Lily watched our cat and dog and she was excellent. She took great care of our pets and home, and kept me updated with cute photos. She showed up on time, gave our cat and dog lots of cuddles, and took our dog on fun adventures while we were away. When we arrived home, everything was tidy and our animals were happy. She’s a responsible, loving pet-sitter and I wouldn’t hesitate to have her again!
What a pleasant place to stay and what a gentle, kindly family to petsit for. So, no surprise that Monty the warmhearted snuggly cat and Lando the bouncy, obedient, loving young cockapoo dog were a dream-sit, a joy to share life with for 12 days, notwithstanding the challenges faced by all three of us during the extreme and unusual hot weather at that time. PetParent Cathy provided excellent information both at a pre-sit visit to the house and garden to meet the family and pets and upon my arrival which Cathy facilitated by meeting me at the Railway Station in her car and indeed returned me there to catch my train at the end of the sit. A very enjoyable and highly recommended experience.
Hard to find the words to describe how pleasant my stay was at Chris’ art house in Brown’s Point. Blue is such a sweetheart and so easy to care for. As other reviews mention, this art is worthy of being called a museum - but it’s also cozy and warm. Chris was fantastic to work with - Very responsive and generous. I look forward to visiting again sometime!
Jake is such a fun pup to sit - super active and a great walking companion. He’s great at the park and was easy all around to care for. Jen’s place is stunning and couldn’t be in a better location - you can walk to almost everything you’d need to. Highly recommend!
I had an awesome stay with Binks at his amazing home. He is so sweet and easy going. We spent our mornings outside on the back porch or front yard and he cuddled up at night in front of the tv or at the foot of the bed. Thank you for having me, Wendell and Kathy! I appreciate your communication and willingness to accommodate me last minute! I would definitely recommend this sit for peace and comfort, a short drive to anything you need in a beautiful area.
We had a splendid time watching Amy and Kory's pups and poultry! It was a really great sit that we would happily return to and highly recommend! Amy and Kory are both really nice and friendly people. From our first communications with them, we knew they would be a pleasure to sit for. They were very pleasant in their communications before the sit began. We arrived the night before they left and we got to see their routine and chat with them a bit. They had a really great energy and made us feel like old friends. They are sitters themselves and were incredibly hospitable. Throughout the sit they were easy to communicate with and were very responsive. At one point there was a really bad storm with a tornado watch and expected hail (comes with the territory). We were worried about the hail damaging our car and they offered to cover the cost of a tarp which we ended up getting. Fortunately, the hail wasn't as large as forecast, but we appreciated their kindness and generosity. We overlapped again before we left from the sit and once again it was really positive. They even offered to ship something we accidentally left behind, which was extremely kind. They're the kind of homeowners that we look forward to staying in touch with. Parker (the larger white dog) is a goofy, gentle polar bear. He's an incredibly sweet boy with lots of love to give. He's a big fan of attention and very food motivated. He is pretty cuddly and enjoys being outside either in the backyard or on walks. He's good on the leash and a very gentle dog. He's super fluffy, loves his naps, and also quite quiet. He has a very funny personality. Maddie (the older black dog) is a sweet old lady. Because of her age (16 years young!) she needs a little more attention and love, and her care may be different for you than it was for us. Her back legs aren't the strongest but she was still able to make it up and down the stairs without a problem. She doesn't have use of her tail anymore and instead barks to express excitement, like when we were putting on her leash to take her on a walk. She was sure to let us know when it was time for a meal or walk, sometimes as early as 6am. Maddie also takes some medications but happily gobbles them up with the rest of her food, as she still has quite the appetite! Amy and Kory also did us the favor of putting her pills in an AM/PM organizer which was greatly appreciated! She has an incontinence issue (we woke up a few mornings to a wet doggie bed) that they are still working