That was a wonderful experience and lifelong memories for me and my son! All the pets were wonderful and very easy to take care of. Cayo will be your guard and protector. No strangers or predators will enter the territory without your permission. Cayo does not tolerate heat and long walks very well. The best way to walk him would be morning and evening in the hot summer monthes. Please feed Cayo first, because if you don't he will bark and start chasing chickens and cats. You will see Parker in late pm hours only during her dinner, she is the sweetest and prettiest girl who loves cuddles. Leo is a playful mischievous dominant kid who knows how to draw attention. Beaux loves to be petted, but does not like to be picked up. He loves to eat, make sure you do not overfeed him. Max is very loving, he lets to be picked up by humans. The oldest black chicken is an "alfa" girl, and do things by her own schedule :-). Steven and Lauren were great hosts. They are good communicators and left clear instructions. They have beautifully decorated and updated house. The house was super clean and had everything you might need, the beds were comfortable. Steven and Lauren let us eat delicious vegetables from their garden. We had plan of what places to visit, but the location is so pieceful and beautiful that sometomes we just didn't want to leave and hanged out in the house. We had a great time in Asheville, swimmed at Lake James, did hiking at Fonta Flora including wild mushrooms hiking. Thank you so much Steven and Lauren for sharing your house and amazing pets! We will miss them, but looking forward to see them again in the future.
Watson is a total sweetheart and super chill. He loves his morning walks, treats and sofa snuggles. I felt right at home and very comfortable. The bed is cozy and the soaker tub is fantastic if you love baths. I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the back patio. Liz was fantastic at communicating and the directions to take care of Watson were clear. I highly recommend this sit and look forward to coming back myself.
I spent a truly wonderful 10 days looking after Millie, Duke, the rabbits, tortoise and fish. The dogs are simply happy, easy retrievers who enjoy a good off leash walk. The house is fantastic, I felt really at home, and Andrea and Laurie are both lovely and welcoming. I had all the information and stuff I needed for the sit (keys, food ready, emergency contacts). I’d love to come back again.
We've been very happy to spend a few days with Capucine, she's a sweet old lady who happily naps the day away and really enjoys company; she absolutely loves cuddling and laying all over you - the ideal companion in winter! We also loved the house, luminous and cozy, with a nice view on a canal, perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood yet close to all shops and lively areas. Grateful to Lea and her little family for the hospitality!
Sitting for Parker was great! He is very chill and has a great routine. He is energetic in the morning walking, likes sunshine naps during the day, and is super quiet during the night. After becoming familiar with you, he makes cute sounds and affectionate interactions. Eric is quick to respond to all our questions. And the location is central to all the fun areas of LA. We had a great time during the stay and would strongly recommend Eric's place if you plan to visit LA.
Kim has a very nice house in a beautiful neighborhood. There are some wonderful walking trails right nearby and just a short walk to the lake. Kim has a gorgeous backyard and deck to relax on while watching the dogs enjoy the yard. No complaints about this sit and definitely recommend!
