House sitting this property has been truly the best! We have felt so relaxed, rejuvenated and calm here! The big trees, the fresh air and the land all create such amazing ambiance, it's like a reset for the soul. We also LOVED the dogs! Both Ellie and Levi are super loving, fun and great dogs! We felt like a family with them by the end of our stay and miss them already!
Sandy and George gave us everything we needed to successfully care for their lovely home and awesome cat, Mr. Boxer. Her Welcome Guide was comprehensive, their on-site orientation was sufficient, and their hospitality was superb. Their home and property is beautiful and comfortable, with visits from the wild turkey flock a wonderful bonus! George's office set up in the basement was perfect for my remote work--private and quiet. Wifi worked perfectly. The separate guest suite was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better sit experience and can recommend them as sit hosts without reservation.
Janet and Jay were very generous and thoughtful hosts. We really appreciated their warm welcome and the chance to explore such a lovely area in the Pacific Northwest. They have a very spacious home with lovely decor overlooking the river. We didn't spend anytime on their patios but in the right weather they'd be great. The dogs are both super sweet with an easy care and feeding routine. They will want to be at your side while you're home (they think they are lap dogs!) and like to be up early. Thor may also need attention during the night (this was nightly while we stayed, but not normally an issue for him). The cats are both very easy going and like to play treat games and sneak past the napping dogs (hysterical!). Again, very easy care as they have run of the basement (separate from the main living area all on the main floor). The chickens are a nonstop source of eggs for breakfast with just a little bit of care daily. This sit would be really good for a family or couple that likes the outdoors (they are in a great location for exploring Mt. St. Helens, the seashore, and the Columbia River gorge) and exploring smaller towns (though they're close enough to Portland for an easy day trip).
Michelle & Fred are such lovely hosts and really easy communicating with! Piper & Harley are well trained and very sweet. The hardest part of the sit was leaving them behind in order to go enjoy the dock! It's a very quiet community and the neighbors are kind as well. John & I really enjoyed our time there!
We loved sitting with Oso! He’s a great dog, a great snuggler and a great communicator. He loved going on walks with us and loved our day trips too. But, he also did fine if we had to leave him for a few hours. Bonnie was great too! Considering she was around the world on vacation, she kept in touch with us and everything was in order at her house. Loved Oso and loved Golden. Would absolutely sit again for Oso and Bonnie!
I had a great time staying at Henrietta’s lovely home with Bugsy, Bronte and Bruno. A very Beautiful area with amazing views and great walks. Many pretty villages and historic places to visit. Henrietta made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. I would be happy to return for future sits.

My two cockers love going to Gordon & Laura's kennels. He's been looking after them since they were 6mths old and they're now 5. Never any problems getting them fitted in. Whether for a day visit or two weeks. They get picked up and dropped off, all at a convenient time. He supplies the food we feed and they're walked often. Lovely clean, heated kennels. Thanks guys
I have now used Station View on three occasions and would have no hesitation in recommending the services. Our rescue dog is very wary by nature but Gordon clearly knows dogs and has a calm and reassuring manner. I can't honestly say Elmo loves going to stay at kennels, but I'm confident when he is there, he is in caring and safe hands.
First time using kennels for our dog Callie who stayed with Gordon for 11 days and from booking we felt she would be in safe hands. Kennels are very well appointed and clean. When we picked her up it was clear she was happy and in good hands as she had eyes for Gordon and his team only. Awful for us but great for Callie, thanks to outstanding care. Callie cried on the way home but settled into her home easily. Thank you Gordon for all you and your team have done to look after our precious girl.
Our Dog Henry was at Station View Kennels for a week whilst we were on holiday. Would 100% recommend Gordon and the team. Henry seemed to have had a great time, and wasn’t that fussed about coming home! I think he has made a new friend 😂 A big thank you for the brilliant service and care of Henry it is much appreciated. Went to collect our dogs x2 dogs were smelling badly when came out of kennels , definitely to small for 2 large dogs , I know you will get a kennel smell but not like this was really bad , it’s like our dogs were kept in a lot of the times it’s unfortunate that you can’t see what goes on behind closed doors especially when your away , don’t think we will be back .
