My husband and I had a lovely time with Carla’s gang - the dogs were quite mad but very entertaining and affectionate, and the two cats were an absolute dream. The house was clean, Carla was as nice as her pets and we won’t hesitate to go back if asked. The house itself is in a great location for exploring the beautiful village of Barnes and the garden was a lovely space to kick back in. Thank you, Carla, and thank you, super pets!
From start to finish our almost 3 week stay with Paul and his adorable and oh so intelligent pussycat whom we became so attached to was such an outstanding and enjoyable stay. Paul went over and above in facilitating our early arrival, comforts and local interests etc and treated us to delicious food. We so enjoyed his good company and loved our time with his truly special Ono who is such a reflection of Paul's easy endearing manner. She loves her humans and even watched TV from our laps in the evenings when she wasn't playing with her toys which she so enjoyed daily keeping us entertained in such an endearing way. We can only thank Paul for his trust in lending his much loved Ono and kindest hospitality at Twyford which is such a wonderful village having great transport connections, a large Waitrose and excellent Indian restaurant and many more choices. Wonderfully quiet, extremely comfortable and tasteful home with every amenity within walking distance. A thoroughly enjoyable stay which we would gladly repeat. We had a great time at Claire & Ros’s. The house is incredibly spacious and has a lovely garden with a real sun trap! The cats are so chilled and friendly, real characters - they are lovely to be around. Everything is really easy to get to and explore. Claire was very welcoming, relaxed and easy to get in touch with. A great sit! Thank you so much :)
Had a wonderful stay in Edinburgh, Chris and Barbara’s home is full of charm and so comfortable. It’s in such an amazing location with it only being a 10/15 minute walk from the centre of the city, but the local area also has plenty of shops/restaurants/cafes as well as beautiful architecture for you to wonder round and admire. Chris and Barbara were very kind and welcoming, even making me dinner when I arrived the night before. They were also easily contactable throughout the duration of the sit for when I had questions. Now the star of the show that is Bertie! He was such a joy to look after and the most cuddly kitty I’ve ever come across, he always wanted to snuggle up to me whenever I sat down, which I loved! He was so soft and cute and felt like we really bonded over the week. Already miss him lots! I also met Lottie the night before Chris and Barbara went away and she was also so sweet and friendly, I definitely would have been more than happy to care for her too should she have stayed!
We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Tara and Matt, but they prepared a comprehensive welcome guide and we kept in contact throughout the week. They were both very friendly and gave up tips on local places. Their lovely house is in a quiet and secure neighborhood in Plaza Midwood which is very walkable with lots to do. Bella was the special attraction. She is smart, adorable, and loveable. She loves treats, walks, cuddling, and just being near you. She slept with us nightly and she was very easy to care for. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

I recently had to leave for an emergency trip to California for my aunt’s funeral and needed a place for my dogs to stay for 6 days. My choice was obvious. I absolutely love Pups and Mutts and my dogs used to come play often back when we lived in Buda. I moved about 2 years ago to Manor and will still make the hour drive to Pups and Mutts because my dogs love it there and I know my dogs are well taken care of and are being loved while I’m gone. I am very thankful and grateful to Pups and Mutts for being such a trustworthy and safe place to leave my dogs. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Rini and Coco when I had to leave for such a heart wrenching reason. It made my heavy heart feel just a bit lighter. ❤️🙏
I am beyond happy with Pups & Mutts! My dog has been coming here for months is always excited. Those that have shelter dogs know the concern dropping them off at a new place, but he has the time of his life running around with the sweetest staff. They do themes for holidays and it is always so funny to receive the pics at work. Staff is amazing, price is great, and my dog is happy- what else can you ask for? Love them!
They got a new groomer and does not know how to cut goldendoodles. I particularly state need a 4 with teddy bear cut around the face. I picked her up and they shaved her entire body. They even read back correctly what I said but the groomer shaved her beautiful fur. She was not matted has I brush her daily. Below is the before and after picture. Beware of their grooming services. After 4 years, I will not be back. Any recommendations for a new grooming services?
