Beth and Matthew have been my first house sitters - and I was their first house sit too. Beth and Matthew have been great. I was a little nervous as this was the first time I've the zeewoi platform and service. Beth contacted me to let me know that one of my dogs had a sore on her chest and sent me a video to let me see and decide what to do. We agreed my dog needed to be seen by a vet and within a few hours my dog had antibiotics. Beth even popped into a shop to buy my dog a jumper to wear as the vet had recommended this to stop her scratching the sore. When I got home Beth had washed all their bedding and the house was clean and tidy. Both Beth and Matthew are a lovely couple and I would definitely recommend them both if you are looking for reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitters.
Erica was great! Easy to communicate with and very self -sufficient when we ended up being out of service for several days. Pingo and the house were clearly in good hands, we came back to a spotless house with a freshly made bed and a happy dog. We'd definitely have Erica again!
I am so grateful to Victoria for taking such wonderful care of my elder cats,, Zoe and Mischief, my home and my garden! She stayed in touch, and even sent photos of Zoe and Mischief, which further reassured me that my kitties and my home were in good hands while I was away. In short, I feel lucky to have connected with Victoria through zeewoi, wouldn't hesitate to call on her again, and recommend her without reservation.
This was my first time using zeewoi. Not only did I have to prepare my home for a guest but prepare myself for leaving my boys with someone I had only met through a zoom call. Right away, I was put at ease as Sharon just gravitated right to my boys. She asked questions about info that I had missed in my welcome pack that made me rest assured that she was on the ball. Throughout my trip, Sharon kept in touch with me about how the boys were getting along... I was so relieved hearing that their usual playful selves was apparent. Given that our flight home was going to be late, she insisted on waiting until we were heading out of the airport before leaving the boys with their last walk until we came home. When we walked through our front door, the boys were chilling out, our home was spotless, and she even washed the bedding. I can recommend Sharon with 100% certainty that your pets will be in great hands. Thanks Sharon for everything.
Jaclyn was a wonderful sitter for our dog Tucker! She was always quick to respond to communications, she was easy-going and excited to sit with Tucker, she shared updates (with pictures) while we were away, and she left our house cleaner than when we left - she even ran the dishwasher, which we forgot to do before we left! She and Tucker bonded immediately, and when we returned home it was clear that he had a great time with Jaclyn. We can't recommend her highly enough!
I can’t say enough good things about Felicia! She was willing to come over ahead of time so we could meet her. Lele took an instant liking to her (and I think it was mutual).😁 Felicia showed up on time, checked in on a regular basis while I was away, and sent photos of Lele, too. I tend to over prepare, and Felicia was accepting of that and helped me feel okay about my preparation and absence. I felt very comfortable leaving, knowing the most important thing, Lele, was well taken care of. This is my first time using zeewoi, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Felicia far exceeded all of my hopes and expectations. I would absolutely love to have Felicia come back again!
I am so glad that my cat, Duque, and I met Sharon! She is a wonderful person, very kind with pets, thorough with house care and communicative. Sharon's cleaning (and brownies!) went above and beyond and my cat did not seem to have missed me much when I got home. I recommend Sharon if she applies for your sit and we hope to welcome her back to our home one day.
Julie and Adrian were ideal pet and house sitters. Julie and Damian are very friendly and made sure to go over details and ask questions when they arrived. We came home to very happy and contented pets. Our dog and cat clearly got lots of love and attention (also clear from the great photos that Julie and Adrian sent us). The house was immaculate when we came home. We could not ask for better, more trusted, house sitters.
Although they are experienced pet sitters this was their first sit with zeewoi and they were wonderful. Jyoti (our cat) was completely at ease and spent plenty of time on their laps. The chickens were well looked after and they managed the broody one efficiently. Excellent communication before and during the house sit. They followed our detailed instructions conscientiously and left the house clean and tidy. They cooked a meal for us on our return and we enjoyed getting to know them. We would welcome them back any time and highly recommend them for future sits.
