Carrie came the night prior to the sit to pick up keys and go over some house items. Carrie took care of the house, Betsy snd Sawyer wonderfully!
I loved taking care of Ivy! She's an active 1 year old that loves to get into things (some things she should be getting into haha) and playing ball. She's so sweet and loving, and made me laugh so much. To get some of her "puppy" energy out I took her to several different dog parks nearby (which there are plenty) and she loved it and loved all the dogs there. Dana and Ben's house is so cozy. I loved hanging out on the couch after work with Ivy (again, playing with something haha). Ivy did sleep during the day while I was working at the kitchen table, but she was ready to play in the afternoon. So please make sure that you are willing to give her some special playtime.
Andi and Beau are wonderful. Andi was welcoming and helpful and was great with communication throughout our sit. Beau is a sweetheart and easy to care for and love. The house is peaceful and well cared for. We greatly enjoyed our time.
Lydia and Roger are amazing hosts and also the lucky parents of a sweet cat, Belle. Belle is a polite and curious creature who will happily watch you work or cook (she has strategically placed observation points), follow you around the flat, or sit next to you on the couch in anticipation of some occasional brushing 😊 Lydia and Roger made me feel incredibly welcome, so I immediately felt at home. They are super easy to communicate with, and on top of that, they are extremely well-rounded and fascinating conversationalists. The location of the flat is hard to beat. It is central to everything and offers a beautiful view of the castle and the Meadows. It made my first visit to Edinburgh truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend this sit enough! It's an 11 out of 10 from me! I left yesterday, and I already want to go back 😊
During my visit to the Denver area, I had the opportunity to housesit for Jennifer, Dan, and Cameron to care for their sweet, gentle giant, Bella. Bella, aka “the brown shadow” loves to be with people and followed me around the house and stayed near me whether I went, with the exception of night time, which she always would go up to Cameron’s room to sleep. But just like a teenager, I had to wake Bella up each morning to get her going! The home was extremely comfortable and was great for my work from home needs. The internet was blazing fast and I was able to setup in Dan’s office which was very comfortable, had lots of light, and its own bathroom. The kitchen was awesome, the guest bed very comfortable, and the shower had the best water pressure that I think that I have ever experienced. I thoroughly enjoyed their hot tub a few evenings while I was there and their awesome Nespresso coffee maker with an extensive selection of coffee, which they invited me to enjoy. I enjoyed walks with Bella through their neighborhood and at Elk Ridge Park, which was behind their home. Jennifer had put together a very extensive list of instructions and information and was very available to communicate while they were away on their trip to answer any questions or to just check in and chat. I had the opportunity to meet Jennifer, Dan, and Cameron before they left and they are a super nice family. The best part of doing Trusted House Sitters is the people you meet, and this family is a prime example of why I enjoy doing this so much when I am traveling. Bottom line – if you are looking for a housesit in the Denver area and this one is available, then I highly recommend it!
Turk was a very chill old man to hang with while Housesitting for Jennifer. She left clear instructions for his care and made a very comfortable setup for our stay. I appreciated the hospitality and enjoyed the communicative care for making Turk comfortable while they were gone!
I had a very lovely time staying in Shani's home. Loved checking out the Multnomah neighborhood and Chickie was a real treat to care for. After some initial shyness, she warmed up and became my snuggle buddy :)

Thank you Maria for watching my baby whiskers on such short notice. I came home to a posted notice from my landlord that they would be coming in to check on the smoke detectors & pets needed to be put away. I reached out to Maria and she responded super quickly and was able to take him in last minute. I appreciate you so much.! Wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to watch my baby!
Great service ! Maria took care of my cats while I was in Cancun vacationing 🥲 cats are pretty independent but they still need their litter box cleaned and water fountains refilled ! Not only that but I have a needy cat that requires cuddles daily which she provided 😅 my cats approve ! …
Maria (and her mom) were both so wonderful to my dog Dodger. I got daily updates, along with adorable photos, while on my vacation, so I knew Dodger was in good hands. I didn't worry for a minute. They even gave him his daily pills for his heart condition...such great service
Thank you Maria for the great service! We appreciate the flexibility and hours, such a relive we were able to enjoy our night out leaving our baby in great hands! Definitely will be back for more date nights in the future.
The service was excellent and my dog had such a nice time away from home with lots of attention and care! I love that it’s in a home setting instead of kennels