on with meds. We recommended doggie diapers (there's no shame in it!). Still, she's an excitable, friendly girl with lots of spunk. She walks great on a leash, loves being with her brother, and is quite the curious pup! She deserves all the love in the world during her golden years. We gave four stars in the "Pet behaviour" category simply because Maddie's conditions and care requirements evolved over time but weren't in the listing or welcome guide, and weren't fully communicated to us until we arrived at the sit. After explaining the additional care requirements, Amy did give us the option to have Maddie picked up by a family member, but we didn't think that it was necessary. Amy and Kory were very appreciative for our willingness to cater to Maddie's needs and made it worth our while. The chickens were just the cutest. Amy and Kory have a great little setup where they can go into a closed/protected run or free range in the yard. Their care was simple and mostly relegated to closing/opening doors, collecting fresh eggs, and checking on food and water. They even have an automatic door so you don't need to be up at the crack of dawn to let them out or home at sundown to shut them in! The dogs were super friendly around the chickens and the chickens were friendly to us and the dogs. It was a real treat to spend evenings sitting on the back porch listening to music and watching all the animals be goofy together. Notably was Lexi, the white hen, and Dolly, the small light brown hen. Lexi was particularly friendly and didn't mind being picked up. Dolly was roosting but was really sweet every time we checked the eggs. She's such a good mother! Their home is also very nice! They let us sleep in the master bedroom and use the master bathroom. Everything was comfortable and cozy. The house is decorated really well. The kitchen was well-stocked and they gave us free reign to everything in the fridge/pantry which we appreciated. The heating/AC worked very efficiently and the power stayed on even during a really bad storm. They had two office spaces we could use, which was great for us as we both work remotely. The deck was particularly nice along with the backyard. There was an obvious pet monitor camera in the living room, which Amy and Kory disclosed to us upon our arrival. When we asked them if we could turn it away from us, they were totally understanding and encouraged us to do so for our comfort. The area around the home is pretty great. The neighborhood itself is suburban but super close to downtown Lexington. It felt safe and was colorful and full of character. Walking Parker and Maddie was always something to look forward to; there is a nice park like two blocks away that they really loved :). Amy and Kory told us that Parker and Maddie don't need daily walks as long as they have access to the backyard, but it's such a pleasant neighborhood and the dogs absolutely deserve to explore it. Everything you might need is nearby and Amy and Kory can provide tons of recommendations for local food/drinks/stuff to do. During our free time we hiked at Red River Gorge (1hr drive) and saw beautiful cliffs, rock shelters, and a natural land bridge. At Kory's recommendation, we took the FREE tour/tasting at Buffalo Trace Bourbon Distillery (a national landmark ~30 minutes away!). Finally we did the cave tours at Carter Caves State Park (a 1hr 20min drive that's absolutely worth it!). We had so much fun exploring Kentucky's culture and nature that we didn't even have time to get into downtown Lexington. We wish we had more time there! Overall, we had a great time at this sit. Parker and Maddie are both sweet, well-behaved dogs. Maddie requires some extra love and care but she deserves the extra effort. Caring for the chickens was easy and fun along with the bonus of a constant supply of fresh eggs. Amy and Kory themselves are really lovely people to get to know. Their home is comfortable and the Lexington area is super cool with tons to do and something for everyone. We highly recommend this sit!
Anneri and her family are lovely and really welcomed us into their beautiful home. We were very comfortable during our stay and she kindly let us stay an extra night after they returned from holiday later in the evening. Caspian is gorgeous and so much fun to be around - he wants to be with you all the time and is so loving! Expect lots of licks 😂 he was well-behaved on walks and we enjoyed taking him to a nearby common on Anneri’s recommendation as well as on the local heath and to the pub. We didn’t see too much of Fury the cat but he and Bauble the rabbit are very sweet and easy to look after. Thank you for a great stay!