Lea was so wonderful, we highly recommend her. She was friendly and communicative throughout, sending us daily updates and photos. We returned back to a beautifully cleaned house and a very happy cat, we are so grateful- she was an absolute delight

I couldn't recommend Melissa more highly – she clearly loves cats, and is really great with our Boomer 😻. Reliable and trustworthy service, and always very responsive to messages. …
Melissa is a really friendly and a reliable pet sitter! Thank you for looking after my pet last minute when we went away.
Excellent service. Prompt responses to my messages. My cat Archie was looked after very well by Melissa.
Our dog was happily greeting one of theirs when the larger dog, under the control of the man, attacked my dog and bit him on the head. The man did not stop to make sure ours was okay or even apologise. I was shocked to then realise they came from a sign written van advertising "dog services" when they showed no care or consideration for the dog in his care or my dog. Numerous people who witnessed it stopped to check on my dog who was clearly distressed.
Lynsey has been looking after my dogs since she started up her business and loves them as her own. If you want a home from home dog boarding experience this is who you need. The walks are brilliant too as Lynsey and mark have no issue with dogs getting dirty and having fun! Thank you. X
Lynsey and Mark show my dog all the love and care I could wish for! They provide an efficient, reliable and incredibly supportive service. My pup loved having a stay over with them and has grown so much in confidence from going out with them for group walks on a daily basis. I can't recommend them enough!
I think what speaks volumes is that our dog Jasper would rather go for a walk with Lynsey and Mark, than us. Hahaha! Jasper practically wags himself into oblivion when he sees them. Lynsey and Mark have a really special connection with our canine friends. I've never met such a caring and professional team. Impressed from day one.
We've used these lovely people for 18 months now and are very happy with the care and attension they give to our dog Stella. Very accommodating , Stella loves her sleepovers and long walks. Thank yo so much to Mark and Lynsey.
My dog Poppy loves spending time with Lynsday & Mark, they are very professional & the dogs are always super happy. They go on amazing walks but the river, woodlands, parks. 5 * service
Mark and Lynsey have a true understanding of our two labs Izzy and Dora they never let you down and will turn out at short notice wind rain or shine they are very professional caring friendly and trustworthy our Izzy and Dora love them to bits
Our dogs love it there. Lyndsey and Mark are particularly helpful so grateful for them to be able to take them for us at the last minute.
I don’t easily trust someone with my dogs but absolutely do trust Lynsey and Mark. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Best doggy minding and walking service around. I never worry when I leave Bobby with Mark & Lynsey, I know he is in the best hands possible and he loves them x
Picked my Lab Chief up. at lunch time today , as we had all been to a family wedding and there was literally no one to have Chief for the night , he has not been here before obviously l looked round prior and my sisters dog goes there sometimes , the young lady Jasmine showed us round she was really sweet and answered my questions , other staff l met today on collecting him were very friendly and welcoming , they brought him out to me he was bouncy and happy 😊 l had spoken on the phone also to check how he had been they told me he had been fine ! Infact he was acting like he had been there before he was so comfortable .He had his own blanket to put on his bed and his own pillow also fluffy rabbit toy he likes and his own grain free food etc . Very happy with the care Chief was given and will be using these kennels again when l need to leave him knowing he’s in safe , caring hands Thank you Bilton Pet Hotel . See you next time Tanya and Chief Darwen . ❤️
I am always impressed by how well organised this kennels is. My dog returns clean, non- smelly(!) and happy. Staff are accommodating and flexible. I cannot recommend highly enough. It’s such a relief to find somewhere I can confidently leave my dog when we are away. Thank you!
Have used Bilton Kennels for years and never had an issue. Staff are always super friendly, very accommodating for last minute day care when needed and fairly priced. Our dog loves coming here, as soon as she realises where she is, we don’t get a 2nd look!
We left our dog with the Bilton Hilton for the first time for a two week stay and he came back happy and healthy and clean after a nice bath on collection day. This was a great relief when he had seemed anxious after stays in other kennels. We appreciated the free trial day which was offered two weeks before our trip. Friendly and caring staff and very reasonable prices. We have booked him in again.
