My stay in London was so wonderful, I could not thank you enough. They made me feel at home from the first moment, everything was easy and the communication was great. Marimo stole my heart, the first days she was hiding but we ended up sleeping together and she was a great support for me (I cried a lot when we said goodbye). The house is perfect and is in a wonderful neighborhood, I slept on a futon for the first time and now I want one for my house because it is very comfortable. I highly recommend spending a few days here, although I assure you that you will miss Marimo a lot afterwards, because she makes you love her a lot. I am already looking forward to coming back 💖

Pepper was such a sweetheart and pleasure to sit! She’s full of energy, cuddly and put a smile on my face every morning :-) Sithara’s place was beautiful and perfect as well. Close to Prospect Park so Pepper and I got to go on lots of nice walks enjoying the scenery. The apartment has everything you could need, is accessible with elevator, quiet, cozy and beautifully furnished. Sithara was also extremely helpful with putting together a list of anything I or Pepper might need. Overall an amazing stay and I hope I get the privilege of sitting Pepper again ❤️
What a great pet sit. Sophie is a beautiful Ragdoll cat. She really has personality and I found myself chuckling with some of the things she did-like trying to turn on the stove fan after watching me do it....so smart. As like many cats, she took a while to warm up but by the end she was snuggling on the couch with me. She LOVES to get brushed. Trish and Kyle could not have been more welcoming and kind. So easy to deal with especially communicating before and during the pet sit. They are very chill and I felt very comfortable to text if I needed anything. Their home is stunning with all that you need (and then some). I was also pleasantly surprised how quiet it was given that it is in heart of Vancouver. The large private deck is so unexpected in the city. The whole thing was very peaceful and I had a hard time to leave. I kept thinking,”Ok, I'll leave in 15 minutes....” The location of their home in the West End of Vancouver is close to grocery, shops, restaurants etc and about a 5 minute saunter to the water. A 30 minute walk along the waters edge, called the Seawall, to reach Stanley Park, a world renowned national park. Transit is close and getting to and from the airport a breeze. It's the perfect pet sit if you want to just relax and or take in all that Vancouver has to offer while spending time with a beautiful cat full of personality. If you have an opportunity to pet sit here I highly encourage you to take it. I would definitely come back-hint, hint :-)
Thanks to Kimberly for entrusting me with her home and babies. Dumpling bonded with me quickly while Noodles took a day but soon, they were both cuddling and sleeping next to me on the bed. Dumpling loves hiding in the closet; meanwhile Noodles parties it up with a little catnip! They spend hours playing together and are easy to take care of. The toilet training is going well. The apartment is ideally located in Chinatown, steps away from cheap but delicious eateries and public transportation. The unit is clean with a premium bed. It was easy to communicate with Kimberly and provide photos/updates via WhatsApp. I encourage cat and city lovers to apply!
I had a fantastic time staying at David and Kate's place, they were super hospitable and it was a joy to spend time with them. Their Jack Russell, Jimmy, was great fun to look after. Together we ventured to lots of different places and he loved walking and was very obedient and easy to put on the lead when needed. Their home and garden is beautiful and wonderfully comfortable, positioned on a quiet and friendly street. Communication was easy and the whole experience made my time in Devon really special. I have no hesitation recommending Hounds of the Anston Hills. Jess and Harry are beside themselves every time they see Karen, not only do they adore their walks, but I have the peace of mind knowing they feel happy and comfortable with her while we’re both at work. Recently a family emergency meant the dogs were potentially home alone all day, it only took one text message and Karen was on her way round to let them out on the garden, feed and water them. You only have to meet her once to know how professional and trustworthy she is, and how much she loves and cares for dogs.
Karen looked after our 3 cats while we were away on a short trip and did an excellent job. Nothing was too much trouble and she even posted photos on Facebook so we could see how they were doing as well as giving us peace of mind. A Good, Honest and Reliable service all round. Thanks Karen.
Karen has been wonderful with our 9 year old Jack Russel, Connie. Connie had only ever stayed with family and can be quite anxious but we are so glad we found Karen. Connie is so well looked after and she loves all of her doggie friends. She has been going there for around 6 months and had recently had a 10 night holiday. Karen keeps in contact with us and replies to messages quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Hounds of the Anston Hills. Our Connie loves her Aunty Karen.
Karen is the best doggie babysitter you could wish for. She’s helped us enormously with puppy socialisation and lots of training tips. She’s helped us raise a confident well behaved pup. We have boarded our pup with Karen too. We were able to leave him and feel anxiety free knowing he was in safe and confident hands. I would highly recommend Karen and we hope to continue boarding with her for many years to come.
Our family has used Karen for both dog and cat sitting and also dog walking. She is amazing with the animals and is always happy to help out where ever she can. We have previously used kennels and/or a cattery thinking this was our only option - however Karen has showed us a better way to ensure that our pets are cared for lovingly during their holiday as well. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will absolutely be using again!

