We have had d a wonderful 3 weeks stay at Mark's cozy, stylish and organized home looking after his lovely pets and plants. Dickens & Pepper are energetic, fun and huggable ;) Chikita is sweet, adorable and independent and every night she put us to bed. Mark was very straightforward in all our communications and explained everything in detail. Kandersteg is a real natural paradise and we were lucky to experience all its beauty. Mark's home is conveniently situated right on the path to the gondola that takes you to Oeschinensee -a must see- and also to the train station that will take you to amazing places like: Thun, Spiez and Bern. A lovely experience, thanks Mark!
Poppy is an utter delight, such good company! Nancy and Wes were kindly, thoughtful and welcoming; they gave us a really helpful and detailed briefing (with accompanying notes) which made the housesit an absolute doddle. Their home is very chic, stylish, spotlessly clean and very low maintenance; it felt like we were VIP guests in a very agreeable weekend retreat. It was a real pleasure to meet Nancy, Wes and Poppy. We would rush back in a heartbeat. This is an A+++ house sit which we wholeheartedly endorse, if you are lucky enough to be offered the chance to house sit here, you should grab it with both hands!
Hans and Sabine are very welcoming persons and if you like to enjoy a wonderful huge jungle accompanied by 3 adorable cats you will like this place a lot. The cats scuffles with each other from time to time, but are generally super sweet and follow you around like a little shadow. The lively little Chilli, a climbing artist, Sir Henderson, who puts you to bed in the evening and picks you up again in the morning, and the boss Juli, who keeps an eye on everything. The flat is beautifully located in Charlottenburg and you can go for beautiful walks along the Spree or visit nice restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed the terrace and had a lot of fun with the cute cats who took my heart by storm.
What more can I say, meeting Kersti and Matt was a real pleasure. I appreciate the fact that they let me care for their precious dogs Deacon and May. We hit it off right from the start and had lots of fun all weekend! They are full of energy and enjoy their long walks and playtime out back. It won't be long and you will be their friend but just beware that they may want to sleep with you! They are fun loving and ready to be by your side. The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood with the park just down the road and the river out back. I hope to help out again not only because of Deacon and May but because Kersti and Matt are fun to be around. Till we meet again! Yes, I will bring my work clothes! Blessings!
My husband and I had the pleasure of house and pet sitting for Paul and Kathy from 17-25 October. We had a brilliant time! Paul and Kathy are wonderful hosts, anticipating everything a sitter could need to make this sit easy, fun and one we will remember forever. They were extremely accommodating with our unique situation, as we are moving from Wisconsin to NorthCarolina with a pet of our own and a camper in tow. The dogs are extremely well trained, lovable and on an easy to follow schedule. Somewhere between day one and three those dogs; each with her own unique personality, captured our hearts. I fell head over heels and am already missing their soulful brown eyes and kind natures. The area is lovely. The fall colors, rolling fields, mild weather and their well tended woods, farm, fields and home are a must see for pet sitters who want to enjoy the countryside with a side of Wisconsin city life as Appleton and Green Bay are only a short drive away. Paul and Kathy also have a back up for you for any questions or things which may arise throughout your stay. We highly recommend this sit. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we stayed on an extra day to spend some quality time with our new friends, Paul and Kathy.
House and dog sitting for Julie and Kevin was truly a joy. Their neighborhood was just as described and so was their home. The dogs (Rosie and Reagan) were super smart, friendly, cuddly, and so sweet. Piper and Chuppy (cats) were just as friendly. Chuppy took some warming up to but eventually she took to me and was demanding sits on the patio with a meow. These girls all know what they like and made me feel right at home. I brought a lot of my own things and food but Julie offered me the use her food and beverages. She even left me 2 bottles of wine. I would definitely sit for Julie and the girls again. It was a relaxing and rewarding weekend.
