Phoebe and River are a lovely young couple and were great with communicating. Their home is centrally located in the town of Tiverton conveniently located about a block from downtown shopping. The cats were very easy to take care of and very sweet.
Chris and Kara were great to talk with leading up to the sit. Super friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have. They have clearly had sitters before and make the process simple for you. The house is close to multiple bus lines, which makes it very easy to get anywhere in the city. Just hop on the top deck of the bus and enjoy views, we would encourage you to take a couple different routes because you’ll get to see more of the city. The best part of the sit was Lechat. He just has a super big personality. Highly communicative and loves to be with you, following you through the house. You will be his best friend instantly if you will get the massage brush out. You will be rewarded by love and purrs. If you have any trouble finding it, don’t worry, he will lead you to the table :-)
Mezcal is gorgeous, independent, confident and a good communicator. She is a very verbally quiet cat with a lovely playful side. My kids adored her. She is perfect. Her parents made her care very low maintenance with a automatic feeder. She really melts into a puddle of purrs and happiness when brushed which we enjoyed doing daily as it was such a fun reaction to experience. She was wonderful company for my remote working husband who appreciated having good Wi-Fi in a well set up private office. Mezcal was usually in the same room as one of us when not out exploring or sleeping above the fridge. If she was outdoors but nearby she usually would come inside when we shook a extra collar bell for her and called her. Comfortable bedrooms with nice light, views and blackout shades. Great location on a quiet street half a block from all the big city amenities you can possibly want. Including cheese monger, bakery, Michelin recommended restaurants, transit, playground, cocktail lounge, wine bar, pharmacy and convenience stores. We liked the neighborhood so much we left to central attractions less then we expected because there was so much to enjoy in the vicinity. Wonderful kitchen for cooking. House was spacious, very clean and thoughtfully prepared for our family. Communication with our hosts was perfect. I would absolutely care for Mezcal again and recommend to other remote workers who want to experience living in a great part of London ten minutes from Angel.
Joe was really helpful and had lots of useful information about the area, which made exploring the area a lot easier. Risga is super sweet and lovely to cuddle. I really enjoyed my few days looking after her!
Pet sitting for Leah has been a great experience. She is a really nice host, communication was really easy and fluent all the time. Although we hadn't the opportunity to meet in person, she gave us a super useful video tour and was always available for any query. Moving to the "pet side", Gatsby is a Rockstar, what an expressive, gorgeous and lovable cat! He will welcome you from minute one and become your best friend. He is not a lap cat, but he is super handsome and has a lovable personality. Impossible not to fall in love with him! We worked remotely during our stay and everything went smoothly. We had plenty of space and enjoyed a reliable internet connection. Looking forward to coming back in a future opportunity. We strongly recommend this sitting to everyone who loves cats and countryside.
Sitting for Sheri, Ed and the fur babies, Koa & Rosco was an absolute pleasure! They have a beautiful stunning new home that is clean, comfortable and situated in a very peaceful and safe environment. Sheri was an excellent communicator throughout the entire process from beginning to end. They allowed us to stay at their place the night before which gave us a chance to get to know them and their fur babies better. We loved getting to know Sheri & Ed on a more personal level. They are an awesome couple and we had a fun time talking to them about music and past shows that they have been to. First off, as a young pup Koa is a ball of energy and very intelligent. She loves playing fetch with her ball, frisbee, and stuffed animal chicken in the backyard. She also loves playing keep away and will occasionally let you win to keep you interested in the game. Haha! She loves to keep you company wherever you go and getting tons of attention. Rosco is an absolute sweetheart! You can talk to him and he’ll respond back tilting his head side to side. It’s so cute! They receive a greenie treat that they love at 5pm and don’t worry about forgetting because Rosco will remind you right around 4:30. Hehehe Sheri & Ed’s home has all the amenities you will need with a fully stocked kitchen. So need to worry about lugging along a bunch of appliances. This was a wonderful sit that we recommend and would love to come back to visit again!
