Alan and Katie are a young, active couple and delightiful hosts. From arranging the sit to departure, communicating with them was very easy. Their lovely home, close to historic Kilkenny, is very comfortable and with a large garden and a wood directly across the road, we had plenty of opportunities to exercise Riley and Sam. They are wonderful dogs and have a great rapport with each other. Riley is quiet and eager to run for his ball and Sam is boisterous and loving. We had a very relaxing stay, playing with the dogs and sharing the sofa with Sam. We would be very happy to return anytime. If you get a chance to sit for them, do accept.
Joy and Spencer were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We arrived the evening before our sit as they were leaving quite early the next day. Spencer showed us around the village (a very beautiful part of the world, with South Down walks right on their doorstep!). Joy cooked us a lovely meal too - they both made us feel so at home. The dogs - Gracie and Xanthe - were an absolute delight. Good as gold, very obedient and always up for lots of snuggles and play! We were so sad to say goodbye to them. We would love to house sit for Joy and Spencer again in the future.
My girlfriend and I were welcomed to Abi’s home with her 3 beautiful cats - who are no trouble at all. Abi was straightforward from the start regarding pet care, home care etc. Abi was also transparent during our phone call prior to the sit that she smokes - which of course we don’t mind as it is her home!
