An extremely disappointing cat sit. We started off with poor communication with Renale not telling us she had arrived at the house, she then told us she couldn’t find Cleo and then didn’t contact us for 24 hours, not replying to our messages. On the penultimate day she told us her friend had an emergency so she had to leave, the keys were left in a location I wasn’t happy with overnight so my dad went round to collect them. When we arrived back we found that her friend had left the front door unlocked, the back door was unlocked with the key in it and an upstairs window was open. The sofa bed was opened up and her friend had clearly been staying with her, pillows taken out of cupboards and additional towels left damp and smelly in the dryer. Overall an extremely disappointing situation with someone that had no respect for the fact this was our house which she left unlocked and left a stranger in our home.