Never again! My wife booked an appointment to have our 12 yr old mixed breed dog groomed. She brought the dog in at 10:30AM as directed. She was told it would take anywhere between 2-3 hrs to groom the dog. After 6hrs with no indication that the dog was ready, she went and picked up our dog only to find out that after 6hrs, our dog had only been given a bath! (dog wasn't even brushed out!). They even had the nerve to charge her $20 for the bath!! Unbelievable. Lost a customer for life.
I normally don’t get involved with my daughter’s business, this time I have to say something. We searched for a placed to house my daughter’s puppy while visiting family nearby. The excitement of her puppy being able to interact with others besides her normal surroundings was a huge factor for why and where we settled with Pups and Mutts. Unfortunately after picking up my daughter’s puppy, we noticed a huge difference in her behavior and temperament. The puppy appeared to be very unhappy, not her usual bubbly demeanor. Never had experienced her puppy ever growling or showing aggression towards anyone less anything. Once we were home she drank water as if it wasn’t enough. Never seen this before. She didn’t want to do zoomies in the yard or play with her favorite toys. Basically she just laid in her crate without any prompting. I’m not sure what has happened to my daughter’s buddy, but this is not what we expected. Services that were paid for don’t appear to be done. The puppy was actually damp upon picking her up. Nails are not trimmed. We are not asking for anything, but we will not visit this place again……
I've used P&M's grooming multiple times through the years, and have been satisfied with their services, but the most recent experience was unacceptable. There was miscommunication about grooming preferences and staff difficulties so I had to bring my dogs back multiple days and wait late at night for them to complete the process. They were still less than satisfactory groomed, and my dogs have been traumatized by the visit. I was followed up by a phone call from the manager who was sympathetic and apologetic to my experience. She offered reparation and promised to review the staff and procedures. I don’t think one awful experience should condemn them and I believe in local businesses, so I’m willing to try their services again, but I will proceed with caution and review their procedures before I bring my dogs back. Hopefully there will be a better review after my next visit.

My doggy loves this place. They know him by name and make my life soooo much easier and better. When he goes for daycare he comes back tired and happy. When he goes for boarding they take the absolute cutest photo updates. I’m moving closer to Austin in December and this place will be the one place in Kyle I will absolutely miss. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! They made the process so easy and kept in touch while my dog was boarding! My dog loved it and from the pictures I received he was having a blast. Thank you guys so much for everything.
We kennel our dog here anytime we go out of town. Our dog gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. The staff is fantastic. We always have our dog get a haircut while he is there, and the groomer does such a great job
My basset and beagle basset have enjoyed multiple visits of 1-7 days. We are always greeted with a smile. We know our pups are in great, loving hands without a worry during our time away!
Best, most accommodating dog boarding in the area! We’ve used Dogs Day Away for our doggies for 2+ years and Jessica has been so flexible, so caring, and an awesome person to care for our dogs. We absolutely love it here and are so lucky to have found Jessaca! Our boxer/bully mix is hard to find a place for boarding because he is distrusting of strangers and doesn’t play well with others, but he does incredible here and I feel 100% at ease when he is staying. Jessaca “follows the rules” for each dog that she watches and for us that is very comforting since our a pup is a little more to deal with. Him and his sister always come home exhausted from all their fun at Dogs Day Away! Would recommend even if you have to make the short drive from downtown Austin for your pups to have an amazing place to stay!

We just had our first boarding experience with Dog's Day Away and are very happy with the service we received. I get very nervous leaving my dogs somewhere new and we picked up two very happy and tired dogs at the end of their week long stay. Jessaca and the rest of her team were very welcoming and clearly care deeply for each family they care for. We were able to do a visit with our dogs ahead of time and seeing how comfortable they were took away any apprehension I had. They answered every single question I had with patience and I never felt like the "crazy dog parent". I especially like that they keep the dogs separated to just our household and we don't have to do any sort of social time with other dogs. This place is worth every penny and I am grateful we found somewhere we can trust and that our dogs enjoy.

