I had a wonderful time, taking care of Tracker for Therese in Truro! Tracker is a beautiful cat and was really easy to care for. Therese and David's house is stunning...a gorgeous big kitchen and lovely garden. Perfect for working from home. Therese was really kind and generous. It felt like she really wanted me to enjoy my holiday in Truro, making sure I had everything I needed and sending me lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. I'd return in a heartbeat!
This was my second time sitting for Natalie and it could not have gone better. The dogs are easy, the apartment is great, and Natalie is super nice!
Melissa is the best host you could hope for. From our initial video chat to get the sit, leading up to the sit and during the sit Melissa was vibrant, positive, funny, welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. Her apartment is gorgeous and the location is perfect right in the city centre if Amsterdam. Everything is walking distance and the views from her balcony are stunning. Last but not least the adorable fur babies Ziggy and Franny. You really couldn’t wish for 2 more loving, well behaved, low maintenance kitties. They are the best company and kept us amused with their different characters and personalities. If you are lucky enough to get this sit take it. You will absolutely love it. This housesitting experience exceeded all of expectations. Christoper and Janet are both wonderful and kind people. They cooked us a delicious dinner on the day of our arrival and we enjoyed getting to know them and the property on our first day. Potato is a smart, friendly and playful puppy and is so fun to be around. Christopher and Janet warned us that he might be unruly sometimes but he was much calmer as soon as he got to know us and wasn’t high maintenance at all. It was a true pleasure to take him for walks around the property and take him for hikes in the woods with us. He also likes to sleep and has no problem spending time in his crate so you will have plenty of time to focus on our things when you need to. The property is very unique and has a private pond and an access to the river nearby. Janet is a passionate cook and her kitchen has any spice that you could ever imagine. The bed is very comfy and we really enjoyed spending time on the porch overlooking the pond. There is lots of wildlife on the property including rare kinds of birds, wild turkeys and deer. The Pack River Store is about a 10-mins walk from the house and has some delicious home-cooked food. We enjoyed going there for breakfast and sitting on the terrace overlooking the river. Sandpoint is a really fun little town with lots of restaurants, breweries and shops only a 15-minute drive from the house. Christopher and Janet had great recommendations for us in terms of food, hikes and things to do in the area and we tried to follow most of them. It must be so nice to stay at this place in the summer when the weather is warm and good for swimming in the river or the lake. We would love to come back to spend time here and we already miss the little Potato!
We spent almost 2 weeks at Fab’s comfortable home In Sunbury. The neighborhood is very nice with plenty of places to go for coffee and walks during the day. We had a lovely dinner with Fab and her family the night before and we felt at home right away. They also left straightforward instructions on routines and household that were very clear to understand and follow. Tom and Mittens are two absolute sweethearts, very easy to look after. We really enjoyed spending time with them and they were amazing company during our stay. Thank you Fab and family for trusting us with your beautiful babies.
Jane and Daniel were so welcoming and communicative. Although we didn't get to meet, they left brilliantly clear instructions and kindly left me some things in the fridge for me on my arrival. Their house is beautiful and was spotless when I arrived. And the cats!! Oh gosh I miss them, they are both the sweetest, most affectionate little creatures. They are truly some of the nicest cats I've ever looked after. That part of South-East London is very pleasant although you might not want to leave the garden!
