We dogsit for Amanda and Louis for two weeks, looking after "petit" Lola. Amanda and Louis belongs to the friendliest people you can find on this site, and they make sure everything is ok with you. Lola is a little 12 years old very easy going dog. She loves being around and travelled with us to the beach and for some other adventures in Phuket. The house and location is very safe, quiet, modern and gorgeous, having a swimming pool to enjoy. We were provided a car, which enabled us to discover the best beaches of the island and have an experience living as a local or an expat, not a tourist. We were able to discover amazing places. We felt really lucky and privileged to be chosen by them for this housesit. Thank you so much! :)
Axl and Oliver were such sweethearts. They were really easy to be around and they enjoy their cuddles! It was so much fun swimming with them. Sean and Gina were both really attentive and checked in to make sure everything was okay. They made sure we knew the routine with their pups and made sure we knew where everything was at. They even connected us with emergency contacts. They went above and beyond. I would sit for them any time! 🤗
I had a lovely stay with Sophie in Woodinville. Sofie is a character; it took a couple of days for her to warm up to me, but was sitting on my husband's lap within 10 minutes of meeting him - lol! She's friendly & curious, & seems to prefer a steady & cautious approach at first, versus a playful scruffle. Once she's comfortable with you, she loves both playing with wand toys & sitting on your lap. And if you screw up, she'll let you know. Edie & Bruce were great, communicated well, & were kind enough to leave me a welcome card when I arrived. Their home is well located northeast of Seattle in the local winery area, close to town, but far enough to be relatively secluded. It would be a great place to stay in the summer, touring the wineries or further afield during the day & then enjoying their huge back yard in the evenings. They have a comfortable family room with a TV with a wide selection of subscription channels & provided clear directions on how to use the remotes. Happy to recommend.
I had a lovely long weekend looking after Mila and Jana. The sit was arranged just the weekend before, but Sharon provided all the information that was needed beforehand and she has a file of very comprehensive information about the house and the cats. I arrived the day before the sit began so Sharon and her husband could show me round and explain everything. They are a lovely couple who obviously love their cats. Mila and Jana were very easy to look after. They have the run of the house through cat flaps in every door, but I didn't see very much of them as Sharon had bought them little heat pads which she put on the window sill so this was the favoured place throughout the weekend - very cute! The area is lovely and very central. The street is quiet and has some interesting shops. Just around the corner is the main street with all its shops and restaurants. All the main sights are within easy walking distance. All in all, this is a highly recommended sit if you get the chance.
Absolutely wonderful experience sitting for Jennifer and her greyhounds, Joe and Dino. She was kind enough to invite me over a day or so early and gave me a really detailed orientation, which made me feel very at ease. Whilst away, Jennifer responded really swiftly to a couple of dog related questions, which again allowed me to be reassured and comfortable. In fact, Jennifer went above and beyond any home owner expectations and invited me to stay a day or two once the sit had formally finished, whilst I was between house sits, which just shows how kind and accommodating she is. I also had a lovely room, with en-suite, and Jennifer's house is a delight to be in, with all the mod cons you can think of. I would happily sit for the dogs any time Jennifer needed. Wonderful
We really enjoyed staying in Liz's comfortable home, and Yoshi was a delight to get to know and care for. We spent some lovely days exploring the area, particularly the wonderful coastline. Wish it was longer, and wish we had of met Liz. Would definitely recommend this sit!