This facility came at a good time when our vet decided to close their boarding facilities. I can’t say enough good things about Dogs Day Away. As soon as we dropped our dog off we knew we made the right choice. I felt very comfortable and never worried that our baby was in good hands.
Dogs Day Away is a great place to board your dog! The owners, Jessica and Justin, are so sweet and attentive to each of the dogs that are left in their care. I remember when I first left my pup with them I was a little bit nervous about it, but they were so reassuring and made my dog comfortable. They are now the only people I trust with my dog, and I love how excited he gets whenever I leave him with them. They also have a huge backyard for your dog to run around in, and they provide all the toys your dog could possibly need during his/her stay. I highly recommend leaving your dog in their caring hands whenever they need a place to stay during your travels!
My dog absolutely LOVES boarding here. He is a large pittie mix and has been anxious at other boarders. Dogs Day Away always goes above and beyond. My dog gets so excited whenever we pull up, could not recommend more!
Our puppy loves going here. It's a nice little vacation for him when we go out of town. The owner is very nice and the staff really care about the dogs. Prices are very reasonable also. If you are booking here, make your reservation in advance because they do book up quickly since they are a smaller doggie day care.
Love this place! My puppy has stayed at their resort a few times now, and we fully trust them! Each time our doggy has had so much fun. They are very attentive and communicative throughout the entire stay. Our dog gets so excited when we approach the resort. Price is affordable and worth it. Wouldn't leave our baby anywhere else!
Lily was treated kindly and got to play with a variety of dogs. She may be 33 lbs. but thinks she is 85 lbs! Love that it isn't overcrowded and they have more time with the fur babies.
I have been using Firehouse Pet Resort for years and they must do magic on my dog! She plays with other dogs, listens to the team there, and always trots in like she's going on vacation when I bring her. I know she's getting lots of love because she knows every employee I see and they all know her. They also take such good care of her--she's never been injured despite playing with big dogs for months, and they notice when she's not feeling well even more quickly than I do. And they send the cutest pictures of my pup! I love this place so much!
We are so grateful for Firehouse Pet Resort! They love our little guy like we love him. He's a ball of energy and they wear him out a few times per week. Has an amazing team that are always welcoming you and your pet. When I take my kiddo (my dog) twice a week, for play care her tail wags so much like crazy and has met her best friends. Even when using there boarding services I cannot stop recommending as they are provided, when call. Very happy to have found a place where my kiddo can have fun and is always welcome. Where do I start. I was so nervous leaving my baby! Yes! That’s my baby. Just anywhere. I must have visit Firehouse several times before I left him there for playcare. Biggie loves it there! He gets to interact with other dogs, which helps with his social skills! The staff there are AMAZING & you can tell their love for animals! I am so appreciative of the staff. They take so good care of Biggie while I am at work. The staff are very communicative with day at pick up & call me when needed. Ms. Vanessa is Biggie’s girlfriend 🤣. Esterlene is a great manager. We love the care & staff at Firehouse Resorts in Kyle!!❤️
Annie has gone to “puppy play care” twice a week for several months and absolutely loves it! Everyone there is so kind and welcoming! They take such good care of her while I’m at work. She gets so excited when we get there! The staff is incredible with Annie! It’s also comforting that her vet is next door in case of an emergency. I highly recommend it!
I found Dr. Roslyn Reavis to be rude and dismissive. Was able to find better and more affordable care elsewhere.
The entire team is wonderful. We take all 3 of our pets here, and they take the best care of them! We've been coming to them for just under 2 years now, and have never had a bad experience. Whether it's something simple, like a allergy shot, or more extensive, like a mass removal, Firehouse has got you covered!
I called and checked on Skyler and somebody text me right away and told me Skyler was out in the yard and I could go to the cameras and watch her. My husband and I enjoyed watching the cameras watching her play and have a good time as she was away from us on this short trip. She is so happy, she was so tired and you can tell she really had a great time at Pet Paradise . You can see how happy Skyler is as we picked her up and so happy.
