Wow, we had such a grand time on this petsit! We had wonderful adventures with Finn and Sawyer who are the gentlest pets ever. We took Finn out locally and to the beach and woods and he was always a delight. Sawyer is more independent but came for headrubs whenever he wanted and to watch films with us in the evening. The other animals are lovely too: two funny, always hungry, goats, eight chickens and a duck. The amount of time needed to care for them is minimal thanks to Michel and Chris' excellent organisation, but we just loved watching the antics of the the two goats, two lovely little males who behave like Tweedledee and Tweedledum and often made us laugh; and we laughed and were moved in turn by Daisy's valiant efforts to fit in and behave like a hen, efforts doomed to failure as she is a sweet little duck with a funny look. If she had been a human toddler, we would have cuddled her, patted her on the back and cooed "there, there, it will be better as you grow up". As she is a duck with dignity, we didn't attempt it. She would have given us an outraged look. But what a lovely time we had in that little enclosure...and the feathered ones, give delicious eggs! Michele and Chris were ever so generous with us in so many ways, and their kindness has clearly been passed down to their animals. Their home is extremely comfortable and with lovely details to look at set in a beautiful garden too, so we often had to find a good reason to not just stay there all day. But there are in fact lots of reasons to go out: a short drive will take you to beaches, wine tastings, redwood forests plus Sebastopol has great restaurants and a special vibe especially on market days. Santa Rosa in the opposite direction has all the useful shops and services needed. We will be forever grateful to Michele and Chris for their trust and generosity and for giving us this fabulous opportunity to get to know the area and their beloved menagerie.
Organized spacious home in safe neighborhood. Friendly prepared host with easy to care for dogs. Great host.
Had a great stay at Leah & Eric's place - the house was in a great location in Seattle in a nice neighborhood and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Asker was super sweet and loved to cuddle and be pet. Great communication from hosts who were also very flexible with my stay. Had no issues and would stay again if needed!
Ericka was our second pet sitting experience through this app, and everything went smoothly from communication to meeting the overall expectations. The house was modern, spacious, and equipped with all the comforts one could ask for. Coco, the adorable dog, was an excellent companion for the Easter weekend. He's incredibly lovable and makes you want to spend all day cuddling with him. Additionally, he proved to be a great walking companion, enjoying our city strolls together. The two cats, Slice and Dice, were reserved and independent but still made an appearance once a day to greet us. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would love to sit here again in the future.
Matt and Lisa are excellent hosts. They have a lovely home, are great communicators, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We also LOVE their dogs. Teddy is the “leader” of the pack, but honestly just a big baby who is always chewing on a toy and looking for belly rubs. Nala is a bit shy at first, but definitely the sweetest. And lastly Evie, she’s still a baby, but you can already tell she is adventurous and a great addition to the family. For anyone who will pet sit for this pack in the future, get ready for 100000x doggy kisses lol. We would definitely house sit for Matt and Lisa again in the future, and we’re lucky to have had the chance to meet them. Thanks!
Jeff & Rustin were fantastic to sit for. Their dogs, Mona & Capote, are so sweet and very intelligent! They welcomed us with open arms, provided us with excellent accommodations and even took us out to dinner upon our arrival. We look forward to another opportunity to care for their home and fur babies in their absence. Larry and Janet Smith
