Dog Sitters in Kreuzlingen

Unfortunately due to Coronavirus Christine was unable to pet sit for us. She was unable to travel from Switzerland and we were unable to travel to our intended holiday destination in Scotland. However, throughout all of our conversations regarding events Christine was very reliable and amenable to any suggestions, trying to problem solve if possible. We have come to an arrangement that hopefully next year she will be able to sit for us, let's hope so.

Mel, Tobias and little Emile, responded to our request to look after our two dogs. They arrived as arranged the day before to get to know the house, surroundings and the dogs. Nell our elderly Labrador cross is half blind, half deaf and diabetic. She requires Insulin injections twice a day, 12 hours apart. For Mel and Tobias, none of this was any problem. We were away for 2 weeks and we left for our holiday totally relaxed and confident that our house and dogs were in good hands. Mel and Tobias are the most trustworthy and gentle young people you could wish to meet. The dogs loved them, even Harry our rescued dog who fears everything at first, came to be great friends. While we were away They both, tidied the garden, pruning and making a monumental effort in starting the “Dead Hedge” we had described to them, before leaving. It was such a treat to come home to house seemed cleaner than we had left , and a tidy garden ready for Spring. We ate together on our return, treated to Mel's vegetarian Tapas which we shall copy without shame! We enjoyed their company, our discussions, and Emile's angelic smile. The dogs have moped all afternoon, and we shall miss their company. We thoroughly recommend this charming couple to all members and hope that they can return to us in 2024. We are very happy we chose Tereza for this sit! She is very organized and reliable and also a very nice person. Gizmo liked her right away and even during this short stay we got many pictures and videos of how he's doing. Upon returning our home was clean and tidy and everything was at its place. If it wasn't for a happy kitty and changed bed sheets it didn't look like anyone was even there. :) We can definitely recommend.

Bedran and Lena are a delightful couple who were lovely company (they travelled from Switzerland to the UK to house sit as part of their summer holiday) and they stayed with us the night before we left for our time away. The dogs adored them from the second they arrived. In fact, Maurice was depressed for 24 hours after they left as he'd had such a lovely time with them. They left the house with more food than when they arrived and the house was cleaned and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to have them again.

Diana and Dieter looked after our 2 dogs and 3 cats for just over 2 weeks. Our animals were very well cared for and both Diana and Dieter obviously love animals. Our home was kept very tidy and we were very happy to leave it and our animals in their very capable hands. We would welcome both Diana and Dieter back to our home in a heartbeat.

Maria was truly outstanding--among the very best house sitters I've ever had (and I've had many over the years). She texted every day with photos and videos of the cats and cared for them as if they were her own. Within two days the cat with anxiety issues was cuddling in bed with her! That had never happened before. I was so grateful for her loving care of the cats and the whole house. The house was cleaner when I got home than when I left, and the cats were calm and happy. Maria is extremely responsible and reliable, and even took the car to two different mechanics to get it fixed. I hope she'll come back soon! I would love to have her sit again for us.

Frankly, it's challenging to know where to begin. Virtually every aspect of Marion's sit was so remarkably thoughtful, caring and perfectly managed. In addition to daily updates with photos and reports about Bella's adventures, Bella was clearly given a great deal of TLC and wonderful outings. I returned home to a very happy dog who had clearly bonded almost immediately with Marion. She has a very calm and warm demeanour which Bella immediately responded to. Additionally, the apt. was left in impeccable and orderly condition. I can't recommend Marion more highly and hope that we'll have an opportunity to welcome her back again!

This is the first time I have to give a bad rating for a house siting. I am very sorry. Previously I had excelente¿ sitters. ☆summary: ●they don't know about real pet care (you can tell they do it for the accommodation). ● they are not clean. ● They do not communicate or send daily photos or videos. ●They DO NOT know how a house works. but they don't ask either. People can do an excellent job with will, enthusiasm and without having prior knowledge. Just asking and solving doughts. That's why I leave videos. and annotations to help and facilitate tasks. +There was almost no communication. They only sent a total of 8 photos in total of 6 pets in 15 days. If I didn't write to them, they didn't contact me to tell me how the pets or the house was going on.Cleanliness and order did not exist. They expected the lady that goes during weekdays to do everything. After the first weekend, this lady arrived on Monday and told me that was incredibly dirty, smely, and thank the kitchen was a cementary Of used pots. When they arrived I told them that the sheets were washed once a week by the house keeper and they told me that it didn't matter that after 15 days it was fine, (which I didn't agree to, it seemed unusual to me). In the 15 days they were not able to remove the dog's waste or poop. Of the bag in the garden.They expected the employee to do it. The last day was Monday(I allowed them to stay two more days out of mercy since where they were moving was without heat). And I asked them if they had take out the trash? AMD the answer was increíble! : we don't know where to get it out!!! They never asked! In 15 days they never asked anything at all. No doughts , only specific things of THEIR interest, not even about dogs. When we returned the pools were completely green. They never told me it was turning green. They had no idea about the caretaker of a house. If the water is ruined, the first thing you do if you're not sure what to do is at least ASK ! 3 days before returning due to lack of pressure, the gas central heating turned off, with 1 degree of temperature. Frerzing! They never call me to comunicate this situation. The next day they told the house cleaner, and she called me to tell me about it.. I told Sonia to turn on the air conditioning, heating option. The dogs were freezing !!! I really can't understand these guys. As I write this review I remember more unusual things. They took off a towel rack from the sink and were waiting for me to fix it. I don't understand how they manage to take it away as it had high contact glu. From the first minute they arrived I saw that there was no real connection with the animals. He only likes cats, she likes dogs more. The first day I told them that Gertrud couldn't run much because she has osteoarthritis. And please not demand her physically. And what happened? Gertrud and Charly loves to play with the ball, they can play 24 hs non stop. But Kay may be in order to make them excercise, play too much. And Gertrud ended up destroyed. and with a lot of pain.. he cries at night. And finish in the veterinary when we were black. Frida revenge with pee or pooo every day, as they slept on the living room. And were no taken to the main room. I think the are Good persons but These guys have no idea about dogs. and house care. Kay loves cats. So if you have a cat in an apartment may be they are great. But it didnt work for us, my husband was furious.

Communication with Anette and David was great and they were very understanding of a last minute unexpected change in our plan. They are lovely people and I would gladly welcome them back.

Guys looked after our beloved cat with lots of care and treated our home with great respect. They addressed issues that came up in the apartment fast and efficient, had great communication and were very pleasing to work with overall! Highly recommend.

Ruth was an amazing sitter, she looked after Harvey with care and understanding as he is an older cat and more needy. Harvey took to Ruth immediately, I could see that I was leaving him in good and capable hands. Ruth is incredibly self sufficient, finding her way around the area, using the many resources available on line and from information she gleaned out and about. She is compassionate and reliable and I would recommend her highly as a fantastic pet sitter.

Josephine and Joachim were simply fantastic. V open and clear communication. Very organised. Clean and tidy and Puzzle (our Cavapoo) was blissful and far better looked after than if she was with us!
