Dougal is a beautiful dog who settled quite well with us both. He walks beautifully has his routine and likes to stick to it. He can be vocal when he wants to play but is fine once you throw him his toy. The house is beautiful and in a nice location. We are happy to be sitting again for Dougal in the near future. There is a cafe within walking distance and Dougal sits nicely whilst you enjoy a coffee.
This was such a great housesit/cat sit. The house was beautiful, and in such a great neighborhood. The bed was so comfy, the bath tub was amazing and the kitchen and backyard where beautiful. The thing is, the house was amazing and the cats were some of the sweetest cats I have ever taken care of. Jelly is such a sweetheart and loves cuddles and gives some of the best cuddles I’ve had from a kitty, and Ravi who is a bit more independent and outside is super sweet and when you see him he will give some affection. Also, on top of this Kendra and Melissa are such great hosts, and I felt really welcome. For anyone who loves animals, I would recommend this sit.
Pilar and Ryan were so pleasant to sit for! They were very thorough about instructions and highly communicative. Lulu and Canela were the sweetest dogs with exceptional manners and cuddles! They have a pristine home in a fantastic location so that also made the stay very enjoyable. I highly recommend and would happily sit for them again :)
Seamus is a total treat to sit. He is calm and gentle and loves his walks. He is intelligent and is very good at telling you when he wishes to go outside. It is exciting to see him when he decides to spend some energy and do a few laps around the back yard at neck breaking speed. Patrice is a loving owner and her house is a great place to spend time and hang with Seamus She has great neighbors and a wonderful neighborhood which is centrally located in The Villages. Everyone was wonderful to us. We will be happy to care for Seamus whenever we are available. Patrice, thank you for the privilege of allowing us to spend time with your loveable Gentle Giant Seamus.
I (Johnathan) had a fantastic stay at Marianne and Nigel's home, looking after their stunning Dalmatian, Rio. Their home was clean and peaceful, and Rio was an absolute joy to care for. Upon my arrival, Marianne and Nigel greeted me warmly and treated me to a lovely lunch, which was incredibly kind. Marianne then gave me a thorough tour of the local area, including the supermarket, pubs, local shops, and places to walk Rio. That evening, Marianne cooked a wonderful dinner, and I enjoyed getting to know both of them. They left early the next morning, leaving me with their sweet-natured, well-behaved, and well-trained dog. Rio was a delightful companion, sitting with me while I worked and helping me water the garden in the evenings!! Her recall was excellent, making walks easy as she didn't pull and behaved well around other dogs. The house and garden are beautifully maintained, with the kitchen serving as a great space for both work and cooking. The paddock at the back was perfect for taking Rio out a couple of times a day. My room was very cosy, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. I highly recommend this house sit to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of the UK. Marianne and Nigel were lovely, kind hosts, and I would house sit for them again in a heartbeat.
What a wonderful house sit in such a beautiful valley! Robyn was so friendly and helpful, communication was excellent and the house extremely comfortable. The farm chores were easy and enjoyable as her animals are so friendly and fun to be around. I can't recommend this sit more highly!
