Absolutely lovely sit at Amy and Rhys' home in Cardiff. The two dogs, Dewi and Tui, are full of energy, and super sweet, with both loving cuddles and affection. They are both really well behaved, and there is a nice park at the back of the house which was perfect for them to stretch their legs, and burn off some of that aforementioned energy! They are both great without the lead, and have strong recall, even with a newcomer into their lives. The house itself is a lovely family home, and super comfortable. Amy and Rhys were a delight to deal with, and I had a really nice stay :)
Caitlin & Burt were a joy from start to finish. Caitlin is an exemplary host, very easy to get to know - organised, flexible, thoughtful and welcoming. We worked well together throughout the sit, taking everything in stride as we went along. On top of the concise welcome guide, we spoke & texted to fill in what I needed to know about Burt ahead of the sit. I felt both comfortable and completely at ease throughout. Communication was a breeze and always prompt. Caitlin made sure everything was sitter ready and handed over a spotlessly clean home - which is always much appreciated by sitters. Pinner is an accessible location and the flat is in a nice leafy neighborhood & conveniently located to other nearby boroughs as well. Unfortunately it was raining and cold the short time I was there but Burt more than made up for the weather. He’s an absolute joy to sit, independent, incredibly well behaved, affectionate and playful. We hit it off from the moment I arrived and bonded nicely. Without exaggeration Burt is such a character. Just give him time & space to trust you. Win his trust to unravel his endearing personality, bed time snuggles on his terms of course. Best to let him come to you to ask/signal for strokes. Truly such a joy and a breeze to care for and tons of fun. He loved being brushed & playtime. It resonated with me the commitment Caitlin made in giving Burt a loving home and a second chance. Burt is clearly a happier kitty for it. In closing, massive thanks Caitlin for picking and trusting me with darling Burt and your cozy home. I miss my full on conversations and snuggles with Burt. He’s such an endearing intuitive kitty and I love him for it. I recommend this sit wholeheartedly. 10 stars for Caitlin and 100 stars for Burt. You will enjoy this friendly ,thoughtful homeowner and her lovely neighbourhood. Above all the absolute joy of sitting Burt. Enjoy as much as I did.
We absolutely loved looking after Camillas home and wonderful dogs. They were so chilled and very easy. Typically Nala and fudge would accompany us on long walks around the beautiful grounds. Raphi preferred to stay local and Misty was happy walking alongside Bill and Ben, the portable lawn mowers. Camilla was lovely and it’s clear from everyone we met that they think the same. Thanks Camilla for the opportunity to look after your wonderful home! We hope to meet you again soon and would be delighted to sweep in and look after your amazing dogs again xxx
We had the best time looking after Winnie and Dottie at Cathy’s lovely home! The girls are well behaved and affectionate, and Cathy’s house and garden are gorgeous. Cathy is friendly and responsive and left helpful instructions and great local recommendations. We’d happily come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy country escape!
We had a lovely time looking after Jimmy and Paxo at this stunning location. Pilar and Darren were very helpful and gave us a lovely welcome on the first day of the sit. A detailed welcome guide included handy videos on how to use the appliances in this high tech home. Jimmy and Paxo are easy to look after, they are great cats with amusing personalities. They’re the Yin and Yang of cats with Jimmy loving human company, he even followed us on an evening walk around the grounds, whereas Paxo is more reserved and preferred to sleep in the shade, occasionally emerging to let us know when he wanted a head rub and feeding; he is a big cat with the cutest voice. We loved them. The location is in a quiet part of East Grinstead a short walk across a park to the town centre. We had a nice time here, there were some lovely walks, we really enjoyed the walk along the Forest Way which runs around 16 kilometres through leafy countryside. We highly recommend taking a trip on the Bluebell line to enjoy the old steam train experience, with all the old stations to enjoy along the way. We were very comfortable here and highly recommend this sit.
Kerry and Michael were excellent hosts. Made us both extremely welcome.. Bowie and Smudge were lovely, told us what they wanted and accepted some loving. Lovely sit, no problems.
