Madison and Erik were great! We needed a sit on fairly short notice and we were so glad they volunteered to come stay with Hazel for the weekend. Madison and Erik were great communicators and brought a lot of positive energy to our house. We have never gotten so many photos and videos of Hazel from a sitter in such a short time; several times a day Madison and Erik sent us pictures and movies of Hazel having fun.

When Hazel sustained a minor injury the week before the sit (thankfully our pup is just fine) Madison and Erik were very reassuring that Hazel would be all right in their care and they followed the instructions we left to keep her cushion collar on whenever they had to leave her unattended. We came home to a happy dog and a clean house. Madison and Erik are welcome back to watch Hazel anytime!

We absolutely loved this sit! The highlights were Twiggy, Lola and Tinka. They were all adorable!
So well behaved, great company and just such a pleasure to be with and fuss over.
The home and garden was beautiful. Everything you could want and need.
The handover was a breeze with detailed handover notes.
The walks were lovely from the house with many streams that Lola could jump in. She loves water!
This was an amazing sit and would jump at the opportunity to return 😀

Tracie
Tracie's Luke and Dana won my heart. They seem to have that effect on people. While walking them, I was stopped by a woman who asked to snap their picture. Two other people told me how cute "my" dogs were and asked about their breeds. If you enjoy taking care of babies, these are the dogs for you. You can hold them, cuddle them and baby them. They have a regular schedule so you cannot be gone for more than a few hours during the day. They thrive on your presence, They slept in bed with me and even cuddled up to me, which I adored. Tracie is meticulous with their care. Because they both have special medical needs, it is important to follow her instructions to a T with regard to meds and diet and keep an eye on their status. Tracie's large studio is equipped with everything you will need. It's in a luxury high-rise in the trendy Navy Yard/Ballpark section of DC just one block from the Green Line. I thoroughly enjoyed big city living with two little angels and a mom who is kind, appreciative and a delight to know. I would love to take care of Luke and Dana again in the future.

Sue
It was a wonderful sit, thank you! Everything was explained before I started the sit and Sue was also available on the phone throughout the sit in case I had any questions.

Pebble was so lovely, it was a pleasure to take care of her and spend time together! We had a wonderful time exploring the area and playing at home. Pebble has her routine which works great and it's straightforward. The house is incredibly nice, comfortable and clean. The location is stunning, perfect for long walks and enjoying the nature. I really recommend it, I would pet-sit here again without any hesitation!

Chris and Sue
This was a fabulous sit for the very organised Chris and Sue, and the inimitable Mimsy. The location is awesome – quiet, green, peaceful and good for the soul! The house is wonderfully well-appointed and the garden a delight. Mimsy is a beautiful Burmese with a highly independent character, who is also extremely affectionate once one wins her trust. The village is surrounded by rolling countryside and there is a small village shop for essentials, and a lovely old pub. I had an really great month’s stay here and would unreservedly recommend it for an authentic slice of English country life. Many thanks, Chris and Sue!

Heidi
We had an amazing time housesitting for Heidi and her family! Their younger puppy Humphrey was staying with a fellow puppy owning friend so we enjoyed a peaceful week with Sadie. She was an absolute lovebug and cozied up to us wherever we were in the house. Heidi's home was gorgeous and fully setup with everything we could need for our stay, it truly felt like a home away from home. We would highly recommend housesitting for Heidi to any of our fellow THS travellers!
