I spent a lovely 2 weeks caring for Baby in Kathleen's charming home. Baby is a sweet older pup who enjoys close people proximity. She's very stylish in her little coat and loved going out for a short--to-medium-length walk (she'll do an about-face and head for home when she's done. Her other enthusiasms include sleeping in and playing games with treats. Kathleen is a kind and gracious host, and answered (texted) questions quickly and precisely. Her home is about a half-hour walk to downtown Redwood City and the immediate neighbourhood was, over the holidays, filled with sparkling festive lights. I had a great time with Baby in Redwood City :)
Melony is a gracious and communicative pet parent! Her kitties are sweet and have very different personalities. Her home is located in a quiet area but is close to many amenities and is also minutes from downtown Chattanooga.
Boris and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Hamburg with Susu and Orie! Their humans, Bor and Ralf, are lovely people, who welcomed us with open arms and a delicious Italian dinner. Their home is in a quiet, green suburb of Hamburg, easily reachable by public transport. Like almost everywhere in Hamburg, there are lush parks and great walking/cycling trails right at the step of their door. The home is light filled, sleek and modern. We had everything we needed and more. Most importantly, we had the company of two absolutely adorable cats. Susu, the princess, is very independent. She will come in the morning for her breakfast, and will - weather permitting - stay out all day strolling around the very cat-friendly neighborhood - and return just in time for dinner. Orie, the younger one, is a loving and lovable boy. We think he must have been a dog in his previous life, because he sits like a dog, he sleeps like a dog and he followed us around the house like a dog. It was a breeze to take care of them. We would love to return and can wholeheartedly recommend this sit!
Anna and her husband made me feel very welcome in their lovely home. I was made to feel very comfortable and it was a brilliant experience. The experience was made even better because, In addition to looking after their cat Blossom, I had the unexpected pleasure of also looking after two small kittens that she had given birth to recently. They were such lovely cats, good-natured, affectionate and playful. At times I felt like I was co-parenting the kittens, such was the trust given to me by the mother. I would definitely do this sit again and recommend it highly!
I had a wonderful week at Cheryl’s gorgeous home sitting with her sweet pets. The animals were so adorable and easy to care for. Cheryl was relaxed and easy to communicate with, and her home had everything one could ask for, and more. I was very comfortable in the guest suite with its private bath. The location is quiet and beautiful being close to the lake, but also a quick hop to Boulder making it easy to enjoy the city life, restaurants, shopping, as well as great local hikes.
Amazing place. Lovely people, beautiful animals and an easy relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. For us it was a great and easy introduction back into sitting again after a nearly 10 year break! A bit like riding a bike, once you start again it comes back to you. This sit wasn’t too challenging. You will need a car though! You could get away without one if you’re only here for a couple of days. It was just wonderful thank you Margo and Curtis! See you in December!
