It was a fantastic sit in a lovely part of Northumberland. We were spoilt by the beautiful beaches, quirky villages and field/forest/ river walks. Jan and Steve were very welcoming, easygoing and good communicators. They have a beautiful house and designed garden that we enjoyed a lot! Jaz, Willow and Delilah were very well behaved, friendly with lovely natures. Delilah is very old and spent most of her day sleeping while Jaz and Willow loved their walks and were very chilled afterwards. Willow’s spirit really lifts up when she knows she’s going for a walk. Jaz is a wonderful companion who never leaves your side but can wake you sometimes in the middle of the night wanting god knows what. You’ll have to keep her on a short leash when there are rabbits or other wildlife around as she’s a hunting dog. Both dogs enjoyed travelling by car and we took them everywhere with us. This is an easy sit but be aware - the animals will steal your heart! We recommend it to everyone and will be happy to come back! Truly, this is one of my favorite sits I've had the pleasure of accepting. Bailey and Grits are such great companions, and *no* trouble at all. They're a complete joy to spend time with. This house and property are absolutely gorgeous, and the location cannot be beat - in one of the best historic neighborhoods in Atlanta. So many things to do, in the immediate vicinity - but you won't want to leave the house it's so spectacular! I will keep returning, again and again! Every chance I get!
Sitting for Anita & Kent was a wonderful experience! They were easy to communicate with, very friendly, thoughtful, and extremely generous. We felt at ease immediately after meeting them. They gave us thorough instructions and made it clear that we could call them anytime during the sit with any questions we had. Scout & Daisy were so lovable and so much fun! Scout was our instant best friend. She was always happy to see us and stuck by our side the entire week. She is well trained and easy to care for. Daisy warmed right up to us and was such a sweetie. She loved “talking,” being petted, and even climbed into my lap a few times. We couldn’t ask for better pets! Anita & Kent’s home was amazing! Spacious, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. In a gorgeous neighborhood, and just down a short path from the beach! And their yard is like a paradise! Sitting for them was such a pleasure! We hope to get invited back again. This sit was a 10/10 for sure!
Can’t recommend this sit enough!! Max & Gracie were the sweetest, easiest cats, so friendly and fun to both pet and play with! Don & Joyce were amazing hosts, so communicative, kind and flexible, and their home in St. George was a DREAM - the perfect place to rest & recoup between all the nearby adventures and national parks! So grateful for the time spent here, and hope to return again!!
Biggy he is a really fun and sweet little buddy. Very calm and well-behaved, great with people and a curious and determined explorer on walks. Kat and Chris are also fantastic. Communication and instruction were always clear, and the house itself if a little germ in a beautiful London Location. Would definitely recommend or repeat myself!
Absolutely fantastic sit! Beautiful fur babies, who love their playtime and walks, a pleasure to look after. Extremely comfortable home in a great neighborhood. Sarah and Jon welcomed us into their home with big smiles and kindness, their generosity fell easily into the awesome category! Two pubs within easy walking distance serving good food and a friendly atmosphere. If you love Naval History, a 25 minute walk to the Gosport/Portsmouth ferry will get you all the history you want, we purchased a 5 day ferry ticket (cheaper) and stepped up and bought the year long entry ticket for all the Naval attractions, well worth it! The boys were great being left a few hours on their own. Diego and Milo are totally adorable, they love to hang out and play, they melt your heart! Very highly recommended sit, we are based in the USA, if we are invited back and we can sort the details out, we would jump at the chance to look after the boys!
