Adele was very warm and welcoming, and extremely hospitable. Communication throughout the stay was 5 stars. Lady & Tigger are such a delight to look after. Two very playful Cocker-Spaniels who enjoy company and cuddles. I would gladly look after them again.
Caring for Charlie has been a great pet and house sitting experience! He's a little love bug who I fell completely in love with. He loved his twice daily walks and would get very vigilant when he saw me putting on my shoes, and would come behind me on the stairs and lick and sniff my ear in excitement. Daily walks were requested, not required, but Charlie loved them so much it made me happy to see him so happy. Charlie loved to cuddle on the couch in the evenings, and the chair in the mornings, and was so chill. He shared my bed at night and was a very polite and considerate bed partner. Occasionally during the day he'd let me know he wanted to play, and then he'd get the frizzies, which I loved to join in. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him and it was so hard saying goodbye. Peter was great at communicating and staying in touch via WhatsApp on the family thread. He was available to answer any questions that came up. I kept the family updated on Charlie, sending them regular posts on his wellbeing. Their beautiful home and view were exceptional. The home was immaculate, comfortable, and well-cared for, so all I had to do was make sure the service people showed up at the scheduled times. And the pool was an added welcomed bonus! I've been invited back for dinner and it's an invitation I will gladly accept next time I'm in Austin. I look forward to cuddling again with sweet little Charlie. I'm so grateful for the wonderful experience and would love to sit for Charlie again!
Communication with Brenda was perfect. From the first contact, everything was super easy, and she explained everything perfectly when we met her. She’s very nice and pleasant, making everything simple for us. Brenda’s house was charming, and we felt it like home for a week. Shiro and Koji are absolutely adorable and easygoing. Shiro loves to be petted and given affection. If you sit on the couch, he’ll probably come looking for cuddles and a good hairbrush! Koji is very sweet. He seemed a bit sad at first because he missed Brenda, but once we gave him some attention and love, he started to gain confidence and seemed so happy. We’re going to miss them a lot; we already love them after just one week! We hope we can come back and see them again at some point!
I loved watching Tara's two kitties, Odin and Penny. They took a minute to warm up, but once they realized I controlled the food they were very social. They loved sitting out on the patio and watching the world go by or napping! The guest room was very comfortable and the area felt very safe and the neighbors even greeted me and were very nice. Their condo was neat and tidy and had everything I could've needed. Would definitely sit for them again!
We had lots of fun during our time with Koti and Mimi. Koti is one of the sweetest, gentlest dogs we've ever taken care of, and Mimi, after we passed her initial screening, of course, became quite cuddly too. Diana was very communicative before and during the sit and made sure we had everything we needed.
Kathy’s home is in a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by tranquility. Chokis and Stewart are total sweethearts and spent most of their days sleeping and playing with one another. Eugene’s daily upkeep was a breeze. The dogs love walks and light up whenever the leashes appear. I would love the opportunity to come back and sit for this family again. I had a wonderful stay!
