It was an absolute pleasure to take care of Holly and the apartment of Evangelia and Georgios. First of all: Holly - an incredible friendly and loving beauty, always keen to get pet and cuddled. It was great to walk with her on the river Main which is only a few meters from the home of Evangelia and Georgios. We both enjoyed our long walks, Holly played with sticks she always found and sniffed around. And we also both enjoyed our evenings cuddled up on the couch and watching Netflix. Evangelia and Georgios are wonderful hosts. We met personally before their flight and they showed me everything in their apartment which has all amenities you need. They even cooked pasta before they left so we had lunch together. They also left clear instructions for everything and we kept in touch during their absence regularly. I would definitely come back to sit for Holly and also recommend it highly to everyone.
Lucy's house was fresh, clean, and made me feel very much at home from the moment I arrived. Lucy provided clear and detailed instructions, which made the stay smooth and stress-free. Communication was excellent, and she was always responsive and helpful. The location by the racecourse was outstanding and really added to the trip, making it even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would be more than happy to sit for them again in the future. Highly recommended!
Clint and Rachel are very nice down to earth folks that made us feel at home right away. They prepared a detailed list of Frankie “tips” that was a useful reference during the sit. Communications were open, informal and timely. Frankie is a very sweet, kind and lovable dog. She loves to play tug-of-war, chase tennis balls, run on the beach and jump in the pool (especially after a long walk). She is well-behaved when riding in the car and likes to lie down on the floorboard of the passenger's front seat. We took her on several trips including a couple of visits to North Solana Beach where dogs can run off-leash on the beach. She likes to sleep on your bed and follow you around the house because she wants to be near you. Clint and Rachel’s home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the city of Cardiff-By-The-Sea. The backyard overlooks the valley below and has an ocean view in the distance. The home is very comfortable with a separate bedroom and bath for the pet sitter. There are many restaurants and grocery stores just a short drive away. The surrounding neighborhood is very walkable and dog friendly and you’ll see lots of friendly folks walking their dogs. We met quite a few of the neighbors while walking Frankie. This was a great sit and we would gladly sit for Frankie again. We highly recommend this sit.
Although both Relli and Athena were lovely and an absolute delight to be around, there were a couple of issues with the sit. The two don't get along, and this may result in you having to reschedule some of your work calls or make some changes to your schedule if the two happen to be in close proximity (Athena likes going downstairs where Relli stays) and you need to keep a close eye on them when they're acting hostile so that nothing escalates. The updates were given as asked and more as per the set expectations prior to the arrival. All the messages were returned in a timely manner. I left at 5:10 PM and both Relli's and Athena's food bowls were full. Relli's water bowl was full as well. Athena's water fountain kept glitching, even though there was still water in there. I had to adjust my schedule so that I was able to stay for one more night due to some flight changes. This wasn't an issue for me, although I did expect it to be appreciated more since it was very much a last minute change. All in all, I liked looking after both Relli and Athena, even if they were somewhat of a tricky duo to keep happy while they're still getting adjusted to each other. I wish the set expectations were clearer in order to avoid miscommunication.
Kumari was the cutest cat; easy to be with and easy to care for. Jasmin’s tiny apt has everything you need for a short stay in Brussels. It was a pleasure to sit for Kumari.
It was one of the best sits i have ever had!! Sarah was totally organized and already sent me all the informations and i could ask her anything! 💞 the cats were so sweet 🐱 and always happy when you’re back at home. The location of Sarah’s home is perfect too, it’s close to everything and supermarkets etc. are in walking distance. i would highly recommend it!!!💖thank you :)