I am honestly struggling to put into words how highly I would rate Station View Kennels. We had a booking for 5 dogs for 16 nights whilst we were away on holiday, this was the first time we left our dogs but I can honestly say we will never use another kennels for our dogs. They were so well taken care of from the minute they were dropped off, and when we picked them up - they were so happy and ran back into the kennels! You can tell Gordon knows his stuff about dogs and really, truly cares about them. Unfortunately one of our dogs, Brodie, fell unwell whilst we were away and suffered a seizure which has never happened before. Gordon constantly kept us up to date about how he was recovering, as well as discussed the vet visit with us. Anyone who has left their dogs in kennels will know your biggest fear is when they fall unwell, unfortunately this happened with us but I honestly cannot praise and thank Gordon enough with how well he handled the situation. Truly the best care for our dogs & we will absolutely be booking again.

Absolutely first rate kennels, run by the friendliest person you’re ever likely to meet. We were staying in the area on holiday and as our two dogs are getting quite elderly we didn’t want to drag them around with us. Recommended by the campsite, we called Gordon and we’re lucky enough that he had some space. Quite simply a man who loves his job, and is infectiously cheerful, Gordon is a wonderful kennel owner. Our two dogs were glad to go back on the second day and Gordon was clearly very pleased to see them. We would not hesitate to recommend Station View Kennels or Gordon. I put my Rottweiler named bayley into Milrig kennels for five days. I was not sure how he would like kennels, as this was his first time in kennels. When I met the people who run the kennels I could see this was not just a business to them but, a passion to them. When I dropped him off I new he was in safe hands, which took a lot of worry from myself. An added bonus was the regular updates and photos on milrigs Facebook page where you could see your pet at regular intervals from anywhere in the world. This went a long way to help relieve any worry I might have had or guilt felling i had about putting him into kennels. Picked him up after holiday he was in as good condition as he had been when he went in the kennels. He is already booked in for another stay in May good kennels are hard to find this is one of them.
Milrig is amazing. My dog jj has had a few settling in days to prepare him for a two week stay. I can't rate the place highly enough. The staff are very kind and have a good understanding of what an owner expects when there dog is left in there care. Thanks to all the staff for there dedication.
Excellent kennels with lots of outdoor space for the dogs to run about. It's the only kennels my dog has been too, he enjoys his holidays too

Previously we have always relied on neighbours to look after our two house cats when we are away, and they've been fantastic, but now one of the cats has developed an issue which means he regularly wets the bed and bed medication, so the neighbours weren't comfortable with helping out, plus we got a gecko! Having reached out to a few cat sitters, I immediately got the best vibe from these guys. Contact and response time to messages was very quick, with clear communication, pleasant and friendly. They set up an appointment to come meet the pets before we went away too. And a big bonus was they can look after reptiles!! So it solved the issue of what to do with the gecko whilst we were away. They were clearly experienced not only with furry friends, but with reptiles and had really good knowledge, immediately putting my eldest son (the gecko owner) at ease on their visit, demonstrating they knew how to handle and care for her. For all the pets they took lots of notes and clearly were switched on to what we had told them as they followed our instructions very well. This is important as we've had cat sitters before who overfed the cats or left doors open to rooms they shouldn't have been in whilst we've been away. No issues like that at all with Bryan and his team. I was rather concerned about my cat with the bed wetting issue, as some sitters would be put off by an ongoing medical condition that isn't currently under control, but they were not thrown at all and looked after him perfectly. They even asked if it would be okay to run his blankets through the wash if he ran out, which he did, so I came home to freshly laundered cat bedding instead of a pile of bagged up peed on blankets! The cats were very relaxed when we came back too, showing that they had obviously had affection and attention when the cat sitters visited. I was concerned we may run out of live food (crickets) whilst we were away for the gecko, but they reassured me it was no issue to pick some up if the supply ran low. And because the crickets are live food, they even fed them as per our instructions whilst we were away! So really it was cats, gecko and crickets that they cared for! Throughout our trip we got sent photos on what's app (although the team checked beforehand if we wanted this, which we did!) of the pets so we could see how they were getting on. This included a few lovely videos :) I've attached some of the photos they sent to this review. At one point they were a little concerned because the gecko decided to fast so they called just to check in and let us know, but they were also able to say that based on their experience this fasting was probably related to her shedding and her vivarium getting quite hot during a heat wave day. (They monitored her temp well too.) Overall I cannot recommend We Love Pets Livingston enough. For the price you pay it is great value for money and left me feeling very reassured, from first contact, that this is a team you can trust with your babies. If you're looking for any kind of pet sitter I highly recommend getting in touch with these guys. I will certainly be using them for all future pet sitting we need!