Extremely kind and helpful. Were very patient explaining the prices, booking and the grooming process. Very knowledgeable of what a guinea pig needs and made me feel very safe in leaving one of my piggies with them for the day. Came back to pick him up and he looks great, and seemed to be in very good spirits despite having been away all day. Got my piggie home and he was immediately back to himself and happy with his new look and much more comfortable. Cannot praise Furry Friends enough!
Took my kids guinea pigs to get their nails trimmed, including aromatherapy. Mike and Alison were lovely, and did a grand job. The guinea pigs came home, and were so relaxed, they didn't leave their pet carrier for 3 hours. Their nails look fantastic. 2 content piggles, and one happy owner. Highly recommend.
We've used Furry Friends Hotel for our rabbit any time we've been away for a few days, and we're always happy with the service we get. It's always hard to be away from our rabbit, but Furry Friends Hotel always make sure that we've got pictures and keep in close contact with updates about how she's getting on (which is fantastic, as we're always nervous so the reassurance is greatly appreciated!). They're always very friendly, flexible with times and even offer a taxi service for your pet.

This place is amazing! Have been meaning to leave a review for a while, they are kind and thoughtful and clearly care about every animal they look after. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for their pets, they are very communicative and give helpful updates so you never need to worry about your furry friends. Their grooming service is also impeccable, my bunnies never are stressed after, which cannot be said when I try myself.

Our three guinea pigs stayed at the Furry Friends Hotel in July 2020. The service was fantastic considering the coronavirus restrictions. We were given regular updates on how they were doing and they were extremely well looked after. I highly recommend this business and would not hesitate to use them again.
Our dog Poppy has been going here for years- she just loves it here. When we arrive in the car she can’t wait to get through the gate and into the kennels. Chris takes great care of the dogs and earns their trust. 10/10.
My Border Collie stayed here for 7 days in May 2019, I was surprised to see how clean and spotless the kennels were. Chris the owner put regular photos up on his facebook pages showing our wee boy having a great time playing in the very well secure playing area, when we picked him up it was immediately clear he had been well looked after, he looked so happy, I cannot thank Glenview enough for looking after him and we will definitely be using this kennel again, thank you Chris and team.

Best thing to ever happen to us. The wee pooch get to play and enjoy all the dogs once a week. The staff are the most amazing accommodating people who care so much about our animals. Perfect location in the centre of Falkirk. Day Session is broken up into play time, puzzle time, meal time, nap time haha they are well looked after. Bring your pooches food with you for the day. They do half day sessions or full day sessions. There is an app to manage your appointments. Or book via online. They have a FB page that they uploaded pics too of the week
Fantastic service from start to finish … I called and within a week had a visit with my pup … he’s now been in day care for the past two days and absolutely loves it … Christopher is super informative, helpful and accommodating ..the guys and girls are absolutely lovely and make you feel so secure when leaving your dog …(mines never looked back today) I can’t thank you guys enough for all the help with koda …I’m so glad he’s adjusting well and learning from you guys .. great positive play for the dogs x
Staff are very helpful and caring towards the dogs in daycare especially when providing informative updates on my dog’s day after he attends. The groomer Emily also done an outstanding job on my dog’s groom, made him look very handsome. Very happy with the level of service and care the business provides.

Sadly I haven't been able to have any contact with this place despite numerous attempts to contact to arrange a visit. I find it crazy you have to book before having a look around. I also now find the dog has to be neutered if older than 6months. Ridiculous, never heard of that. You can't force that. Just so ridiculous. Was so looking forward to seeing it as it sounds amazing for my dog. Lost a customer 😕
My two border terriers were both bathed here before Christmas and they came back smelling amazing. Would highly recommend this daycare centre to anyone. This place is amazing and the dogs are well looked after. The people are lovely and very welcoming and they really do care for your dogs.

My dog thoroughly enjoys her time at Pawtropolis. The facilities are superb and she has lots of fun in a safe environment. The staff are really knowledgeable with lots of great advice if you need it and it's clear that they genuinely care about the dogs. I could not be happier with the results we have had with the training our dog has had at pawtropolis. From day one we have had so much support to assist us when training our dog in the way we feel comfortable, they are very good at being flexible and taking time to find out what you want from training. Any time we have needed any advice the staff have helped us out. When taking our collie out a walk we struggled to get him back to us and worried about him jumping up on people when off the lead and we could not get him away from other dogs when playing. Pawtropolis really helped us to get our dog focused on us and now we could not be happier when going out a walk, his recall is excellent and the interaction with other dogs has really got him used to playing but being happy to come away when needed
Just had my nine month puppy cut for the first time today! Can’t thank Claire enough for Oreo’s cut. Oreo was a bit nervous to start off with but Claire was just amazing with him, very caring & gentle. Definitely be back again!!