I took my dog to a facility for a weeklong stay after reading positive reviews. Halfway through, they called to inquire if he had any issues with bowel movements. I mentioned that it might be due to anxiety. When I went to pick him up, they asked if he had any neurological problems. I was confused by the question and asked for clarification. When I saw him, he appeared in a severely compromised state—weak, bleeding from his joints, and seven pounds lighter. He didn't react to me and was struggling to breathe. His eyes were discharging a yellow-green substance. I immediately took him to an emergency vet clinic for urgent care.
We absolutely love this place. The manager Omar is always so welcoming with my pups Azul and Axul. Not to mention his staff who are just as welcoming and make the check in and check out process so fast and easy and they know all the dogs names!! The boys have a fabulous time with all the friends and staff. They play so much and get the zoomies out!! The communication with the pup parents is unremarkable. Nothing gets missed. And are you kidding me, the report cards, those are my favorite!! The furever connected is such a great add on! We love all the pics we can get!! As a pup mom, it makes me happy to see their reaction when they realize they are in paradise with all their friends.

DO NOT EVER BOARD YOUR DOG HERE. I boarded my dog over thanksgiving and then over Christmas. Over thanksgiving they gave him back to me soaking wet saying they didn’t have time to groom him even though I scheduled his boarding in June for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Today Dec.27 I was on my way home when I got a call saying they “lost” my dogs food and he didn’t have any for yesterday or today. So you mean to tell me that my dog didn’t get fed for 2 DAYS!!! So I’m already on fire and go up there to get him. When I brought him home I noticed within the first 5 min that he was licking his elbow so I took a look and both of his elbows were bloody and skinned. I called up there and of course per usual no one answered. I also called 4 separate times on Christmas Day and left 3 messages and not one time did anyone return my call. This place is a joke and has a bunch of teenagers running it. Really consider somewhere else to board your dog or cat. Rachel (regional manager) said she would reimburse for the veterinary costs but then dodged all of my calls and voicemails. I will be going up there tomorrow in person to speak to a manager personally face to face to get this resolved.
This place is amazing!!! The people here were so helpful, caring and kind to both owners and dogs. We used the daycare service and got photo updates, a report card, photos and loved the cameras to watch her play. Our puppy was so happy coming here, will definitely be my go to boarding/daycare place. She was so tired coming home so I knew she had a great day of play!! So great to know shes being well taken care of when I work. Thank you pet paradise!!
My dogs were clearly happy and loved while here. I appreciated the live feed and photos for check ins. And I loved that the manager took the time to go over one of my dogs anxiety during her temperament check and his offer to keep working with her next time they’re there.
I can't say enough good things about Pet Paradise Kyle! My dog Ellie absolutely loves it here and looks forward to going every single time. From the moment we walk in, the manager and staff greet us with such warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home. The care they provide for the dogs is truly top-notch; I know Ellie is in the best hands possible. What I appreciate the most is their excellent communication. They always keep me updated on Ellie's day, and I never have to worry about her well-being while she's there. It's such a relief to know she's having a great time and being well taken care of. I’ve used Pet Paradise for daycare and grooming and have always been satisfied. I boarded my dogs for a week there without a worry. I wish I could say I was satisfied with our boarding experience. I picked up my dogs yesterday and noticed two hot spots on one of my dogs. She’s a husky, so initially it just looked like tuffs. They weren’t though and her skin was extremely irritated. Her vet had to shave down the area to clean it. He also confirmed he did not think her irritation started yesterday. She’s now wearing a cone and taking several meditations. She’s 6 years old and has never had a hot spot. I know that things happen but I’m disappointed it went unnoticed. It breaks my heart to think she was uncomfortable or worse in pain. I’m also disappointed with the response to just confirm they didn’t notice anything. I sent pictures of how bad it looks and no one bothered to even respond to that message or reach out to check on her. You’re being trusted with pets that are loved.
Overall good experience. Difficult to catch my pup on the cameras, and confusion about times when I could catch her or delays in camera feed. There was a vaccination incomplete in her profile, and I found out at 630 on a Friday. Ultimately I was offered a reasonable solution, but initially the check in was rigid and did not take accountability for communication and application errors that did not notify me of the needed documentation.