It's been a year since we started using We Love Pets Livingston branch to walk our dog Hamish after our previous dog walker disappointed us. Bryan and his team are just amazing and so reliable! We don't know what we would do without them! I no longer go worried to work as I know that my boy will be looked after on his walks. I come home to relaxed, quiet and a happy dog. I get beautiful photos and a short message from each walk. Some of the photos were so amazing we got them framed :-) Thank you Bryan and your fantastic Team!! You are pawsome.. !!!
Just back from a nearly 3 week holiday in the USA.We recently got two BSH kittens and were very concerned about leaving them in a cattery. After looking at quite a few catteries our worries were confirmed, they were like tiny prison cells with no fresh air or daylight, many of them also dirty, noisy and smelly. No way would our fur babies be going into one of them! We decided to leave them in their own home and employ a company to come in daily to feed them, change the litter and keep them company. We struck gold with our eventual choice ("WE LOVE PETS"). Bryan and Isla were friendly, easy to deal with and charged a reasonable price. Our babies didn't even miss us. They did a great job of looking after them and treated our home with respect, but the icing on the cake was the daily WhatsApp reports, pictures and videos, Total peace of mind. I will use Bryan again next time we are away, and would have no issues recommending his company and services to family, friends or anyone who cares about the way their pets are looked after. A ***** company with a *****service.
Bryan stepped in at short notice to look after our rabbit Lexi. He was brillaint even giving her IV meds wirh such care. I wouldnt hesitite to recommend Bryan and will be using him again.
Bryan was excellent… exceeded all expectations! Was amazing with our husky who took to him immediately. He obviously has an affinity with dogs (our cats were happy too!) Professional, personable and absolutely would recommend him to anyone.
Bryan was amazing. We asked him to stop by the house for a few days and look after our cat while we were away. He was quick to respond to all messages, helpful and professional. He also has a way with pets, so our cat loved him. Would recommend his services :)
We had Bryan and Isla look after our four dogs while away in London for a surprise visit to our daughter, and what a great experience. Both Bryan and Isla are fantastic with the dogs and treated them with lots of love and care. They looked after our house and gave us daily, and minutes, updates so we were always kept informed on how the dogs were doing. I cannot recommend Bryan highly enough. Our two Rottie girls stayed with Bryan while we went away on honeymoon for 2 weeks. This was the longest time we had ever left them and I was very anxious about it. There was no need to be however, my girls had the best time, I’m not sure they even noticed we weren’t there tbh !! Bryan goes above and beyond to make sure the boarding experience is like a home from home. I would definitely use him again and I can’t thank him enough for the care, love and cuddles he gave the girls whilst we were away. Thanks again 😊
Bryan and his team are amazing. Really great communication from the word go. They only walk in small packs so know our wee doggy gets the personalised attention we would want. Bryan offers complete flexibility so can usually cover last minute requirements as well. If you’re looking for someone to take your floof ball for walkies then can’t recommend we love pets enough!
We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our dog now! We left our shih-tzu Brutus with Bryan for just over 1 week when we went abroad on holiday. From the point of first contact Bryan was very professional and his love for animals was clear. Bryan was quick to schedule an initial meeting so he could meet us and Brutus and allow Brutus to familiarise himself with where he would be staying. We have never had to board our dog before so we were very anxious but had absolutely no reason to be. Within the first few hours Bryan had sent pictures and updates reassuring us that Brutus was happy. It was clear throughout the week that our Brutus was having the time of his life which took a huge weight off of our minds. We can’t thank Bryan enough for being so fantastic with Brutus and caring for him so much. The regular updates and pictures were very important to us and Bryan did not disappoint with this. His great service starts long before you meet him and even after you’ve collected your beloved pet. Would highly recommend - as would Brutus who I am sure is waiting for his next holiday there!
Our Cockapoo Hudson has stayed with Jacqui on numerous occasions and this is due to the excellent boarding service. The first time I used the boarding service I was apprehensive about leaving Hudson but Jacqui put my mind at rest immediately and every day we were away she sent me videos and pictures of Hudson on his walks. Hudson enjoys his stays so much so we wondered if he would want to come home 😀. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jacqui as she treats each and every one of them as if they were her own giving lots of love and attention.
