This is not in Orlando just fyi, and I did the best I could with the little instructions left. A house keeper would be a better fit for this situation.
Kathy was a great person to sit for and we enjoyed looking after her 3 adorable dogs. She was very welcoming and generous and left us clear instructions about the dogs and house. Berry, Baxter & Ella are affectionate and playful and they immediately welcomed us into their dog family. It was fun getting to know them and their individual personalities. Berry is the sensible one, she keeps everyone in line, and loves a belly rub. Baxter is charming and cheeky and has irresistible ears. Ella has lots of energy and her favourite thing in the world is her ball and she loves playing fetch. We enjoyed taking them in the car, going for long walks in the park, and cuddling on the couch.
We were very lucky to have been chosen for the wonderful stay in Seytroux in Jerome and Victoria’s beautiful home with it’s fabulous surroundings and to be given the opportunity to look after their sweet family of pets. We had excellent communication with them from the initial stages and throughout the sit and they were very thorough in their help and guidance with feeding/caring instructions so we felt very supported and confident in the animal’s individual needs and likes and dislikes. Bella is a very good natured young dog who enjoyed our company and loved being out in the garden and chasing her ball (when not busy hunting and eating the crickets!). She would happily walk on the lead and was well behaved both outside and indoors, but does need to be kept separate from the cats. Tia and Terry had their own separate rooms and both were very loving and enjoyed company as much as possible. Terry adored being stroked and having his head rubbed and is such a sweet cat who has no aggression in him whatsoever, he’s just adorable. Tia loves to play and really enjoyed chasing a piece of string. She also enjoyed a bit of a head rub and some attention but preferred to be active and have you play with her. All three are very lovely and a pleasure to look after and the house is really very special, all in all it was a great housesit and we felt very privileged to be given the opportunity.
Had a great time! House was lovely, with a big back garden and in a great neighbourhood, less than ten minutes in a car from many many shops and eateries. Great friendly neighbours. Angelika and Robert are a lovely couple who treated us to fresh Croissants on our first morning before they left and were hepful with advice about the area and showing us around the house. The best part of the sit, of course, was Schnuggl! Firstly, is an outside cat so easy to look after. Secondly, Never thought we would like a cat as much as our own cats but Schnuggl has a real personality that is fun to be around, after 2 days i was scooping her up as we entered the house. Shows almost human appreciation when you feed her. We miss her already. Will hopefully get to see all 3 again. Great time.
Bubbles, "Mei-Mei," and Milo were such sweet, fun-loving, and well-behaved siblings! Bubbles and "Mei-Mei" loved going on nature walks and exploring the trails. While they're both laid-back and enjoyed keeping me company while working remotely, "Mei-Mei" loved fetching pillows, shoes, and clothing to play with and attempting to take them outside when it was time for potty breaks LOL. Milo was so loving and always ready to spend time with you. He loved hanging out on his cat tower and will love lying next to you. Lynn and Stephanie gave thorough instructions and were communicative throughout the sit. These sweet fur babies made my heart smile, and I hope they get showered with a lifetime of daily belly rubs and hugs!
We thoroughly enjoyed our sit for Gabbie. She is an absolute sweet heart of a dog. We took her for several long walks with our dog Charlie who came with us on the sit, the two dogs had a lot of fun together. The location is great, with easy access to all Charleston has to offer, while being a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. Communication with Suzanne was easy, She provided me with all the information I needed up front. She was also very easy to get in touch with during the sit.