Always reliable, we know our cats will be well looked after here. They never come home stressed or dirty which is more than can be said for others we have tried in the area. Staff always offer a friendly welcome and pay attention to the individual requirements of each animal - e.g. our lads are used to having a treat each evening which the staff were happy to continue for us to keep them comfortable. On our last visit policies had recently been revised to increase recording of pet care which is publicly visible in the accommodation - the idea being for consistency and transparency. My thought was that it was good to see ongoing efforts to improve an already excellent service. Prices are competitive and very fair for peace of mind. Update: sadly, in line with a change in regulations, cats can no longer be accommodated here. I do thank the staff for giving us peace of mind over the years and wish them well for the future.
3 stars is probably a bit harsh due to the fact I did not get passed reception. I also guess I just caught them on a bad day possibly. I went over from the camp site we were staying on hoping to book my dog in for day boarding as advertised on the website and also I was told by people on the camp site lots of people booked there dogs in for the great Yorkshire Show. I was hoping to book the camp site and one day boarding in 2023. The girl I spoke to looked busy and was a bit brash when walked in to the reception. She asked how she could help and as soon as I said a query I could hear her voice change as if I was preventing her from getting on. I said I wanted to enquire about day boarding. She quickly replied we are full. I said no not for now for next year. She then said yes we are full. Then she said we don’t do day boarding anymore. I then felt a bit frustrated because the web site said they did and so did the camp site. So I said your wed site says you do. She said well that changed week on week. I was going to say but this is for 2023 again but felt I would not get anywhere so gave up. I never even got the chance to say I would walk him first and he would just go to sleep for the rest of the day and wait for me. When I walked back over to the site I was going to book for the 2023 but that had thrown me. I mentioned it in the office and they were confused as they said plenty of people do day boarding. It’s a real shame as having a boarding hotel next to a campsite must be a licence to print money at times. I don’t have a clue what the hotel is like but first impressions were confusing. A quick change to the website would make a huge difference if they have stopped day boarding. Would save anyone there having to stop what they were doing to talk to an unwanted enquiry. Shame.
I called Imogen at Bilton Pet Hotel from overseas in the midst of a very difficult international move. Due to border restrictions and a variety of complications, our senior dog reached our destination almost two months ahead of our arrival! Imogen and her team worked with me to receive Jackson from the airline and they took excellent care of him while he awaited our arrival. Jackson takes multiple prescription medications, and Imogen made sure that he received them all consistently. She even went above and beyond to have him seen by a vet to resupply his prescription medications when he arrived without enough to see him through the duration of his stay. Imogen always responds promptly when I reach out, which made all the difference to set me at ease about the care of our cherished pet in the midst of our crazy move. We are now happily reunited with our dog, and we couldn't be more grateful to Imogen and Bilton Pet Hotel for delivering him back to us safe and sound.
I love the Bilton Pet Hotel. My two pugs go into the kennels and don't look back. They come home so happy. I had them bathed there on their last visit got them back today smelling wonderful. Thank you to everyone their for letting me go to work happy knowing my babies are well looked after. Xx😄😄 …
This was our first time using Bilton pet hotel. They had been recommended by a friend as the Bilton Hilton. We were very impressed with the staff who were very friendly. The premises were clean, smart and welcoming. The daily routine for the pets is smazing. Cuddle time! Piped music into the rooms. The fees are fantstic also. Our cat Garfield was a rescue Cat and we were a bit hesitant leaving him for the first time but when we collected him he was absolutely fine. We highly recommend Bilton pet hotel.
My dogs hate being boarded, but are wagging their tails when I drop them off at Bilton Pet Hotel. They come back happy and healthy every time. The staff are wonderful and flexible.
Was extremely impressed by the care and attention the staff gave to our dog during his recent stay. He had to be given eye drops for an eye condition. John, Linda and the team went out of their way to ensure our dog was given his medication, despite him being very in keen on having them. They even took him to the vets as he needed to have his eyes checked while we were away - highly recommend
I have 2 Norfolk Terriers and have been taking them to North Rigton Kennels for other 6 years. They both stay there for day boarding and overnight stays on a regular basis and they absolutely love it!! Linda, John the owners and the whole team who I must say have been working there for many years make a big fuss with my dogs and when I’m away on holiday a have received regular photos and videos of them having the time of there lives!! Rufus & Charlie the Norfolk terrier’s always return home from a day at the kennels absolutely exhausted from the fun and exercise they have had throughout their day. Linda one of the owners showed me around the new building and I must say the new kennels look amazing, they certainly have thought of everything for all your dogs needs. I can’t recommend North Rigton Kennels enough and a big thank you to the whole team for the amazing service i have received over the past 6 years. Many thanks. Jeff Hood, Rufus & Charlie.
