What do you do when there are not enough stars? Anna was so above and beyond any expectation I might have had. She managed our menagerie with grace…our dog and cat are in love with her❤️ the chickens layed more eggs-she also handled a medical emergency that came up with a cool head and a lot of caring. We came back to a tidy house, happy animals, and a feeling of order that was so appreciated.
It was an absolute pleasure to sit Kobe for Karen. Kobe is such a happy, sweet and clever boy. Taking him for walks was fantastic, he’s very excited to show you around the area. He adores pats, plenty of belly rubs and attention and will absolutely melt your heart. Karen was a great host, such a friendly person and was always quick and clear with communication. The flat is very comfortable and in a great area. Convenient and quiet with shops around the corner. A park just out the door makes walking Kobe a breeze, with Arthur’s Seat and Portobello beach accessible for bigger adventures. I can highly recommend applying for this sit if you have the chance. It was a wonderful week and I miss Kobe already!

We really enjoyed our time looking after lovely Jaffa, and Ruth’s comfortable home and pretty garden in Orange. Ruth is a friendly, experienced and communicative host. We met online before the sit, and she left notes which made the sit straightforward. Jaffa was gorgeous and great company; she’s used to new people in the house, and warmed to us straight away. She loved her favourite sunny (and shady) spots in the beautiful garden, but would also come in often for a chat and a stroke on the carpet or a cuddle on the sofa. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the deck or in the garden for a morning cuppa and breakfast or afternoon tea. Orange and the nearby towns and villages are great places to explore. We especially enjoyed swimming in nearby Lake Canobolas, which was popular with the locals in the summer heat. We highly recommend this sit, and would gladly look after Jaffa again in future.
This is a great sit! We met Gina at the home the night before the sit. She is such a gracious host! Gina provided an excellent welcome guide and took us through all the particulars. We had no concerns throughout the sit. Gina’s home is spotless; her kitchen is lovely– with all the appliances you might ask for. Everything was great, a very relaxing sit! Savannah is a lovely dog and quite spry for a ten year old. It rained most days we were there. So we walked Savannah on the roads where Gina lives, encountering only one or two cars and no other people while we were on them. There are some relatively flat roads and also some very steep ones for those who would like more exercise. You can also find nice views over the hills/mountains. The area is wonderful! Brevard, Asheville and Highlands are amongst our favorite spots to visit. One evening after feeding Savannah we went into Ashville and ate at our favorite restaurant – Curate. Highly recommended! There are lovely waterfall walks in the area and also some nice mountain hiking. Gina and Jon were very accommodating in scheduling the sit. We made some mid-course corrections based upon the weather and flight arrangements. Everything worked out well! We highly recommend this sit!
After our three-day hike in Aosta we took care of lovely Arlo in his house in Le Châble. We went to the house the evening before our stay, and Alex and Arlo took us out and showed the daily walk and habits. After that Alex showed us the apartment with an ample choice of prepared beds and bathrooms. A warm welcome! The days with Arlo were over before we knew. We made a nice hike all days and he loved the water of Lake Champex! This dog is amazing, so energetic and at the same time wonderfully listening and staying close 😍 We enjoyed it, all of us. Isabel and Alex are great people, and Arlo is the best companion to have in this wonderful Verbier area. When we have the chance, we will definitely come back. Highly recommended!
Ruby is the friendliest dog - seriously she wants to make friends with everyone (other dogs, people, garden snails, & even the angry neighborhood cat,lol). She was my best friend for 3 weeks, cuddling on the couch & making sure I had a constant supply of toys she was willing to help me play with :). She's the definition of a "good girl" and I miss her already. Tayler & Ornela were always responsive to questions and concerns via what'sapp and provided clear instructions on walking/feeding/do's&don'ts w Ruby. They made me feel welcome in their home, perfectly located to explore Singapore from (being my 1rst time there). It's an easy walk to catch a train, bus, and even cable cars. Vivo City Mall, Sentosa Island and even a Hawker Center are easy to get to. The apartment was clean & cozy with a lovely balcony. Being on the marina, there were beautiful views to be seen everytime I walked Ruby. She's left a permanent paw print on my heart and I hope to see her again someday!
