We enjoyed spending time with Max, Harper, Mays and Griffey! They all have such great personalities and respond well to commands. Alex and Jack were very welcoming when we arrived and showed us around the house. They were also great at communicating with us throughout the sit. Harper, Mays, and Griffey are very playful with each other, but they calm down quickly and enjoy snuggling on the couch. Max does his own thing - usually getting in his 10,000 steps and drinking water. Max did enjoy when we would pick him up to join us all on the couch for snuggles. We highly recommend this sit!
Merry and Nigel were very welcoming. Their home is in a small village in a lovely part of the country, close to many walks for Humba. Harry ended up having a few visits to the vet but was so relaxed about it and so cute with his body suite and scratch shield that he was spoilt a bit :-) Lovely sit, would recommend it.
There are not enough good words in the dictionary to describe this sit. If you get the opportunity to look after Lin's home and the incredibly beautiful Ryley then you are in for a treat. Lin is extremely considerate and thoughtful and Ryley is well, just simply the smartest, most gentle and amazing soul I've ever met in my housesitting experience. She's gentle, follows instructions and easy to look after. And the location is so unique. You'll get to watch sunrises and sunsets over the Melbourne skyline. I can't recommend Lin, Ryley and this sit highly enough.
Should a quiet stay in a remarkably friendly and social neighbourhood and small city appeal to you then this sit would be perfect for you. Homeowners Leslie and Alex have a charming, simple and well accentuated house on a delightfully quiet street. Walking enthusiasts will be delighted to learn that they have virtually immediate access to a number of varied trails adjacent to Lake Ontario branching off into lovely ravine like settings. Their dog Daisy is a well mannered, obedient, well trained sweetheart whose affection will long outlast your stay. My time with Alex and Leslie was far too short. Wine lovers and adventurers will appreciate the easy access to a multitude of interesting activities and sights that time spent at Leslie’s and Alex’s abode will afford. Thank you both for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
Was such a pleasure to take care of Poppy and Oscar while Lee and his family were away. Both Poppy and Oscar are both extremely well trained and great personalities to have around. Lee was fantastic with communication all throughout the sit and the house was in a great location and very comfortable to stay in. Couldn’t recommend this housesit more.