I have been bringing my dog to Croft farm for a few years. It offers an amazing and caring service within very comfortable surroundings with plenty of secure field space for the little ones to run around. My dog always has fun with other friendly dogs and he sleeps extremely well after a visit to Croft Farm. The price for this brilliant service is extremely affordable and beats surrounding service cost within the area.
Martha’s first time here today, a trial run for her short stay in July. Martha was happy and relaxed when I went to pick her up, she was playing in the garden with all her new furiends! Sally is an absolute godsend! We’ve left Dexter with family when we’ve been away before and always felt slightly anxious about whether he’d be bored (naughty), sad or eating something he shouldn’t be. We left him with Sally and Mark for a week and didn’t worry about him once. She provides regular updates and photos, lots of attention and walks. When he came home he was absolutely exhausted from making so many new friends! You can tell how much they both truly love dogs and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. All 3 of us (dog and parents!) can’t wait until he can next visit Auntie Sally again.
I moved our Cocker Spaniel Molly to Sally and Mark from Day Care because I wanted a bit more flexibility. I could not have made a better decision, should have done it sooner. Molly absolutely loves her walks and cannot wait to get through the door when Sally arrives. Sally has been very helpful taking Molly daily at short notice to help out. I cannot praise her enough and absolutely know that Molly is a well cared for happy dog whilst in her care. I would now not go anywhere else.

My two dogs jack and billy have been going to sally now for the last two years. Sally does daily walks and also has my boys while we are on holiday. The service she offers is above and beyond. Jack and billy have always been happy and settled with her, and I could not ask for a more a caring and professional person. Her love for dogs is so clear to see.

If I could rate 10 stars I would Sally and Mark are absolutely fantastic with Teddy. A home from home just what I wanted right on our doorstep. Wouldn't take him anywhere else. Only problem is he may not want to come home as he has such a great time. 😊

Really good doggy day care and boarding. Lara and her partner took very good care of my rescue dog many times including overnight. He is a bit nervous with new dogs but Lara had him playing off leash with the others within minutes every time. She is very experienced, confident and cares about dogs. She was also very friendly and accommodating to me which I really appreciated. My dog liked her, enjoyed staying with her and would be pooped when he came home because he played so much. She is also open at the weekends which is very convenient.
My dog loves Lara! He gets so excited every time were on our way to drop him off it's incredible, especially as he's super attached to me and has separation anxiety. He's become more confident and playful with others dogs since coming here too. Lara is a very warm and caring person and it shows in everything she does. I love the photo updates too!

Lara took care of our family dog Lilly during our half term visit to the Peak District and she was amazing! It was last minute and she was very responsive, saving our holiday when the weather forced us to indoor activities for a few days and where couldn't bring the dog. She took great care of Lilly, making sure she had loads of exercise and even came home clean (it was very muddy given the weather!). Thank you so much Lara, we'll certainly be in touch again whenever we come back to the area!
Our Red and White Setter absolutely loves going to Lara, I think she’s disappointed to come home when I pick her up! We get updates and photos and I feel 100% confident in Laras’ ability to cope with all her funny rescue-dog quirks. Often we text Lara at the last minute and she’s able to accommodate us, I couldn’t recommend Life on Paws more highly!
Lara was fantastic at looking after our puppy Harvey while we welcomed our baby to the world. We were sent regular updates from walks and what he had been up to throughout the day with plenty of pictures which was lovely. Even asking for a couple extra nights stay was no problem and accommodated easily as well as extra precautions being made in case baby arrived in the middle of the night. All in all excellent service and Harvey will be sure to visit again.
We left Ralph (our 4 month old pul) with Lara for 11 nights which we were initially anxious about as it’s hard to leave your pup with anyone you don’t personally know. Lara straight away put our mind at ease. Every day we had updates and photos, he clearly had a great time and I’d recommend Life On Paws to anyone. Thank you.
I don’t usually leave reviews unless the business is extremely poor or exceptionally good. I was gobsmacked to see someone had left Anston Kennels, in my mind an unfairly poor review so I thought I’d leave my review. I have been using them for a while now for my two German Shepherds, I have used a few kennels before, and then someone recommended Anston to me, I thought I would give them a try, my dogs love it here, on the journey, when they realise where they are going they start to get excited. They share a kennel and exercise together, I would not send them anywhere else now, the staff are really friendly and get to know you and your dogs, I just say their name when booking, not mine, and they know who they are talking to. Having our own business, I know that one bad review can stand out more than a hundred good ones. Keep up the excellent work Anston, don’t let one out of many satisfied customers get you down.

