Katie, and Emmy are so sweet too! Cassie and Katie love to hang out with the dogs and I which I loved. Sue and Alan were so sweet and showed me how to get around town and where the dogs like to be brought to. I would 100% recommend this sit!
I thoroughly enjoyed looking after Leia, Korra and Ino for Sam, their proud owner. I love Guinea pigs and these three were particularly sweet, still very young, full of energy and inquisitive. I loved to watch the three of them avidly nibbling grass in their run and chasing each other around. Ino would jump for what I assume is guinea pig joy. The house was very comfortable, spacious and modern. I had a large room with a brand new shower attached. I spent much of my time in the well equipped kitchen and living area, with the bifold doors open or lounging out in the garden on the comfy furniture. The house is in a quiet cul de sac very near the high street, with a Tesco and bars and restaurants. Sainsbury’s is just a short walk away. Midhurst is an attractive historic town, in the middle of a National Park, with lots of interesting shops, well connected by buses, which is good for me as I don’t have a car. Beth, Sam’s mum, was an excellent host, friendly and relaxed. I would happily return to look after the guineas again.
We really enjoyed pet sitting for Dennis. The experience was smooth and enjoyable, with clear expectations laid out from the start. Dennis was very friendly and welcoming, and his dogs were wonderful companions. Both dogs are well-trained and sweet. Mo is intelligent, obedient, and excellent off-leash. Diesel is a charming, funny guy who loves to follow you around the house, providing a true sense of companionship and security. The house is situated in a beautiful countryside setting, close to the attractions of the Finger Lakes. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
