Tonya was exceptional with our Molly and with us. We’re getting daily, brief updates, often with pictures. Tonya agreed to stay longer when we got stranded for 2 months at Caribbean Island by Covid19 lockdown. She bought more food for Molly, gave her many baths. I truly can’t imagine what we’d do without her flexibility and willingness to help us. Anybody who will invite Tonya will be a very lucky pet owner .
Staying with Shayna at Alison and Noah's was fantastic! Shayna is a wonderful dog! Shayna is very active and absolutely loves to play ball. She listens well, especially if you have a ball in your hand. People and other dogs can walk by and she only has eyes for you. Well, the ball really, but you by association. Shayna had no problem letting me know what it is she wanted or needed. There are loads of great hiking spots in the area with some as close as across the street or a 5 minute drive. Some spots allow dogs off leash and some do not. Whatever shopping one needs to do there are numerous shops/stores easily within a 10-25 minute drive. The grocery store is a quick 5-7 minute drive. The house is beautiful! The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the lake and it was spacious as was the bathroom next to it. If you enjoy cooking or baking the kitchen is large and has a large island to prepare your dishes. Outside the lawn is beautiful as is the beach and sitting area by the lake. Alison, Noah and their sons are a wonderful family! Alison and Noah are very approachable and easy to talk with. They made me feel more than welcome in their home. We texted several times while they were away and I sent pics of Shayna and the areas we hiked. If you have a chance to stay and play with Shayna, take it. You will have an awesome time if you LOVE being outdoors for a good part of your day.
This is a late review as I thought it had already been completed. Sorry about that Kelly. I had a great weekend with Kelly’s energetic dogs. The house was comfortable and clean, the dogs friendly and active. It was a short stay and I didn’t walk them but we played in the yard and cuddled on the couch. These are strong dogs with lots of zip so I would recommend a younger person or couple.
Sophie and Tiger are wonderful pups! They're sweet, gentle, playful and a pleasure to look after - I will miss them. Michaelle was welcoming and helpful, and her beautiful lake home is well kept and tranquil. The cafe down the street was closed due to the weather, but there are several good restaurants within a 10 minute drive. I highly recommend petsitting for Michaelle.
This was a wonderful house to sit in a beautiful, quiet, tree-lined neighborhood in NE Portland. The welcome Instructions and info. were crystal clear and easy to follow. The furnishings and the appliances were all top notch and the two decks in the backyard were peaceful places to dine or chill. The beautiful gardens and veggies were all on automatic drip irrigation. Their dog Tobby was a pleasure to care for. We feel so fortunate to have stayed there.
Excellent experience! Luna is the most adorable dog I have ever met. She is well trained and very well behaved. We had sunny days and enjoyed the nearby parks and the neighborhood. The house is beautiful and is 20 minutes from central London and its tourist attractions. Kassia and Olivier were super attentive at all times and made sure that everything was covered for any eventuality with the house and Luna. Neighbors were also available if I needed anything. I really enjoyed my stay at their house and Luna's company. Thank you Kassia and Olivier.
Paula and Ethan were so kind and welcoming from the very beginning. They gave very accurate descriptions of each pet, all of whom were so unique and special in their own ways. Paula stayed in touch while away, which allowed me to easily ask questions as they came up. The animals were easy to care for, the house was lovely to stay in and the area was beautiful!
