Kate was our first sitters through zeewoi and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From our first Skype chat Kate was personable and asked great questions. We got to meet Kate several days before our trip and she was a pleasure - kind, easy-going and also clearly capable. I immediately felt comfortable leaving our pets and home in her hands. We came back to happy and relaxed cats and a dog. Our home was spotless - all the dishes were done and linens were clean and back on the beds. Kate made me an absolute believer in zeewoi. She will always be my first choice.
Meta was amazing! She came the day before we left for our big trip, and had dinner with us and was able to befriend the cats and get to know their routine. It was lovely getting to know her, and it made leaving her with our home and 2 cats much easier. She did an amazing job at getting the cats to trust her. They are not very trusting with strangers. By the second day she was getting great pictures and sharing them with us. Her communication was wonderful, with frequent updates and pictures that made me feel at ease on my vacation. Any questions she had she communicated clearly. She took great care of our home, yard and two cats. The house was very clean and tidy when we returned home, and towels and linens washed etc. And to top it all off she had a wonderful dinner prepared for us, so all we had to do was heat up when we got home. (She said she knew we would be exhausted and we were!) She also restocked our kitchen with some fresh items that we normally have around like yogurt, fruit and vegetables, and some delicious marinated treats too! What a lovely way to return to your own home so well taken care of! After being gone for over 3 weeks, our cats were relaxed, as if we had not been away. I think our male cat Fauci is actually a little depressed that she is gone. He's been lying on the guest room bed and looks up expectantly each time I walk by. Apparently he had taken to sleeping with her! Unbelievable! I sincerely hope our paths will cross again, and that she will be able to stay in our home in the future. You would be lucky to have Meta as a house sitter. She is a true gem.
