VERY Dissapointed! Lori Tripple booked my sit with 2 others, leaving Jose alone at my home and another home in San Diego while she was at a sit in AZ. I found this out by looking at her reviews. I informed TH and they told me there is a bug on the website which allows sitters to book sits with overlapping dates. Lori lied to TH saying I had approved Joe to be there alone. I had interviewed Lori not Joe, I had chosen her for my sit. I never imagined she would arrive late and leave early. Security cameras on the porch by the kitchen captured alarming audio of her true disposition, yelling and screaming when she finally arrived onsite. My neighbors were horrified! I was afraid for my poor little kitty, Winnie. This was very different from the staged videos and pictures of her with Winnie that she sent me while she was pretending to be at my home. Carport security camera showed she finally arrived 8-31, the date when the other San Diego Sit ended! I also saw an unauthorized woman going into and out of my home?? Make sure you get IN WRITING that you require her to be onsite during your Sit. Make sure you get IN WRITING the name of anyone else who will be allowed into your home. BEWARE!
I had a great time at this sit! Anna and Josh were friendly, great communicators, and have a beautiful home. Shiloh (the cat) is one of the most beautiful cats I’ve seen. He’s super fun too! He plays fetch and I loved his soft cuddles. He was one of my favorite cats that I’ve had the pleasure to watch. Thistle (the hedgehog) is super cute, but she was shy and didn’t want to come out of tunnel much. Taking care of her was no problem. Anna has everything organized and provides clear directions for taking care of the animals. The condo is modern, clean, and comfortable. My cousin and I stayed over Christmas and I was able to cook a great Christmas dinner because their kitchen is well stocked with kitchen accessories. This is a great location with some shops and restaurants on the corner. The metro station is a quick few-minute walk away. It only takes 3 stops to get to the North End. Overall, we had a really great time at this sit and I highly recommend.
I struggled with this review. On one hand Bob and Marilyn are lovely people with a lovely house and view. Sailor super sweet dog! However Sailor is very overweight and they free feed him ( which IMO is the reason he is obese) I was instructed to have four different bowls of food full at all times. My. Conscience would not let me do that and I fed him twice a day and let the owners now of my disapproval. The other issue is they have P pads for him upstairs and downstairs so he can P whenever he wants. I also do not approve of this practice. Now, in addition to him being able to P whenever he wants because he’s so overweight he can’t properly lift his leg or hold it up for any length of time so he ends up peeing on himself and all over the floor. I had to wipe up P daily off the floor, I noticed his legs and belly were yellow. Which I IMO was caused by a combination of his weight(as described above) and the fact that he could pee whenever so the more times he Peed and more times he Peed on himself. I did express my disapproval of his practice to them as well. Lastly, the odor in my room was very strong and chemical, and was because the cleaning service had to clean the carpet because sailor was peeing in there as well Ugh Some people may be OK with any and all of this, but I am not If what I described above, doesn’t bother you then this is a great fit for you
