We feel beyond lucky to have had someone as amazing as Allyson look after our beloved cavapoo Jeremy over Christmas. As this was our first time using TH and the longest we’ve ever left Jeremy, we were feeling a bit nervous. But after meeting Allyson, who’d kindly agreed to come stay with us for a few days before our trip so she could get to know Jeremy, we were immediately put at ease. She is kind, easy to get on with, thoughtful, caring, generous and all round great company. And she was incredible with Jeremy – by the time we left to go on holiday, he was clearly already very attached to her. The daily ‘Jeremygram’ updates she sent us were hugely appreciated – thoughtful messages about what they’d been up to that day, lots of cute photos of them playing together, park visits, etc. We felt we could properly relax knowing Jeremy was in such good hands. When we arrived back, the place was spotless, and Jeremy (who does have a bit of separation anxiety) was totally at ease. Saying goodbye to Allyson felt emotional – we knew Jeremy was going to miss her, and so would we! We only wish she was here for more time! We honestly could not have had a better experience and feel so grateful to have met Allyson. We really hope that she house sits for us again, we’d love to have her.
I loved staying at Sandra’s. The hens were super fun to watch and made delicious eggs. The cows were easy to look after. Had a lovely time!
This was one of my favourite sits I’ve done so far! Brigid was super helpful prior to and after my arrival - she gave me plenty of resources and suggestions for things to do and was always available any time I needed help or just to touch base. Her apartment is in a really great area and very convenient for popping out to do things with transit close by and it being centrally located. Abdul is absolutely wonderful!! 😊 He was the best company while I was working from home & always kept a smile on my face with his playfulness. Would definitely recommend this sit to anyone hoping to explore Dubai
We recently had the pleasure of looking after lovely bunnies ( Batman & Smudge) in a fantastic house located just meters from the beach. The bunnies were a joy to care ,friendly, playful, and well-behaved. The house itself was a wonderful place to stay, with its close proximity to the beach providing a peaceful and beautiful setting. It was the perfect location for both relaxation and enjoying nature. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would be happy to do it again. Thank you Alana & Tony for the opportunity!
I’ve had some fantastic sits and this one ranks easily among my favourites. Lisa is a friendly and very considerate host. Knowing that I would be arriving on a Sunday when there are no shops open, she made sure there were plenty of staples in the house to tide me over including some lovely local fresh produce. She left very clear, detailed written instructions, which is the key to a smooth sit for all parties, and was always available for any queries I had. She also set me up with a couple of her local friends to settle me in in her absence and give me some social connections. Now for the feline prince at the centre of it all: Stanley. What a cute, soft, cuddly big boy! He took to me in no time and we shared many winter cuddles. He was no trouble at all to take care of and I really enjoyed his company. Lisa’s house is gorgeous. It’s clean and light-filled and you can tell it’s been decorated and maintained with care. The views over Skopelos are lovely and the walk down to the port takes only five minutes (perhaps allow an extra minute or two for the walk back up 😉). The stepped streets of Skopelos are an explorer’s delight. I’d highly recommend this sit. 😻
We had a really good sit at Mark and Lynettes home. The dogs are affectionate and fun. We kept to their routine and had no problems. The hens were easy to care for too and our reward was fresh eggs each day. Their kitchen is modern with everything you will need and more. A cosy living room to relax in complete with wood stove and up stairs a comfy bed and large shower The views from the house are amazing and down the hill a village with a cafe that serves good food. We would definitely sit for them again.
The cats were great, no problems whatsoever and they do like to play. Unforeseen circumstances caused us to modify our period of stay but Todd was cooperative throughout. I would be happy to return another time if possible.
