This was a great sit on beautiful Saltspring Island with Fergus, who is an absolute delight to spend time with! He is full of energy and will keep you on your toes but his sweet nature and zest for life will have you falling in love with this absolute beauty. He is enamored with birds and sits watching them as they fly around in the sky. He is a delightful creature! Alicia is a great host and her home is lovely and peaceful. We felt welcomed right away and immediately settled into the quietness of island life. We’d be happy to look after Fergus anytime! Thanks for a great sit.
This sit was a fantastic opportunity to stay in an Australian bush location close to wineries galleries cafes olive farm wood fired bread and John Miller design jewellery. The block was a fantastically peaceful location with a wonderful selection of birds visiting daily. The walk around the block was also amazingly quiet and was perfect for working on lead training with the two dogs. Mitch and Jen provided a clean tidy warm house and chopped kindling and firewood for the Kent fire. I was given some instructions for the sit, we only missed a couple of things which we communicated about as soon as possible. There was a lot of winter rain while they were away. Almost 180mm. The dogs managed a walk with me most days of the sit by day 7 showing me all of their personality and traits. Each had their funny mannerisms and quirks which I really enjoyed. It was a fun sit despite the rainy weather. Thanks for trusting me
