Mel and Rob paid us a very welcome return visit to look after Jack, our working cocker spaniel, our two cats and our house while we had a lovely time with family. They are just wonderful housesitters. On our return, Jack looked so at home with them both; they gave him lots of walks and took him along whenever they were out and about. They also took very good care of the cats, and the house was looking as good as when we left it, if not better. I would recommend them as housesitters without reservation. Kirsten and Chris were outstanding house and cat sitters, during our recent 11-day vacation. They were easy to communicate with and reached out to us a few days prior of our vacation to reassure us that they would arrive on time. They surprised us with their generosity and kindness when they offered both to drive us to the airport and pick us up at the end of the trip. While we were away, they stayed in touch with regular updates about the house and our cats...which we greatly appreciated. They also joyously shared their explorations of the Seattle area. Seattle was hit by an unusual snow storm and they quickly contacted us to make sure that they were covering all of the bases to keep our house and outdoor plants safe. Every single thing that Kirsten and Chris did from the beginning to end of their stay showed great care, responsibility and attention to detail. They definitely helped us feel comfortable with them and their abilities to handle anything that could come up. Because of this, we were able to completely relax and enjoy our time off. When we returned, we could immediately tell that our cats were very happy and that the house was totally clean. Before they left, Kirsten and Chris surprised us with a beautiful "Thank You" card and a cute kitty bag filled with gifts from Canada. We would love to have them sit for us in the future and we would absolutely recommend them to you for your sit! We now consider Kirsten and Chris our friends and we hope to meet them in Canada sometime in the near future.
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?

Stacy is a lovely caring person. I can't imagine what happened to Mr. Fisk to rate Primrose Lane so poorly. I've brought my dog to Stacy for 7 years and have been so happy to have found such a wonderful place to bring my dog. I can relax when I'm away knowing he's safe and in loving hands.
I have boarded my dogs with Stacy for years. They have had excellent care and there is no extra charge for medications. With respect to Mr. Fisk, all I can think is that there are two sides to every story.
STRONGLY recommend you use any dog boarding facility but Primose Lane Dog Boarding!!! Our experience was HORRIFIC!!!!

Sirius Pet Care is a great, independently-owned dog-walking and boarding company. They also do cat sits at your own home. From what I have seen, they are a lot more personal and loving to their clients' pets than a lot of the other companies tend to be. What's more is they are priced very competitively. If you are looking for someone to take your dog to the park on a regular or semi-regular basis and/or you need boarding for your dog while you are out of town, or you need someone to take care of your cat while you are away, I would SERIOUSLY recommend SIRIUS Pet Care. I mean, the name alone is brilliant... (The Dog Star is called Sirius, right...? Brilliant.)
A truly wonderful option for dog sitting on Bainbridge! Our 6 year old boxer mix stayed for a week and we had such a great experience. Zoraida was really flexible with us and our schedule, she had a thorough chat with us ahead of time to understand our dog’s needs/behaviors/quirks, and was very communicative throughout the stay. Our pup’s needs were taken care of and she got a lot of love and attention throughout her stay. Honestly was more than we could have hoped for! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe and reliable dog sitter.

Excellent experience. We have 3 dogs, including two seniors, and it can be hard to find a place with availability that also gives plenty of attention and care to each dog. Zoraida was the perfect match. Great communication and gave each of our dogs plenty of exercise, love, and attention. The kennel set up is spacious and cozy. Our dogs loved running around the huge yard, and the 6' perimeter fence was perfect for our youngest pup who loves to jump lower fences. They clearly loved their time there and came home nice and tired, and can't wait to go back next time.

Our dogs often go with us on travel adventures, but sometimes, because of their busy schedules, they aren't able to accompany us on certain trips, like when we toured Italy for 2 weeks. Genuine caring for your furry friends. Kate gives individualized attention and gives each pet attention daily. My pets were much more calm (I believe) because they felt taken care of.