Claire’s communication right from my first message was great! she came and met Oscar, even taking him a walk to make sure that he was happy with her. Whilst away on holiday Claire sent regular pictures and videos which was great as we have never left him with anyone before. Oscar loved being out with all his new pals and we would have no hesitation to use Claire again. Can’t recommend enough!

My boy has been going weekly to daycare for almost a year and absolutely loves it. He gets particularly excited when he sees his Uncle CJ. He’s a big guy and still just a puppy but he’s made very welcome. They are well experienced in big breeds and it’s so unusual for them to be made welcome in the daycare environment. He’s well cared for and any concerns about him have been raised in a timely conscientious manner. I’d highly recommend Bedlay!
My dog Betty has now been attending Doggy Day Care for the last few months 3 days a week. She absolutely loves it . Staff are amazing and she gets to play with other dogs which has really improved her behaviour. Great place. Would highly recommend.
Amazing place. My dog has been going to daycare twice a week for the past 18months and she has a great time. Very well looked after, staff have got to know her so well and staff are very attentive when I pick her up and always give me an update on her day has went. They really helped me out last year when I booked my dog in for home boarding with them and she went into season so one of the excellent staff members very kindly looked after her at his own home with his dog and she has a great time.. Definitely recommend for your dogs.
I have a small rescue that is a very adept escapee, so finding a place that is secure was essential, as was going somewhere other than a plain field to enrich her experience of being off lead. Bedlay First Walk fulfilled all my criteria and more. With mature trees and shrubbery, it is great for dogs, with fresh water available ...and even seats for dog owners. It is such a tranquil place! We've been twice now and intend another visit imminently. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Absolutely fantastic boarding and daycare. My own dog has been attending now for daycare and boarding for 5-6 months and they are simply wonderful. The care they provide for both services is exceptional and we wouldn’t use anyone else. It takes a team of people to raise and nurture a dog and I’m so glad we found them.
We did home boarding for our little Luna Cavapoo and she clearly settled in well. We were worried that we may have issues when we got her home. But absolutely not! she has settled back perfectly. Fantastic place for dogs to holiday whilst you holiday. Our dog Shadow had the best time and was very well looked after. The pictures and videos sent made us feel at ease whilst away. Highly recommend - staff are amazing.
I’ve been using their boarding services for a few years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, my dog Riley loves them and the place, they’re super friendly and you can tell they really care for all their dogs. I highly recommend it
I placed both my dogs here for 2 weeks and my older dog who has a health condition was returned to me near death. I was lucky that she was picked up early by a family member. My other dog was shut in a room on her own away from the otber dogs when that family member picked her up too. She also has severe eye infection in both eyes. I will not be using this business again. Very unhappy at the condition of both my dogs. Needless to say I will never use them again.

Lack of attention to detail from customer service point of view. Confirmed process prior to taking dog there , but they said something different at visit. Stay away from them.
I won't lie, I love my dogs more than my children so choosing the right kennels for my spaniels was really important which is why we choose Birdston kennels. The staff are amazing and have an obvious love for dogs and their jobs. The kennels are high quality and offer everything they need. Frequent updates and Facebook posts let you see how much fun they are having. We wouldn't go anywhere else, our doggies had a great time.
I have used these kennels twice now and I can honestly say that after the excellent service we've received both times I'm never going to go anywhere else and if these guys are full then so be it. The space itself is really designed from the ground up with your animals welfare at the forefront. They have plenty space as well as environmental protections and proper safe sleeping spaces. The staff ask all the right questions to ensure your animal will be looked after properly and pay great attention to detail on the specifics of your pet and its vaccination status etc. My dog never seems stressed or agitated when I collect him form here unlike another kennel we have used previously. I can't speak to the grooming side of the business as I have never used it but these kennels get my recommendation.
I was really anxious about leaving my Rosie in kennels for the first time but I needn't have worried. The team at Birdston were excellent. She was really well cared for and seemed very happy when I collected her. It was also reassuring seeing regular photos on Facebook and I was told I could phone any time during opening hours to ask how she was. Thank you all. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
My dogs go every week to day boarding and at holidays here. Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble.Dogs are so happy and cared for, get lots of exercise and love. One of mine is a nervous dog and he’s so settled there with the staff. Lots of lovely pictures posted of them out playing and having fun. Totally recommend here to anyone, first class service!