My review is not about looking after my bearded collie Bubba. That is always fantastic, I sometimes feel he'd rather stay there than come hope to us ! No, my review is about the helpfulness and sensitivity of the staff. I recently returned from Croatia and was quite literally in bagggage reclaim when I got a call to say my father had died that morning. He had lived alone in Chester and I had to go there. Of course we were supposed to pick Bubba up and I knew the kennels were very busy. Nonetheless when I explained the circumstances they could not have been more helpful and sympathetic - Bubba could stay longer. That was enormously helpful and very much appreciated. They were equally accommodating (and equally busy) when they fitted him in when I had to go the funeral. Thank you North Rigton you are marvelous !
Our two Beagles love having their holidays here. The Staff are always friendly, helpful, professional and our two adore them. Everything is spotlessly clean, the new building is a stunning addition. Will be back in June and hopefully December this year as we feel North Rigton go beyond to give the perfect service.
Just found their customer service quite appalling, met with a very patronising woman with a north east accent. Not personable or empathaletic at all. Not interested in caring for and looking after your dog more of a tick box process. Extremely slow booking in process waited over half an hour as they were looking through amounts of paperwork. On a previous booking my dogs toys were never put in his kennel neither the blanket I asked to be put down for him. All came back still clean in the box I gave them. Won't be booking in again as worried about the actual love and care he receives whilst he's there due to the rudeness of staff. The first lady we saw was really lovely until who i believe where the owners who came across. Seeing other reviews that some dogs had caught kennel cough on staying at Rigton I am pleased that my dog didn't stay there anyway depsite the circumstances. By the way Simbas vaccinations were in date for another year, my vet has confirmed!!! Your mistake not mine!!!
I have a rescue, large breed dog that historically has been reactive to other dogs, is cautious of men and gets spooked quite easily (also has generalised and separation anxiety). I started using North Rigton about two years ago now and they have been ever so kind and understanding of his and my needs - I had a lot of anxiety about leaving him at kennels, but they cater to individual walks and I know he is safe there. I always get regular updates, quick enquiry replies and a lovely welcome every time we come. I am truly grateful for all their help and can leave him there knowing he is in safe hands. All of the staff are lovely and he genuinely enjoys going strutting off with the staff every time I drop him off.
IT’S A SHAME! 🤷 No real conception of what customer service is, seemingly severely understaffed, very long waiting times on phone or when you turn up for a collection or drop off (in our experience). Request for a VAT receipt has been met with questions as to why and told prior it would have to be typed up in Word and sent sometime in the week. Collected dogs on Sunday, now Thursday. (After communication and complaint to the owner over telephone today this has now been sent) Linda (i believe her name was) on the phone was particularly combative and not able to diffuse a disgruntled customer eventually hanging up. If this is how they treat customers makes you wonder how do they treat your pets? I’m sure the animals received good treatment but for the first time in 10 years I have doubts, with 2 of our 4 dogs contracting kennel cough, seeing them scramble for water (seemingly dehydrated) when we got them home and forgetting to return all pet items on collection. The KC Incubation period fits the time in kennels to showing symptoms and all our dogs have had up to date KC vaccine . Most likely culprit, other dogs with KC (check all customers records, bad hygiene of bowls, bedding, toys). I appreciate there’s no way to prove that but ockhams razor would suggest most likely they contracted the virus at kennels. Rather than try to comfort a customer that’s upset there’s just clear denial and argumentation and told it’s just like covid for dogs by the owner? Like many businesses the customer service just feels sub par on many fronts and the systems in place archaic. Since the change of ownership in my opinion it has gone severely downhill and we will no longer be boarding our pets here especially considering the hiked price increases in recent years. If I have concerns about front of house then who knows what it’s like back of house. For the record this is my honest opinion and mine only, please read other testimonies and make up your mind for yourself if you wish to board your pets here. There are other options nearby!