Love this place for my dog! I love the fact that they are out to play most of the day. The price is unbeatable. Especially for all that’s offered. Every interaction with the staff has been friendly and helpful. They keep good eyes on the dogs. I can tell because my dog was new and they knew him by name already and what he liked to do. My dog loves it here and never wants me to pick him up to go home LOL I was surprised people left one star reviews on this so when I went to read them, they seemed to be from people that didn’t understand how a doggy daycare operates. Ruff Ranch has made drop off and pickup super easy, hours are great, big & safe spaces for dogs to play and more than fair pricing. Highly recommend!
I've been taking my pup Leo to Ruff Ranch for a few years now, we love it. Staff has always been so kind and welcoming. I know Leo is in good hands when I drop him off for the day.
The boys are insanely happy when they go to Ruff Ranch. Rio loves everyone and Dag, well he is an escape artist who never quite makes it out. The staff are amazing. They know our boys and Coco so well that we never feel like we are doing wrong by leaving our fur kids
My dog just loves going to Ruff Ranch and getting to run around with other dogs. Staff is always friendly and careful handling dogs. It's comforting knowing that I don't have to worry about Cora's care when I'm traveling.
Ruff Ranch is an exceptional kennel. We have used them for short and prolonged stays and I can tell you without a doubt your animals will receive the love and care and personalized attention you give them at home. The staff is top notch. The setting is beautiful natural pasture land. They truly care about your fur babies and are kind, professional and thoughtful people. If I were a dog I'd want to stay there.
I have taken my dogs to Marcy for over 10 years. Marcy and her team are amazing. They always take great care of our dogs when we are traveling. They always come home super exhausted with all the playtime. I appreciate that they make it easy to drop off and pick up while traveling. Ruff Ranch is our dog's home away from home. Boarding here is great. Our dog gets ample (sometimes more than at home...) time to play outside and be social with other dogs. Most places that board offer play time as a small, costly extra service for boarding, At Ruff Ranch play time takes place the majority of the day. The staff take great care and are flexible with scheduling. Our dog is eager and excited to see the staff - I would assume because he is treated like he's one of their own. I'd highly recommend Ruff Ranch.
Over this summer we boarded 2 of our dogs here at ruff ranch for a week and when we picked up our dogs they were VERY SKINNY as if the were not fed AT ALL! Our dogs are over 80lb-100 lbs dogs and we could see their ribs when we brought them home! I don't recommend this place after speaking with a couple other friends who said the same happened to their love pups! If I could leave no stars I would but unfortunately I have to put 1 start to share my terrible experience with others!
Boarded our two dogs for 5 nights last week so we could have a trip to the coast. It is obvious that they were very well cared for and had lots of fun ! knowing the dogs get to spend plenty of time outside in the dirt and yelling at squirrels is a huge priority for us. Both dogs were cleaned up and smelled fresh when we picked them up . We will absolutely be using Ruff Ranch again for daycare or boarding when we need it !
Ruff Ranch is amazing! I've been bringing my dog Luna here for about 6 month now, she has totally come out of her shell and is so much more happy than she's ever been! The staff is cool and I feel great knowing my dog is in good hands and is having fun! Defiantly recommend.
Denise and her husband, Brian, are fantastic pet sitters! We never have to worry about our pets when we go out of town which is very freeing. We LOVE the photos they send. I am particularly grateful to have so many photos of one of my dogs who recently passed since I am so bad at taking photos myself. Denise’s photography skills are an added bonus!
Denise has been taking care of my dog Bella for nearly 4 years now. In fact, Bella was her first client. She is kind and gentle with dogs. She has also helped me in times when I have had an emergency and has taken her in. There is no best dog sitter service anywhere that I've encountered. Trust me I am very particular when it comes to my baby. Do not look anywhere else but to agile animals, pets, sitting. You will not be disappointed. It is a family-owned and operated business built from the ground up. Let them know that Doreen referred you. They treat your dog like they are family. Denise and her husband Brian's dedication and love for dogs is very apparent and my dog loves going over there. Please do not pass them by because they are worth every penny that you get. Denise and her husband are friendly and kind. I do not leave glowing reviews like this very easily. I take whoever takes care of my dog very seriously. In fact, Denise is not just a pet sitter, but she is a pet nanny. In fact, I bought her a t-shirt saying that. So once again see. Denise and her husband Brian. They work as a team and I am grateful to have them on team Bella.