My dog spent a week at Anston at the beginning of the month and it’s taken me a little while to write anything up due to how upset I was due to the outcome of her stay. Upon collecting my dog, the owner of the kennels greeted me at his back garden and pointed me towards the reception without letting me know how it’s been. Getting into the reception area was quite shocking. It was a warm summers night and every dog was kept in what looked like a cage with no outdoor space. This struck alarm bells in me instantly. My dog eventually came down the corridor after almost 5 minutes of being told she was ‘coming’. Her harness wasn’t clipped on, the worker told me ‘she’s difficult to get into it’. This doubled up with the fact that she had put on quite a bit of weight just leads me to believe she hadn’t been walked properly or followed instructions as I had made it very clear my dog has quite severe anxiety around other dogs. Upon getting her home, she smelt unclean and had scabs all down her legs. When I tried stroking her, she cowered her head in fear as though she’d been hit. Adding to this, for about 4-5 days after her stay, she was sick and had a really bad stomach, not being able to keep anything down. I’m unsure as to what happened to my dog during her stay but one things for sure, she will not be staying at Anston again

First time sending our puppy to a kennels and he loved it. The booking process was easy, dropping off and picking up easy too. It was clean and they asked all the right questions of what our dog would need. He wqs exercised and they gave updates when we asked. We will defo be back.

It was great to see photos of him playing in the paddock and they replied to my emails quickly whilst we were away. The owners and staff are really friendly and do treat each animal as their own. Been to a few kennels which were bad but anston kennels is the best by far. My dog always comes out happy so I know he's enjoyed it there. So I would highly recommend this place if you want your dog looked after properly.

Really lovely place, we were nervous to leave our rabbits given how fragile they can be to stress but needn't have worried. We got updates and photos whilst on holiday and the 2nd time we used Rose Lodge we were confident they would be just fine. The lady who runs it is lovely and showed a genuine interest in our pets. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend. The best in Yorkshire! Want your furbabies to be treated like they were staying at Grandma's house? Look no further! I left both my boys with Becky (first time apart from them). I think they came back in better conditions than I left them in 😂. She provided me with updates and even let me use a cage of hers as I didn't dare risk taking my apart. Rose Lodge was the most recommended in Sheffield and I now see why. Not only is Becky a lovely and amazing person in general but her care and love for animals goes beyond. The moment I met her all fears left me and I knew my rattos were in great hands. In fact the entire holiday I didn't worry once. It was like leaving them a family member. Can't thank you and your partner enough. The boys send their love as do we! Won't even have to think twice about using you again! 🐀❤️
My 3 bunnies stayed here whilst I went on holiday. I was apprehensive at first but Becky put my mind at ease when I had a look around the premises. I received regular updates whilst I was away and feel that my buns were looked after very well. I Will definitely be using this service again.
Becky was fantastic with our rabbits. We felt very comfortable leaving them with her and it was so lovely getting photographs of them enjoying themselves while we were away.
I was very nervous to leave my bunny as I'd never left him before but becky put me at ease straight away, answering any questions I had. Hand over was very friendly and professional and becky offered me lots of reassurance allowing me all the time I needed. I was given daily updates with videos and pictures of David enjoying his holiday home, and becky replied swiftly when ever I was asking questions or just missing my boy and wanting to know what he was upto. Amazing friendly affordable service. I've recommended becky to everyone I know with a small animal and won't hesitate for a second to book David a little holiday of his own in the future.
My cat spent a month here when I went to Australia and I think she loved it. They looked after her well and were reasonably priced. I would recommend them whole heartedly and won't hesitate to take Jess back if I go away again.