I've visited or tried every kennel for a 20mile radius from Birdston Kennels so I can fairly comment. Birdston Kennels is the BEST kennels for miles. I like the way you are asked the EXACT food/brand and feeding times for your dog. Unlike indoor kennels that are a humid breeding ground for germs, the kennels have indoor and outdoor for ventilation. Anytime I've picked my dog up I can see how clean they are. There is a good exercise area where the dogs are let out to play - this is not common with other kennels where they do not have such an area. The kennels themselves have a decent run area also. The staff genuinely care, my dog requires medication and the woman who runs it is even more exact than myself at administering my dogs medicine. If a dog is unwell, she is straight up at the vets to have him/her checked out - I know this because I've ran into her there! And the dog looked ok, but I guess she didn't want to take any chances. In a nutshell, someone who really cares about the dogs. The grooming facility is great - you can book your dog in for a clean at the end of the kennel period. Then you pick up your dog smelling lovely!
I have a 15 month old dog and he has stayed at the kennels several times now. He also receives all his grooming here and always comes out looking beautiful. The staff are great and I can't thank them enough.
I have used Birdston kennels for quite a few years. My two wee shelties are just home from a recent 2 week stay in the kennels. They come home looking in better condition than when we left them! They are beautifully groomed and are looking amazing. When we drop them off they wag their tails and are happy to stay. The staff could not be nicer and are so friendly. When they were unwell in kennels a few years ago they were well taken care of and they phoned me to let me know which I appreciated. I would not now board my dogs in any other kennels other than Birdston
Really debated whether to post a negative review or not but don't want other dogs being neglected like my Golden Retriever. The website says that dogs will get walks in the forest, free walking in a grass paddock or even group walks but he seemed to only get some solo time in the concrete play area. The weather was amazing so I thought he would get out and about. Upon dropping Benny off, we were told he wouldn't be mixed with other dogs at all due to no other dogs his size, then the unpleasant woman stormed off. From looking at the updates on their Facebook page, there were multiple other large dogs including labradors and Retrievers so this was disappointing. We booked this with good intentions that Benny would be walked and mingle with other dogs but none of this happened. He is a friendly dog so we expected him to social with other dogs. They stay in concrete floored kennels and Benny was returned with blood stained elbows and sores presumably from laying on concrete too long. We had given them two blankets for Benny to lay/sleep on and I doubt they were even handed to Benny. Benny only stayed there for 6 days and I'm disappointed in the state he came back in. The staff never said anything about his elbows/sores, they probably didn't even notice. If you really care for your dog, please go somewhere else.
Our Dog has stayed here 3 times in the last year. Each time the service has been superb. Staff all very friendly and really get to know your dog. We have used several kennels over the years, some good, some bad, but this is the best by far. We now don't have to worry about leaving Mila for a few days as we know she will be well looked after.
Absolutely love this kennels and cattery I’ve used valley kennels for my dogs previously and now our cats for 30 years … admittedly my dogs were kennel dogs at home so they were happy and my cats never bother going in to the cattery and staff look after our pedigree kitties so well.. I read some of the reviews and think mmm … I’d definitely recommend here.. even my husbands dog who’d never seen a kennels and we kennelled him here at an age of 14 and he was super and well cared for.
Love this place Take my cat when we go on holiday and I really think he enjoys being at the kennels The staff are excellent and know me and my cat very well. They are so friendly and I believe they care about every animal in the kennels Would 100% recommend using these kennels for your cats or dogs

