James and India stayed for two weeks and looked after our two dogs, two cats and our only chicken. They were great at communicating throughout. They arrived the day before so we could show them around the house and explain our usual routine. They took everything in their stride and were extremely confident and reassuring with Frank who can be nervous with strangers but they had him on-side immediately. I would gladly have them back if they ever chose to return to the area. Thanks both!
Marquise and Jason are super friendly with such a calm approach to dogs. My 3 nervous greyhounds all loved them within hours of meeting them, and I felt they were very safe being left in their care. I got regular photos and updates, the house was clean and tidy when I got back, and the dogs clearly had a blast while I was gone! If they travel back this way they’ve always got a place to stay, I’d happily book them again!

Amazing kennels, they get well looked after. Ours loves his big bed under the heat lamp in winter. Always comes back tired from all the walks. He was there over his birthday and they did him a special birthday party with the stuff I'd sent him with and did me a lovely video of him having fun.
My dog stayed for 6 nights recently. Having never been away from us in 9 years we were quite anxious. Staff were amazing with him from the moment we dropped him off to picking him up a week later. The updates via text and photos reassured us that he was in safe and loving hands and he’d settled into his new home. Can’t recommend this place enough!
My dog stayed recently for 6 days. He is normally an anxious pup with new people/surroundings but he was made to feel at home and looked after by staff members. The updates (pictures attached) showed he loved his time away and made me feel better knowing he was settled too. Would recommend and use again!
Cannot explain how good this place is. We were very wary about leaving our dog after our first experience with another place but could immediately tell the difference when we visited and at drop off. They clearly all love dogs and that is reflected in the way my dog was cared for. We received daily photos, daily texts and they even said they didn’t want us to pick her up as they all loved her. Our dog came home so happy and I now feel so much more comfortable going away knowing she will be looked after so well next time. The price for the quality is also amazing.
Darrington Dog Boarding hold a very special place in our hearts. They also own Pontefract Dog Rescue which is where we found our fur baby Hela. We were apprehensive leaving her in boarding Kennels but we really didn't have to worry. The same amazing staff look after the boarders as well as the rescue dogs. Hela actually enjoys going which is just amazing news for us. We would totally recommend these wonderful people 💜
We have been using Darington Boarding Kennels for the past 3 years for our Bedlington x Whippet and our Whippet. There is no reason for us to use anywhere else, the experience is always very positive, customer service is spot on but most import is that the dogs are truly cared for. We get photos sent to us of the dogs and updates during their stay. I can’t allocate anything other than 5 gold ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have used other kennels but none as good as this one. My dogs loved being there. The photos sent to me showed my girls having a fabulous time, there faces showed they were very happy. Thank you to all the staff for looking after them.

Sarah is a lovely, kind caring lady who put the animals she cares for at the forefront of her dog walking services. I have now used Sarah’s dog walking for three years, and Otis waits with anticipation and eagerness door watching and waiting for her voice, when he knows it’s his day to go with Sarah and his furry friends he simply cannot contain his excitement’. Dogs can’t speak to us, but how he is when he sees Sarah speaks volumes. His tail wags non stop, he is vocal in the sense of being giddy and nudges Sarah to hurry up and get going. He thoroughly enjoys his time out walking and playing, he always comes back tired and ready to rest after running and playing with his furry friends. I would highly recommend Sarah and trust her implicitly with caring for my dog and his welfare whilst in her care.
The most fantastic dog walker I’ve ever had! Sarah is so brilliant, she’s caring and kind to my dog and so respectful of my home too! I wouldn’t trust anyone else more. She ensures that the dogs have the best walk and then that they’re clean enough to come back in the house (which is rare so mine is often cleaned) couldn’t recommend this service enough! My dog loves her dog walks!!

Sarah is amazing and looks after my mum’s dog Rockie. He sits waiting for her everyday and he can’t wait to be with her. Not only does she look after him she also checks on my mum’s wellbeing as and although it should just be a one-hour walk, she will take him for 3. I do not live near my mum and Sarah not only makes sure the dog is ok but that my mum is ok too, she is reliable trustworthy, and it is great to know she is there for the dog and mum. I 100% recommend Sarah and I know she is there for them both. I have had dog walkers in the past with my dogs but none quite like Sarah.

Paws 4 Life takes our little man out for a walk a few times a week, sometimes on his own and sometimes with a group. We get an update after every single walk letting us know how he was, and there are always photos of his adventures! My Westie has a bad paw at the moment, and Bev has loads of useful advice and help, and for us having just moved to the area her recommendations were brilliant! We couldn't ask for a better service from Bev and Paws 4 Life, and my little boy absolutely adores her! Thank you so much to Lucy and Elaine for taking care of Alba while I left him for the first time to go on holiday. The photos and updates were a real nice touch to see how content he was at home with you both and out on adventures/walks. Lucy & Elaine looked after my elderly cats recently and they were fantastic. We recently went away for our summer holiday and were so impressed with the care our dog Gus received from Lucy, Elaine and Janice. They did a pre visit to get to know Gus, and Janice did a fabulous job looking after him while we were away and kept us up to date the whole time. Amazing service, we went away for 10 days to Italy and knew our dogs would be looked after perfectly. We were kept updated by Lucy while away with messages/photos of our dogs and they looked like they were having a great time. She took them on daily walks and to dog parks off their own back. When coming home our house was left clean and in order which is great when coming back from a long holiday. Would highly recommend their service and will be using them again for sure.

