Kate was a great house sitter. It was lovely that she came to stay the day before I left for holiday, which meant that we could have a good chat and the dogs bonded with her so quickly. She kept in touch whilst I was away which was ideal. The dogs were obviously very happy on my return and everything was great with the house. No hesitation in recommending Kate and would like to thank her for all her hard work.
AK and Steven did a great job looking after our two cats and dog for a week. They had no problems following the animal’s schedule, and all three of them were happy and relaxed when we got home. They were easy to contact and provided photo updates. The house was clean and tidy after their stay. Happy to recommend AK and Steven as pet and house sitters!
Ada was great! We did a video call before I left and she arrived as expected later in the day to care for Mittens for a few days. Photos and check ins were appreciated and ada left the house clean and neat. 10/10 would recommend her to house & cat sit (and likely other animals too)
I enjoyed my time in Morzine sitting with Ginny and Brian. Overall, it was a very easy sit in a beautiful location with awesome hosts Vicky, Adam, and Izzy. I would recommend this sit and would gladly do another sit here. Ginny is a sweet cat that enjoys being around you. She will sit on your lap while you watch tv, or sit next to you while you work on your laptop, or will snooze next to you in bed. She didn’t seem interested in any type of play when I was there, but she does love her meal time. Brian was only seen during meals, but he accepts a couple of pets while waiting for his meal on the window. You do have to keep an eye on Ginny during meals as she will go out the cat door and try to get some of Brian’s food outside. The home is in a good location in Morzine. I was able to easily walk to shops and restaurants that were open during my stay. There are also a few trails within walking distance that has amazing views of the town and mountains. The weather wasn’t on my side for most of my stay, however on some of the good days I was able to take the car Vicky left for my use to nearby towns such as Annecy or Avoriaz, or just to drive around the mountains and see the views and stop in little shops along the way. The home is clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay, including a wood burning stove for the cold nights which was very cozy. Vicky, Adam, and Izzy were very hospitable hosts from the moment I arrived. They made transportation arrangements to and from Morzine since it was the off season and buses were running infrequently and not reliable, they had an amazing fondue dinner waiting on my first night, they introduced me to people in Morzine incase I needed anything during my stay, they left me use of a car, and they gave awesome recommendations on things to do/see in the area. Vicky was communicative before and during my sit and ensured I had everything I needed during my stay. It was a very good sit overall.