Great cattery, staff are always friendly and welcoming. And my cats are always returned happy and calm. The photo updates on social media are great to see how well they are doing. I have used this place several times and would highly recommend them.
Avoid!!! My poor boy was left in the kennel for 4 nights to lie in his own pee without as much as a walk because hes terrified of putting the slip lead on they said for the safety of staff members they cant risk putting his harness on him hes not an aggressive dog i have 2 small kids at home its was just a new environment and was scared. He has been left traumatised from this. Had to get family member to collect him early as when i called to check on him they informed me he hasnt left the kennel for a walk this is just cruel!! Also dont believe he wouldn't go a walk i don't think they even tried as he loves his walks.
Extremely disappointed in the service we received. We were on holiday in Thailand and books Lola in for a 13 night stay. Received a call from the kennels on day 11 asking us to collect Lola as she had damaged her paw pads. Damage I may add encouraged by the kennels encouraging energetic play on a hard, concrete surface. It appears however that they were more interested in how they would get paid before they would release Lola to our neighbour and asked if I could transfer the money to my neighbour so that they could be paid. From Thailand on a Saturday and we were 7 hours ahead. I agreed to pay them over the phone and Lola was released into the care of my neighbour. They were more interested in getting paid than in Lola’s welfare. They couldn’t wait two days until we returned. When she got home, she didn’t (couldn’t) bark. She had lost her voice. I discussed this with my vet who said that this can occur when the subject is continuously barking for long periods of time. There is absolutely no duty of care offered here and they are not interested in administering and care to any damage or injury albeit a result of their negligence in failing to notice any change in your pet. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID !
I can’t explain how good this cattery has been. Had our two boys here for 10 days, they’re long haired and in a previous cattery had come back quite scruffy, but picked them up from Valley this morning and they look, smell and feel as if they’ve been groomed daily and looked after so well. They seem to have had a great time (one of them didn’t even want to get in the carrier to come home). The cattery also posted photos of them on the Facebook page every day, which made being away a lot easier, as I could see each day how they were doing. Will definitely only use this cattery from now on. The staff are super friendly and helpful too!
They charged us the full amount on drop off and our family again on collection. Our dog came home with an injured nose. We also left our portioned bags of our dogs regular food because his stomach is sensitive to change and there was nearly 2 days of food left in his bag when we collected him. They told us our dog ate one of his toys, stuffing and all, which makes sense since they apparently weren't feeding him. Very disappointed with how our dog was treated and won't be using again.
Alison has been wonderful looking after our 2 dogs these last few days. She is very professional and we had no worries leaving our boys (one with medical needs) in her care. She ensured their routine was followed and we came home each day to happy boys. We'd definitely use Alison again.