We Love Pets came to the rescue when I needed some specific support for my older, sometimes grumpy dog whilst we went on hol. We are often cautious of who meets our dog as if they don’t listen to our requests when introductions take place, it could result in her being snappy. Elaine and Linda were able to come and meet our dog and 100% listened to what needed to happen for the introductions to be positive. This was then the foundation for a loving relationship with Linda to be built! Linda was calm, kind and caring and very clearly an animal lover. So very gentle with our dog and did things on her terms. When away, I felt fully assured our dog was in very safe and caring hands. They were flexible and accommodating with visit days and times. Wouldn’t hesitate to contact again and can fully recommend to anyone else who may be considering We Love Pets. Their input and care was the difference between us being able to go on a family holiday and not. Communication has been great throughout with responsive messaging. Thank you!
I’ve used them a couple of times now & im really pleased with the service. One very good cat who loves her cuddles each visit. One very shy cat who they worked with to gain her trust & get her to come out for head rubs Getting daily photos on holiday stops me missing them as much & gave me reassurance that they were happy & not missing me! Very reasonable price too.
Our dog Ozzie has boarded with Sandra and her family on 2 occasions now and will be making a third visit. He love it there getting to play with all the other dogs. We received daily Facebook videos and information txts when needed. A invaluable service to any dog owner.

Exceptionally clean and very friendly. This is the first time I have left my rabbits with anyone other than family and I am pleased to say that I have no regrets in having done so. First class establishment.

This place is a fabulous kennels, Monty had been here 3 times now and actually likes going (not sure what that says about me like) he goes in with his tail wagging and comes out exactly the same. The kennels themselves are lovely and have sofas for the doggies it's like their own little room, not just stuck in a cage for the duration of their stay. Also the owners keep in contact with you putting pictures on Facebook, which are a big relief for me knowing my little man is ok whilst were away. I also like the fact he gets to socialize with other doggies (this is optional). I would certainly recommend this place 100%!
Buddy was well looked after and we had a very positive experience, kennels we have used previously have not been suitable for his needs as he does get separation anxiety but doggi divas kept him very occupied and even kept us well informed of his daily events via Facebook by posting photos of him playing, I thought this was a nice touch. I Would definitely recommend to others.
Our little dog recently stayed for 12 days at Doggi Divas. We have never left a dog in kennels before, so we were very apprehensive, but she had the time of her life. She had a sofa to sleep on, got lots of time out to play and interact with dogs and humans alike, and she came home full of beans and happy. Sylvia and her husband clearly love all the dogs they care for like their own. I wouldn’t hesitate to take our dog to stay again and would recommend their care and love in a heartbeat.

Lovely people to speak with, invited us around to have a look around. Quickly accepted and made the plans despite it being almost 2 hours travel-time. Once there, I was very impressed and pleased with the facilities and was looking forward to boarding there until I got home and tried to get booked in. It seems practically impossible to reach them via phone (called 10+ times and left several voicemails over the course of 4 weeks). In the end, I was forced to book into a mediocre boarding kennel instead. Very disappointed, as they seem like genuinely nice people with great facilities. Please work on your booking and contact procedures guys
I was so worried about leaving my dog. He has only been left once before and is quite a nervous pooch. Well there was no need to be concerned, Doggi Divas have so much love to give, my dog has had his own holiday, with lots of love, cuddles and play time with other dogs. I recieved updates on how he was doing, and the pics showed how happy he was Absolutley! Absolutley amazing! Will not consider taking him anywhere else!!

Absolutely amazing secure place to let your loved ones stay at. My two get excited as soon as they feel the car start to head down the lane to Doggi Divas. Oscar is a funny one who doesn't like a lot of people but he loves both Sylvia and her husband and rushes up to say hi to them as soon as he sees them :-) Highly recommended, don't look anywhere else.
I cannot be anymore grateful for the quality of service I received after taking my two rabbits for some much needed grooming. The knowledge, professionalism and care shown was 11/10. I wish to say a personal thankyou, both from me and my partner and I will definitely be re-booking in due course.
This is the 3rd time Jane has looked after my hamster Bertie and the first two times seem to have been fine but I cannot even describe how upset and angry I am when I have returned home with him this time after leaving him for just over 2 weeks. There was mountains of wee in the corners and his litter tray, his bed was dirty and all wet with mould at the bottom. The water was stagnant and had scum in it. My poor baby has been living in these conditions. I wouldn’t normally do this but this is a living creature who needs and deserves the best care and this was not it.