If you are looking for amazing dog care, then Pawfect Escape is the place to go. Alex provides excellent home from home care, and goes above and beyond to make sure both dogs and owners are looked after. Our dog Benny has been to Alex on a number of occasions now and absolutely loves it. He can’t wait to get there. During our 2 week holiday last year, we got photographs, messages and videos everyday letting us know how he was getting on, which really helped us to have a worry free holiday. Alex takes them on lovely long walks in the surrounding countryside each day too. She really does love the dogs in her care and looks after them as her own. She is very knowledgeable and easy to get on with. 5 star service and would highly recommend to everyone. Thank you Alex for looking after Benny so well.
Archie was 4 month old when he first started staying with Alex on a daily basis whilst I was at University. He became part of a pack of dogs instantly and would be so excited on route to Alex’s house each morning. I would receive numerous amounts of pictures throughout the day, giving me a sense of ease that my baby was happy. I have been on several of the walks with Alex and her dogs and can honestly say that a dog could not wish for anymore. The walks are fun and stimulating, and always tailored to suit the dogs. Archie has also boarded with Alex and Mia whilst we went on holiday in 2018. He was well looked after and enjoyed his stay. Especially because he was able to sleep upstairs, which was a home from home experience.
We looked for someone who could give our dog the daily off lead exercise he needed and Alex delivered that in spades. We were given daily photo and video updates and could clearly see he was having fun with the other dogs in Alex's care. We would unreservedly recommend Alex for looking after your dog.
I have been leaving my dogs with alex for over a year now she is absolutely amazing with them. We go on our holidays without having to worry about them whatsoever. We always get updates and pictures and the dogs love their time there. if you like your dogs in a home from home environment this is the place for you Alex is such a lovely lady who is very knowledgeable on dogs and takes them on fabulous walks in the local countryside. my old Yorkie Lilly who is diabetic and now needs insulin shots twice a day was in great hands on our recent holiday.
Words cannot describe how excellent Alex is. Has been so amazing with our 6 month puppy. When he has taken ill she's gone through the effort of supporting us, feeding him, buying him toys and building his confidence up to be the puppy he deserves to be. The effort Alex puts in is incredible my dog is always tired and he can't wait for his return!read the first sentence again. I shall say no more
Kipper our sprocker has boarded with Alex at Pawfect escape when we go away on holiday. He also has weekly doggy day care and loves it, he cannot wait to get out of the car when I pull up outside to drop him off on the long days I work The things that gave me confidence from the beginning was initially an invitation to visit just to see if he liked it and that he fitted in with the other dogs. Alex also asked for vaccine cards etc and ensured I had pet insurance She sends me photos too when he’s been out on walks, which is lovely. Christmas time he had more gifts under the tree than me .. the bulk bought by Alex at Pawfect escape .. he’s one very happy dog. As owners of an extremely energetic dog we are very pleased with the care he receives .. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pawfect escape.
Excellent doggy care, left our springer spaniel and he was extremely well looked after. Alex was amazing with him and kept us updated every day with stories of what they had been up to and photos of their days. It was brilliant to go away and know your pet is in great hands and not have to worry. Would definitely recommend he even came home with a present which was awesome.

Don't do it or be careful. I used to think alot of this kennel but now I think they are rip off merchants, charging for 2 days stay, 2 days food surcharge, 2 days of 2 walks a day, 2 days x 2 meals a day for less than 24 hours care 13.00 until 09.30 next day is a rip off especially when received less than half of that care. Really needs a clear check in and check out time for the price that is stated and agreed
We cannot praise and recommend Jaycliffe Kennels enough. The team have provided us exceptional service which we cannot fault. We have been in the unusual circumstance of needing long-term dog boarding as we relocated to Australia with work. Due to work requirements we had to move earlier than our dogs were able to fly and due to Australian animal import requirements our dogs could not fly out until 6 months after receiving their vaccines etc. We did not have any family or friends who could help look after our dogs during this 6 month period, however we have been so lucky to have found Jaycliffe Kennels. Our dogs are very much part of our family and it was extremely difficult to leave them, in fact we have never left them in a kennel for even a single day before. Jaycliffe understood our situation and provided 6 month boarding at a very reasonable price, but also high quality care. We received regular updates with photographs and videos so we could see how well the dogs were doing. They looked clean, healthy, and happy throughout their entire stay, and had regular walks and secure play outside. They also had the exact food we requested as this suited their diets. Jaycliffe also took the dogs to vet appointments we prearranged to ensure they had their final blood tests and treatments to be allowed to fly out to Australia. The team ensured the dogs met their appointments at no extra cost and they provided us updates following the appointments.
Left my dog here for the first time and she clearly enjoyed the experience. She came home after her 10 day stay clean and well fed, showing no sign of having missed the family!
Had no problem settling our cat back into home like after being here. Polite, friendly and pleasant! Cat pens have good space and encourage playtime. Will use again
My dog has been here twice now and always comes away happy. All the staff are very friendly and the pets are well looked after have plenty of exercise and lots of fuss.
I regularly use Jaycliffe for both boarding and grooming , all the staff are caring and attentive and always give lots of cuddles to my dog would highly recommend to anyone have been using for quite a few years now and wouldn't go anywhere else thank you to all the staff and i love the reg pup date photos while im away
I would highly recommend this kennel. The owner and staff are really friendly and helpful you could not ask for more for your beloved pets. They have just helped me through a very difficult time, at a minute’s notice they accommodated my 4 Labradors when my home was flooded in October. No fuss I just took them. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended my dogs will never go anywhere else to be cared for. All back home now and as happy as they were before they went.
First time I have used Jaycliffe for my German Shepherd, Ghost. I was naturally worried, although Ghost has always enjoyed the kennel experience. He was totally fine. Came home happy. The staff were lovely and friendly. Highly recommend.