Collected my happy dog from North Rigton today, we have been using North Rigton for 9 years, multiple times a year and my dog literally jumps with joy when I tell him he is off to kennels. A lot of the staff have been there all the 9 years which says a lot in my view, really like the private facebook group to get pictures of your dog when boarding, would highly recommend North Rigton Kennels
I have always had an excellent experience with North Rigton kennels, the staff are all lovely girls who are always very kind and helpful. My dogs love it there and I will continue to use them for my holidays. I recommend it to everyone I know.
Expect the bare minimum according to the license, 2x 20min walks a day cut short if there’s bad weather.
Our dog is always so excited and happy to see Becky for his lunchtime walks. He comes back tired and super happy having been on an adventure with his new friends (human and canine)! We can’t wait to see what he has been up to on Instagram, and love to see all the fun he has on his walks. Always reliable, flexible, friendly and accommodating, I can’t recommend Taylor’s Tails enough. Becky’s years of experience and care for dogs is evident to see. After struggling to find a dog Walker, we are so happy to have found Taylor’s Tails!
Bex is absolutely one of a kind, and I would trust no one else with my beloved Lexi. We had never used a dog walker before and initially were very apprehensive about the thought of using one. Bex was from the very first message exchange so reassuring and instantly put us at ease. She came to our home to meet Lexi, showed both of us around the van (Lexi had a good sniff!!), invited me along for walks initially together and then when we were both ready, took Lexi for her first walk alone. Lexi had experienced in the last few weeks a lot of changes to her routine and at first was quite nervous, however Bex handled this amazingly and kept me up to date with Lexi’s progress every step of the way. Now Lexi and Bex are the best of friends and Lexi is thriving in Bex’s care. The gorgeous daily pictures of Lexi are not only a fantastic additional service to the care she provides to all the dogs in her care, but give that extra bit of reassurance that they are happy, well looked after and most importantly safe. I am so glad that Bex came into our lives and if Lexi could talk, I know she would say the same. Thank you Bex, you are the absolute best.
I was nervous about leaving Bailey with someone new when I moved back to Harrogate. I shouldn’t have been worried, Bailey absolutely loves Becky and sits and waits for her to come, by the window on walk days. Having somewhere for Bailey to stay when I’m away with people she knows, is so reassuring and I know she’s having fun with her doggy friends.
Becky is fantastic! Couldn’t recommend her more. Paddy has been to stay over too when we have been away for a few days. He is always so happy to go on his walks. I am worried he loves her more than me 😂 x …
Given this was the first time we had left the dogs we were a little apprehensive but there was no need. Hugo and Teddy had a wonderful time and we were sent photos and videos of them throughout their stay. They were clearly looked after as if part of the family, they were in a safe environment and they were able to live as if they were still at home. We were very happy and would thoroughly recommend a stay at Pawsome Digs.
Pawsome Digs is fabulous, our cockapoo Dotty loves going there and staying. Shes had both vacation and day care which has been amazing. Dotty loves socializing with other dogs and has a blast so much so she sulked for a day when we brought her home! Juliana responds quickly, is accommodating and keeps us updated with photos and messages so we’re always reassured.
Pepper happily trots up the driveway looking forward to enjoying home from home comforts and fun with the other dogs while we can relax and go away knowing that she is in safe and caring hands. Thoroughly recommend.
Twiglet and Ralph love Julianna and her lovely family … real home from home for our boys and we leave them knowing they are in safe hands - used to the quirks of daxies - lots of sloppy kisses and cuddles given and cannot recommend enough … thankyou xx 🐾❤️🐶🐶😊 feel they are our extended family x 😀👍🏻 …
Fabulous sevice! We have had our dogs stay overnight and kept in the loop with updates as very nervous leaving them for the first time, the dogs clearly loved it as i’m not sure they wanted to come home! Can’t wait for them to have their next adventure here!
