We've had many housesitters and Francois and Mariana are the best of the best. They are true professionals. We were so lucky to have them housesit for us and our cat and dog. They were confident, calm, and attentive with the pets from the first minute they walked in the door. It was very clear that they are extremely sensitive to animal needs and "communication", so they were closely attuned to what our pets were feeling and what they needed. For example, our dog gets agitated about us leaving and Mariana talked to her and petted her quietly as we got ready - eventually, the dog was lying down calmly as we walked out the door (this never happens!!!!) As housesitters and as people, they are also wonderful, trustworthy, and attentive. It was clear from their updates that they not only read, but thoroughly studied and understood all the instructions in our detailed welcome guide. They are also friendly, respectful people who were extremely responsive, always available when we checked in and ready with a little story about what they and the pets were up to. They were scrupulously on time to start and end the sit, even though we asked them to arrive at our place at 6 in the morning!! The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the pets were happy and relaxed. Our animals were very clearly in amazing hands. The dog was well-behaved after their stay (usually she has a bit of a backslide in bad habits during extended stays with others, but not this time!) and even the cat seemed much happier than he usually does when we come back from a trip. There is no better feeling as a pet owner - that your house sitters truly understand AND care deeply about your babies. We are so happy to have had Francois and Mariana as our housesitters, and we truly hope to meet or have them sit for us again. PS They even sent us the most delightful video they had created showing the pets' adventures during the week. In short, they are the best!!

Ioana and Daniel were a pleasure to interact with, from start to finish. We video conferenced with them when they were in Nepal and they seemed ideal. They were. They were reliable and responsive. Justyna was awesome. She was even more organized than I was and super flexible. I had to leave early in the morning and she agreed to come the afternoon before for an introduction and a handover. She is super sweet and very dedicated to animals. She asked relevant questions about care of my pet and gave me updates according to my request. The house was clean and the plants taken care of as well. I would without doubt have her back.

Amelie has just looked after our two rescue dogs for the last ten days and we couldn't have been happier. We got lots of updates whilst we were away, including many videos and pictures, which we loved. As a trained dog behaviour person Amelie also did some training with Roxy whilst we were away and gave us some tips with her. Amelie's own dog Pebble was also a delight and he played beautifully with my dogs and is a very well behaved young dog. We would thoroughly recommend Amelie to look after anyone's pets. Thank you Amelie, it is so lovely to go away knowing your pets are in good hands.

We can thoroughly recommend Urs as a house and dog-sitter. We have a rescue dog with a high prey drive and Urs was very calm and relaxed around her and prepared to be firm with her if she encountered a cat or squirrel. Urs arrived punctually with us the day before our departure and took on board all the information I, as a nervous pet parent, left for him. While we were away he let us know each day, with some pictures too, that they were both ok, and I'm glad he got to see some of the local area too. It was an exceptionally hot time of the year, but Urs ensured Maisie was safe from the heat. When we arrived home the house was extremely clean and tidy and Urs gave us a de-brief before heading home himself. We very much enjoyed meeting Urs who has a lovely personality and really enjoys travelling and house sitting. Most importantly, we felt able to totally relax knowing Urs was looking after everything back home. 100% recommend.

Rebecca took great care of my elderly dog / cat. They were happy as evidenced by the many lovely pictures / updates that were sent frequently. The house was well cared for also, coming home to a clean house after a stressful day of travel is always such a nice thing. She was pleasant company while staying and overall had great respect for the house and our instructions. Our pets were clearly well cared for and happy and it was so easy to coordinate and work with her on everything (as they have medicine, we have lots of plants, etc.). I would not hesitate to have her watch the pets again, thanks so much for the wonderful care!

Lola was simply fantastic. Our doggie, June, fell madly in love with her and has been a bit mopey after her departure so we are hoping she plans to visit us in the near future. :> Our chameleon who is never cozy with anyone except me found a friend in Lola and even came out of his perch to hang out on her arm so for us that was a true sign that Lola is indeed an animal whisperer whose special attributes extend not only to kitties and doggies but also to reptiles! Our house was spotless when we returned and our sheets were all clean and ready to go. All our animals were happy, well fed and as I said earlier completely in love with Lola. If we could give 10 stars in a 5 star review we would give them all to Lola. Pleasant, friendly, on time, reliable, conscientious, warm, caring---just the perfect pet sitter you could ever hope for.

This was our first 3 week pet sit.  This was Stefany's second sit for us.  It is a great fit.  We had no concerns about being gone from everything for that length of time.  Stefany's communication prior to arrival was prompt.  Her communication during our trip was fun.  Our re-entry back into our home was seamless.  We so enjoyed the extra time that she spent just to give us a high level of her time in Lincoln and with our dogs.  She also did a fantastic job of tending everything while we were away.  She even worked with our dogs to learn new tricks!  We ALL hope that she picks us again one day.  Thank you so much for picking us twice!

Lando and Luna are wonderful dogs! Smart, well-trained, energetic and playful, they listen well and took direction when needed. Lovely area of SLO, lots of fun places to eat and walk and a short drive to downtown. Also about 15 min to beach!

Staying here and taking care of Taco was absolutely lovely. She's such a sweet, affectionate and easy dog – I'm already missing her and it was hard to say goodbye! She's had surgery before, so walks/activities were limited, but as Taco loves to cuddle and stay by one's side I totally enjoyed spending time with her in the apartment too. She warmed up to me super quickly, though she can be anxious and at first may not be keen on leaving to go for walks – but treats help with that! One can clearly see that Taco is very well behaved and I think Fallon has an amazing relationship with her dog. Communication with Fallon was smooth and easy too. She also replied quickly whenever something came up.
The apartment is nice and clean and in a good location close to the S-Bahn. It was a pleasure to stay here and I can only recommend to do so if you get the chance.
