This sit was awesome and so is Heidi! We loved the cozy home and taking care of Slater and Poppy was so fun. Slater is a sweetheart and loves his outdoor time! Heidi is so kind and understanding and communication was fantastic. The suburban neighborhood is quiet and safe, and are real retreat from stress - especially with the hot tub! Highly recommend!
It was a pleasure to look after Magnus Lodge for Richard and Suzane whilst they were in Australia. We can recommend house sitting for them without any hesitation. Communication between us was excellent and whenever we had a question or needed to attend to anything we were given prompt responses. Magnus Lodge is a special Edwardian period manor house with some original features and is a house that talks to you, with views out over the countryside and a lovely garden which we watched change into autumn while we were there. One of our favorite all time house sits, we would of course love to come back should the dates work.
Laura and her family were so kind and welcoming! Their house is located in a beautiful area of El Cerrito with many streets and paths to walk with amazing views of San Francisco and the Bay Area. Before they left on their trip they showed me around the house and gave me clear instructions on how to care for their pets. I had a wonderful time hanging out at their house with their dog Izzie and their cat Mochi! Mochi loved to come and sit on my lap. I also spent a lot of time walking nearby and Izzie was the perfect companion- she's easy to walk! Izzie is a sweet and well behaved dog and she gave me lots of love during the weekend which I will miss! I would happily recommend this sit and will gladly stay at their house again. Thank you so much.
We had a great stay at Karen & Williams lovely house in Aberdeenshire. We had a meal with them the day before we left. Which was lovely. The animals were easy to look after a joy to be around. I’d be delighted to be asked to sit again
London the Westie is pure joy! We went everywhere together: chasing squirrels, visiting Bedford, people-watching, running, etc. He is chill, independent, playful, a good walker, a smelling expert, receptive to learning new tricks, very communicative with his eyes and excellent to pet-sit. Sarah and Cooper's flat is extremely comfortable, modern, and practical for people working from home, and it provided many kitchen and home appliances for a wonderful sit. Thumbs up for your exhaustive Welcome Guide and prompt communication! THANK YOU for the sit, the travel conversation, our lunch/dinner, and your GENEROSITY, especially for the last day, it was AMAZING!!! If our paths crossed again, I would be the first to pet-sit again. If you are a dog lover, you'll have a memorable sit.
This sit was so much better than my expectations. Even with minor schedule adjustment (which worked out for everyone) both dogs (Misty and Trump) were so loving and easy, the shy Valerie (cat) actually took to me better than the owners expected. It was my first time caring for chickens - very easy - and educational for me. Great sit; owners Janice and Dave made me feel like part of the family. I truly hope another sit will be happen in the future. Thanks again to you all.
