David and Barbara were outstanding! And beyond… They watched our two kittens and house for 11 days in November. When we returned home, the house was perfectly clean, sheets had been laundered and put back on beds, and the cats were healthy and happy, obviously cared for VERY well. They used the wood stove safely and sent pictures with updates regularly. Even though they had vehicle problems arriving, they made sure they were here on time. That was huge and much appreciated! They created a rhythm for letting the cats outside and watching them, which these cats needed. We would love to have them housesit again, and recommend them very highly.
This was a great sit!! Even though I didn’t get to meet the homeowners they were always just a message away. I had the privilege to spend some time with an amazing cat, Miss Mixie. I really enjoyed her company and she is such a loving cat. Josh and Sophie’s home was immaculate and beautiful. Loved being in Sale. There was lots to see and do nearby and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Thanks you guys so much for sharing Mixie and your home!! Til next time Allison
I had the wonderful opportunity to housesit for Mary and Christopher, and it was truly a delightful experience. Taking care of their lovely dog Mable was an absolute pleasure. Mary and Christopher's home is not only clean and spacious but also equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Mary provided clear and detailed instructions during the video call and walkthrough, which made me feel well-prepared to take care of both Mable and their home. Mable is a delightful pet with a playful personality. I had so much fun pet sitting her, especially playing tug of war and witnessing her enthusiasm for treats. Mable's intelligence and ability to understand commands made the experience even more enjoyable. Mary and Christopher are incredibly kind and welcoming individuals, and their well-appointed home exudes a cozy atmosphere. Taking care of Mable was a joy, and I would eagerly welcome the opportunity for a return visit. Overall, my time housesitting for Mary was absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend her as a host.
Brenna is a wonderful host with a comfortable and very clean apartment. The location is great, I loved Brooklyn so much that I didn't spend any time in Manhattan at all! The communication was excellent, Brenna even recommended places where I could watch people and dogs what is one of my favorite things to do when exploring new places. I highly appreciated all the yummy food she bought to make sure I wouldn't starve :). Jude spent most of the time sleeping in the sun, under the bed or on my laptop and wanted to be pet quite frequently. I recommend this sit to anybody who has experience with cats, can read a cat's body language well and doesn't mind Jude occasionally using his claws or teeth when playing or interacting with him.
Alice and her family are lovely people, they welcomed me into their home with a lot of love, they are a very quiet family! The cats are very friendly and easy to look after. The house is very comfortable and the person staying there will really enjoy it. Alice was very kind to me even though I didn't speak English very well. Thank you for everything! Everything was wonderful for our sit with Wriggly. Tom was a great host and communicated well with us. Great home, location and neighbors. Walking Wriggly 2x a day was 2nd to his wanting to play fetch in the backyard and the pool. He loves to run and jump and grab the ball all at once and repeat till he is done. The looks he gives are so precious, and he is so loving. We hope to add Tom in as one of our regulars and would sit for Wriggly anytime.
We had a great time looking after Sala and Bargie. They are very sweet dogs with a lot of energy. We loved taking them walking/ running in the beautiful countryside around Georgie & Vivs home. It was fantastic exploring the local area - thanks very much for letting us look after your home and dogs!
