It was great staying with Shady. Lesly was super responsible if I had any questions. The neighborhood was quiet, and felt safe staying there. Shady was the sweetest cat th whole time. She loved being brushed in the mornings and going outside in the grass.
I had a wonderful time with these 3 characters. Badawi, Zanzi, and Oscar are such lovely cats and all with very different personalities. They provided me with hours of delight and were wonderful company. Louise and Kama offered great hospitality on the night before they left. We had a truly delicious vegetarian meal (and I am a meat eater, so I was particularly impressed) and I was given a very thorough, and useful briefing, on how everything in the house worked and on the care of the cats. The house is newly renovated and was extremely comfortable and warm. The bed in the spare room is a sofa bed, but I can assure you it was super comfortable. If the weather is warm the garden is a haven of tranquility to relax in. Louise was very communicative before, during, and after my stay and thought, and provided, everything I could possibly need, even a brand new dressing gown and slippers which is great when you travel with only a carry on case. The area has good transport links, with buses to many local towns, and connections with Geneva and Geneva Airport. From Geneva there are many wonderful day trips that can be taken by train. One thing I would like to mention is that food prices are high, at least, compared to where I am from (Northern Ireland) so, if you are travelling by car or train from a another less expensive area, it would be an idea to do a grocery shop on the way. Having said that, the Saturday market in Ferney-Voltaire is simply amazing with all sorts of fruit, vegetables, fish. meat, cheeses etc and the local shops do carry a great variety of food, in particular organic food. I would highly recommend this sit and offer my thanks to Louise and Kama for accepting me and welcoming me into their home. I hope to return!
Solitude in the Catskills. This is a treat, three sweet cats in a gorgeous farmhouse in Upstate NY. Izzy runs the show, she keeps you on track for feeding, Gus is a love bug on his terms and Dasha is the sweetest wanting to be close to you. Taking care of this brood is a breeze, they eat twice a day and you just scoop the litter box once a day. I stayed ten days and I totally missed the cats when I returned home. I have never been around Sphynx cats, I didn't know what to expect and I certainly didn't think I would be falling for them. Jean Marc is quick responsive if you needed anything. As far as things to do, there is plenty around and great restaurants. A very memorable stay.
Jeanne’s home is very peaceful with a lovely view from the back patio. She communicated well and the home was clean when I arrived. Fast WiFi. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and conveniently located to some good places to eat and explore. The neighborhood peacocks 🦚 were fun to watch.
Martina has a beautiful home! The cats are so cute and laid-back. I enjoyed my time in old town, Alexandria. It’s a great place to visit with lots of things to do.
Your review for Leisa Julia Sitting for Leisa's fur babies was a real pleasure! She was great with communication and she left detailed instructions. Snow and Romeo are so sweet and friendly. Lola and Lily are the "hunters" and loved bringing me "presents". But all for were super friendly and affectionate. Plenty of sofa snuggles were had. The home is lovely and comfortable with everything you could need. Buses are a few minutes walk, or a ten-minute walk will bring you to the seacoast and Promenade or town centre. This was a wonderful sit and would highly recommend it to anyone.
