We feel so blessed Devin and Lauren chose us to sit for them! Leeloo was an absolute dream to look after - super sweet, low maintenance, and easily amused by her toy, a few treats, and just having humans around. We were enchanted by her cute little ways, like sitting up politely at the dinner table. Lauren and Devin's home is in a great LA location, but so comfy that we spent a lot of time just chilling with Leeloo and enjoying the amazing TV and sound system. Highly recommended! <3
It was our absolute pleasure to housesit for Michele and Marc, Romy and Nala. The entire process was completely seamless with communication before and during the sit always fast, easy and relaxed. We were warmly welcomed the day before flights so that we had the opportunity for a thorough handover of house and pet requirements. This also gave us the time to get to know Romy and Nala, observe and participate in their routines and spend some time chatting all things travel with Michèle and Marc. Romy is a very beautiful, gentle, kind hearted and loving dog that reflects back the way she is absolutely adored and cared for by Michèle and Marc. She loves to go for walks, play fetch with sticks or just sit with her head in your lap watching Netflix. Nala is totally independent and she comes and goes as she pleases and just checks in occasionally to ensure that someone is still there. There is a well stocked shop within walking distance and oh la la the most incredible croissant shop just on the corner. The house is large and wonderfully comfortable with everything you need. The routines for the house are easy to understand and take care of. Public transport is accessible from the house and you can travel to the center of Athens with just one bus and a train. We would absolutely housesit again for Michele and Marc if they asked and we know that we will miss Romy’s wonderful nature and doggie companionship as we continue our travels. Thank you both for allowing us to share your home and life, Athens will always be a special memory for us because of you.
David and Jackie were excellent welcoming hosts. Their home is lovely and in a lovely neighborhood conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants and best of all neighborhoods excellent for walking their big lovable pyrnees, Lagun. He and I became best friends, walking three times a day. He was friendly with all the dogs and people we met. I don't think he has a mean bone in his body. Mittens the cat is also exceptionally loving. Just try to lay down and read a book and she will be stretched out on your chest and purring in no time. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