My house sitter cancelled last minute and I didn’t know what to do. I reached out to Agile and they were amazing! I was so impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. I was sent pictures and updates daily and I’m pretty sure my pets didn’t even miss me! They are definitely my go to sitters from now on!
We’ve been using On Paws for several years! They are trustworthy, responsible, and show much love to our pups when we’re gone. We love the detailed report updates and the pictures. 110% recommend them. They provide so much comfort knowing our pups are in good hand while we travel. I also appreciate the variety of services they provide, it’s impressive.
We love On Paws! Our pup gets so excited every time we drop her off and is always good and tired out when we pick her up. The owners and staff are amazing and scheduling for both daycare services and boarding is a breeze. HIGHLY recommend trying them out!
We just picked up both of our dogs from a weekend of boarding at On Paws, and we couldn’t be happier! I feel like they went on a little doggy vacation. The staff is all very friendly, provide updates with photos, and I know our babies are well taken care of. They have an app for easy booking and communication. Highly recommend!
We are big fans of On Paws!!! We have been taking our dog here since she was a baby. Every time we pull into the driveway, Mom and Dad pretty much cease to exist, and she just wants to get to daycare as fast as possible. It’s very comforting to know our pup is well cared for and that she’s enjoying herself while we are out of town. We also know our kitties at home are well cared for when On Paws comes over. We also receive text updates while we are gone, which adds additional peace of mind and makes us smile. We are very grateful to On Paws for their trustworthy care for our pets, and we highly recommend them!

On paws saved me in a very urgent situation! Petsitter cancelled at 5pm the day before we were supposed to fly out. We were able to schedule a meet and greet early the following morning. Their service was unmatched while we were away. Pictures, notes, updates each and every visit left my anxious heart knowing our babies were in good hands!
We were gone for a week and the dogs were happy and well cared for the whole time. They got lots of attention and were great when we arrived home. I love the updates I get after each visit with pictures because it gives me comfort. Thanks so much.
Very pleased with the sitters who came to home to feed 2 cats and 1 dog while I was out of town. Cats are shy, just needed food put out for them a.m/p.m. Spent time to interact with dog playing ball outside and with his toys inside. Provided a little exercise and familiar activity for his sake. I had never been away since rescuing him. I was a "Nervous Nellie' over his anxiety with strangers and being left alone. They offered no difficulties, sent status reports after each visit, including some pics which was a wonderful reassurance! I would highly recommend their care and personal attention if anyone has a need in the future❣️
Lily loves going to OnPaws. She is skittish around adults and they work with her so she will get out and play with her doggie peers. She loves dogs of all sizes!!
I can't say enough good things about Lucky to be at Home Pet Care. My pup is always so taken care of and honestly spoiled with love and affection. It makes my trips away so much more relaxing, because I don't worry when Murphy is taking care of him. Highly recommend!
Murphy and Michelle were amazing with our puppers. We have cameras at home and they were happy, well treated and respected. It made me feel happy to know they were being cared for and had company. Murphy even helped us with our mail and watered our plants! Such great service. I also loved coming home to sweet notes about our babies for every visit. It was a nice touch! I for sure will be using their services again <3

While we are away we get text updates and when we get home there are detailed notes of every single visit! Our pups are happy , they are safe, and they love their Murphy/Athena time! It means so much to us to be able to go on vacation knowing that our family is safe, loved, and cared for. I highly recommend them and have told all my friends about them.