A delayed review but we left our border terrier with Jacqui last year whilst on a family holiday, this was the his first time boarding and being looked after by someone who isn't family/friends. Jacqui kept us up to date every day with how he was doing through pictures, messages and videos, and he looked to be having a great time! She was very diligent before dropping him off to ensure that she had food he was used to, along with his bed and favourite toy. I would recommend Jacqui to anyone looking for boarding as she will take the best care of their dogs!
I honestly believe our Labrador Skye has a better holiday than us when she stays with Jacqui!!! Coming out of lockdown I was so nervous to leave her anywhere whilst we went away - thank goodness I came across Jacqui and her 5 star service. She takes such good personal care of the dogs, they are treated as her own, very comfortable and cosy, allowed on the couch etc. They are walked daily and often along the beautiful Murieston trail which is on the doorstep of the house - Jacqui sends regular video clips and photographs of these adventures - so we can relax whilst away, knowing that Skye is happy and safe. I honestly wouldn’t send her anywhere else now, we’ve become regular customers and trust Jacqui 100% - the only problem being how far I need to book her services in advance! Thank you Jacqui for another wonderful stay!! X
My dog Bonnie had a lovely holiday at K9 Friends over two weeks. As a very active working cocker spaniel, kennels wasn’t an option for her and Jacqui’s home boarding service provided a fantastic alternative. Bonnie had great walks, lots of human interaction and I got daily updates, photos and videos to reassure me she was fine. I’m happy to recommend Jacqui’s services.
I was fortunate to come across Jacqui at K9 Friends after being let down elsewhere, and I’m so glad I did. Jacqui runs a fantastic business with excellent facilities, daily walks and an amazing large back garden. She cared for our dog in November for a couple of weeks while we were on holiday. Jacqui provided daily updates with videos, messages, and photos, making it clear that our dog had settled in wonderfully and felt right at home. It was reassuring to see him so relaxed and happy. He certainly had a fun-filled and fabulous time. K9 Friends is such a great find, and we will definitely be using Jacqui’s services again in the future. 10/10 service Highly recommend Friendly, professional, and genuinely caring.
Our Labradooodle Annie had a seven night stay with Jacqui. It was the first time we had used a boarding service and I was apprehensive about leaving her. I needn’t have worried as Jacqui put my mind at rest immediately and every day we were away she sent me videos and pictures of Annie on her walks and enjoying herself. Annie seemed to have enjoyed her stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jacqui to look after your precious pets.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience leaving our dog with Jacqui for the first time for 10 days! From the start, her clear and precise communication, along with regular video and photo updates, made us feel so reassured. It was evident she truly cares about her furry guests! Her focus on dog safety is commendable, especially with up to four dogs at a time. Our pup came home not just well-exercised but also content, having obviously followed a fantastic routine that kept him happy, safe, and engaged. In fact, he was a bit sad on pickup day, which shows just how much he adored his time with her! We wholeheartedly recommend Jacqui to anyone looking for a warm, nurturing boarding experience for their beloved pets. She’s a gem, and we can’t wait to return!
Rusty went to Jacqui for his first proper groom and I was really impressed with her. You can tell she absolutely loves the dogs in her care and gave me lots of useful advice as a first time dog owner. In fact Rusty dived out the car the next time we took him up to her. Rusty is not keen on being groomed but he feels relaxed with Jacqui and he always looks so handsome when he comes home.
We were very naturally worried and apprehensive about leaving Hamish but we shouldn't have been, he settled immediately and we left to go on our hols feeling reassured he would be fine. Jacqui is brilliant and very much loves her job and the dogs she boards. The daily updates and videos are lovely to receive. Our Hamish had the best time and enjoyed his holiday as much as we enjoyed ours. I would not hesitate to use K9 friends again and highly recommend Jacqui. Huge thanks for taking such good care of our boy Jacqui ❤️
Our Max is judt back from Julie's and I have to say he was so well looked after. They absolutely adored him and we weren't worried at all. Julie gave us loads of updates, Pictures and video of max her daughter and husband were fantastic with him. Would definitely recommend Julie and would send max to her as well...