I engaged Mo to cat sit so long ago it was in a time pre Covid! It was obvious from the start her passion for cats and empathy for their owners. The feeling was mutual. The first time she cat sat she sent a pic of Felix on her chest. One of the last times she looked after them she spotted blood in the litter tray so inspected the cat and made an extra visit later to check there wasn't any more. I recommended her to a friend and she performed cat sitting duties and helped my mate out when a stray cat she fed was sick and later sadly passed away. Not technically part of the service. I should have written a review before now. Today personified her love for animals and care for owners when she helped me in a really compassionate way when my cat had just been run over. She was mid dog walking service but did not hesitate to take control, drove me to a vet and assured me he was unconscious and blissfully unaware which is what every owner needs to hear when their animal is dying. She even swept me up and took me home afterwards. All the while making sure the dogs were still getting what they needed. Like some of the other reviews have said I can't recommend highly enough for authentic client and animal focused service. If I could give 10 stars I would and hope to use her services again some day. Mo and Reno have looked after Willow for 2.5 years for daily walks, daycare and overnights when I have had to travel for work. Willow loved being part of the pack and always returned mud free, well exercised and happy! Their care and love for the animals they care for is clear. They are reliable and never let me or Willow down and I was very sad to have to separate Willow from the pack when we had to move from Scotland. I cannot recommend them enough and you should have no hesitation is trusting your pets, of any size to their care. This is a Completely positive review of Tails and Adventures! Their attitude to humans is totally professional and their attitude to the animals extremely kind and caring. We felt very safe to hand our pets (and the keys of our home) over - really appreciated the sensible questions (where's the pet carrier if there's an emergency etc) which put us at ease before we left and then appreciated the updates while we were away. Our cats brought a mouse home while we were away which shows how much they loved their new babysitter and it was dealt with easily and with an appropriate level of humour. When we got back all three cats were relaxed and had clearly been well looked after. Highly recommended if you need a pet-sitter while you are away. The only drawback is I'm not sure the cats missed us.
Mo and Reno have looked after Bella since we first adopted her. She absolutely loves her walks and we are so grateful that she's well looked after and cared for when she's out with Tails & Adventures. Wouldn't feel comfortable leaving her with anyone else.
Our dog, Peggy, has been going on weekly walks with Mo & Reno since she was a puppy - I think it's the highlight of her week! They take her on lovely and safe walks where she can run around happily with the other dogs. We're very thankful we came across Tails & Adventures as they provide such a fantastic service and are very trustworthy & reliable people.
Mo and Reno have looked after Holly for a number of years now and I can't recommend them highly enough. They have a great bond with her which is clear by the crazy welcome she gives them every day when they arrive to take her out! She always comes home from her walks tired, happy and content. Mo and Reno always go above and beyond to help with Holly in any way they can and I trust them completely to take good care of her.
Tails and Adventures are great with our black Labrador and we have used them for years. Always reliable and responsive with great communication. We trust them and know our dog is well looked after. Highly recommended service and lovely people.

We have just picked up our 2 jack Russells from gartcloss kennels first time boarding.. We put our wee dog into the kennels for the first time last week and were worried about leaving him. After a chat with the owners we realised he would be fine and can tell he's has been extremely well looked after. Have already booked him in again and know he will be extremely well looked after.
We have just picked up our grey Harry from his two week holiday at Gartcloss kennels. We could not have asked for better care of him while we were away. He has come back happy with a lovely shiny coat. The kennels themselves are five star with a good indoor space and each dog having their own outdoor space too! Could not have found two better people to look after Harry. Me and my partner felt totally relaxed while we were away knowing Harry was being so well looked after, will definitely use them again!
I used Gartcloss Kennels for the first time and my little Truffles loved it. Andrea sent me continuous updates of Truffles throughout the day which was fantastic and it kept my mind at rest as this was the first time Truffles spent time away from home. When my husband picked her up he said that Truffles was so happy, excited and looked as if she had a fun day out. You can certainly see that Andrea and Pat are animal lovers and its just not a business. They are very flexible and will try their upmost to accommodate needs. The amount of land the dogs have to run around in is amazing, plus they offer other services too. Before I left Truffles at doggy day care, I visited Andrea and Pat and they were really welcoming and gave me all the time I needed to ask questions etc, I never felt that anything was too much for them. I also looked at the kennels/facilities which are fantastic. I certainly would use Gartcloss Kennels if I ever had to leave Truffles for a long length of time. Would I recommend them? Its a big fat YES!
Kaya appeared to have had a great experience in her 1st stay in kennels. Made loads of new doggy friends too. Kennels were clean, heated and appeared cosy. Regular updates from staff put my mind at rest, could see from the photos she was having a great time. Shell be back.
I have a lovely rescue statue, Begbie, she is terrified of getting her nails cut to the point that for over a year I have only attempted to have them done once. Then I saw this kennel popping up on my Facebook and I thought I’ll give it a go. What can I say! It was fantastic, they are flexible to your dogs needs, the facilities are simply stunning and their knowledge of dogs is invaluable. I got some advice on how to keep Begbie’s coat shinny 👌 Definitely a hidden gem, absolutely recommend this kennels and would most definitely will come back!! 🙌💕🐶
