Massimo, Oscar and Kody are delightful dogs. They are easy to take care of : a bit of walking, a bit of playing in the garden, a bit of feeding and a bit of cuddling... normal attention and love required. The 3 of them are very obedient, which is great when walking them as they can be off leash. They do not bark, nor bite people or dogs. They are calm, happy, peaceful and easy going. The house itself is on the edge of a gigantic park !!! We walked for one hour (there + 1h back) on either side and did not get to the end of the park ! Even the dogs were tired on the way back !! lol The bed was very comfortable and Victoria even left some food for us to eat. Victoria is nice and always replies very quickly (phonecalls, texts and emails). Lots of useful information was provided prior the house/dogsit. Thank you again for this great opportunity. I had such a wonderful time staying with Serena in Charleston. The home is so comfortable and spacious, with a great work from home set up. It is well located to amazing restaurants and downtown, while still being peaceful and relaxing and close to many pretty parks. Serena is such a wonderful pup who is so cuddly and friendly. She really makes the housesitting experience particularly amazing. I am going to miss her a lot! I would highly recommend this housesit for anybody who is excited to visit Charleston and stay with one of the best dogs ever. Fiza and Tony are very friendly and hospitable too!
We loved it at David and Paul's house. They were amazing hosts, communication was great, and Louis, Harry & Fang are such lovely cats - all equally cute but with diverse personalities. We thoroughly enjoyed spending a weekend with them. Highly recommended, would sit again!!
Our sit for Suzie & Brian when we looked after Lola whilst they were away went well for us. We were made very welcome and enjoyed dinner with the hosts on the first day. Lola was amazing to look after, she soon did let us know what she wanted ie when her meal times were. She is very settled in her environment and did seem to be always keen to have her walk but not at a set time. We did take her for a local walk twice daily, also she did travel well by car. We did call in at a local cafe and Lola was very well behaved, also was friendly with other dogs which she met on the walks but not over friendly. Suzie kept in touch by phone message each day whilst they were away, a list of Lola's needs and also local attractions were given to us. On the whole we enjoyed a relaxed and friendly sit caring for Lola, we would not hesitate to sit and look after Lola again in the future if we were asked to.
Susan and her cat Boots were absolute pleasures to sit for!! The house and property were gorgeous, and I spent many evenings relaxing on the porch! Boots was the easiest cat I've ever sat for. He was so sweet and such a cuddle bug that I couldn't help but fall for him. I don't have 1 negative thing to say about my experience and would 100% sit for them again! If you get an opportunity to meet these 2 grab it!
It was an absolute pleasure meeting Roger, Karen, and Gypsy! We are grateful we got to know them and would happily sit for them again in the future. Their home was very welcoming, clean, and cozy… Even more so with a sweet girl like Gypsy to snuggle with. She will lay with you for as long as you’re willing to cuddle and if you stop petting her, she will nudge your hand to make sure you continue with petting time. So cute! We miss her already! Roger and Karen left us a detailed welcome guide that provided us with instructions that made the sit a breeze.