By far the best pet sitting experience we’ve had! Murphy was great in answering any questions I had during the meet & greet and made sure I understood everything clearly. Having four dogs, I was initially worried it would be too much, but all of them took to Murphy & Aimee very well and bonded quickly! I really appreciated how much attention was paid to detail, especially having dogs with different personalities. Aimee took care of our pups while we were gone and I got several updates on how they were doing. When we got home, we had little report cards on how each visit went, which I also loved! I was able to rest easy while gone knowing my pups were in great hands, we will definitely be using them again! ❤️
We have had Murphy as our pet sitter for years, and we absolutely LOVE her and “Lucky to be at Home”! We have several indoor cats, and a few feral outdoor cats that stop by for patio meals on a daily basis. She takes care of all of them as well as our outdoor feathered friends. In addition, we have a few cats that require medications on a daily basis. Murphy handles all this without a hitch. She also handles all the incidentals that spring up. If it’s “garbage/recycle day” she’ll run the garbage and recycle cans out to the street the night before and brings them back in the following day. Mail / packages – she brings it in. She takes care of our pool and waters any plants that need watered. I could go on and on about the things she does for us. Anything that we would normally take care of if we were home, she takes care of it when we’re not. She always goes above and beyond. Murphy loves animals and it shows. Our cats adore her. She’s like the cat whisperer. As most cats are not known to be very sociable, they cozy right up to her. She sends us texts / pictures as well as leaves us note cards detailing all the shenanigans that went on each day. We look forward to returning home not only to see our fur babies but also to read her notes. Anyone that has pets, knows how hard it is to leave them behind if you have to travel. Murphy does such a fantastic job that I never worry while I’m gone that they aren’t being giving the best care ever. We wish there was a 10-star rating, because Murphy deserves it.
Let me just say that Murphy at Lucky to be at Home Pet Care saved my dogs life! My husband and I moved to Buda last fall. After researching and interviewing a few pet sitters Murphy was clearly the stand out. Her and her staff have done an excellent job caring for our baby during several vacations and long weekend trips. Murphy and her staff sincerely care about the animals they care for and take it very seriously. Our dog recently was diagnosed with diabetes. We had a wedding out of state and reluctantly went. Murphy kept in very close contact with us and monitored our dog closely. He showed signs of dehydration. She immediately sprang into to action. Communicating with us closely. Taking him to the Vet and ultimately to the hospital. He had elevated blood sugar levels if unattended could have caused him to go into shock and he could have even died. Had it not been for her caring so much for the animals she care for we could have lost our baby. If you are looking for a pet sitter, Murphy and her staff are the best!
Murphy and her team are my FAVORITE local business. We have been using them to take care of our babies for 10 years. Not only do they take amazing care of our animals (which includes the most hilarious notes about the ridiculous things our babies do at each visit - we seriously love reading them when we get home), nightly texts when everyone is tucked in, they take trash to the street if you're gone on trash day (automatically, you dont even have to ask), bring in packages, seriously - whatever you need. They've even checked our freezer daily on one trip because I was paranoid about our freezer tripping and my pumped breast milk going bad. I love coming back from vacation and our pets being home waiting for us. Murphy is incredibly detailed oriented. We know exactly what time she's coming, how long she's going to be there, and what is happening at each visit. We've had to use someone else one time in 10 years (due to poor planning on my part), and never again. Murphy is a huge blessing to our family!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I feel so lucky to have found Lucky to be at Home Pet Care. Murphy and her staff offer the perfect combination of friendly and caring with professional and dependable. I know that my dog was well cared for and treated like gold. This was a huge relief for me when traveling out of town to know that my precious pup was safe and sound. I highly recommend!
I've been using Lucky-to-be-at-home for almost six years now, and I continue to be amazed by the dedication, attention to detail, and professionalism exhibited by them on a regular basis. Another great thing about them is their flexibility and adaptability; flexibility for helping me out with a short-notice requirement for pet-sitting during Spring Break; and adaptability for adjusting to multiple changes in care requirements for some of the fur babies. Always the first to call when we need a pet sitter. They go the extra mile, not only feed, medicate and love your pets, but they also water your plants, without me even asking!!! Wonderful service. 10 stars.
