Thank you Cathy and Dave for letting us care for the sweetest little dachshunds. They made us smile and we thoroughly enjoyed taking care of them. The accommodation was comfortable, very clean and very organised. We had good communication and clear instructions. Much appreciated. A delightful sit if you get the opportunity.
The dogs were great. The stream rushing past the house is lovely . The house looks fantastic from the outside but it is very cold and dark inside. Things warmed up when Lexie told me a couple of portable heaters were available. When I arrived the kitchen was dirty and stinky. I had to give the floor a good sweep and clean out all the dog beds. I never usually have anything negative to say but prospective sitters should be aware about the above. It is an experience to stay in such an old historic house.
We had a blast caring for Dougie. He’s gentle, loving, and a just a pleasure to be around. Despite his age, he still has a lot of energy and loves to play. His recall was excellent, we felt fully comfortable giving him the freedom to explore a little on our off-road walks. He captured our hearts and he’ll have yours, too! Tom & Brooke were friendly, hospitable, and communicative - making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The home was lovely and the area is charming. We would highly recommend this sit!
Natalie was super communicative and available for any questions I had throughout my stay! Luka is a sweetheart with a ton of energy, so we had a nice time going on walks throughout the area (a section of the city with a warm/calm vibe) and playing tug of war. Thanks for inviting me into your home! ✨
I had such a lovely week in North Berwick looking after Hamish. Julie was very welcoming and great to deal with throughout. Communication prior to and during the sit was perfect. I was provided with all the information I needed to set me up for a great stay. Hamish is a fun and loveable boy who loves his walks down to the beach. He’s very affectionate with a cheeky sense of mischief! One thing to be mindful of is to keep your stuff well out of Hamish’s reach as he is quite prone to making off with it! There’s no doubt that this was a lovely experience and one that I am very happy to recommend. I would happily look after Hamish again in the future if our dates were to align.
I had a great time taking care of Mabel! She's so sweet and easy to care for and Cheryl's place is very comfortable and near the beach and great restaurants. Would love to sit for Mabel again!
