Really enjoyed living in this traditional town house in Bristol. The two dogs lace n tea were so sweat and full of energy, they love a cuddle and a long walk. The house is located near quite a few parks n a really nice cemetery. The dogs are calm around other dogs so not stressful on walks in busy parks. Hope to stay again
This was a really easy, peaceful place to be. Kitties were very shy at first but really warmed up and provided good entertainment! Andrea was great, left printed out detailed instructions for care of the property and cats. I would recommend this sit and gladly do it again.
Looking after Amy's home and wonderful dog, Pilot was a real pleasure. Pilot really warmed up to me within the first day and I felt like his good friend by day 2. He is a sweet dog who is affectionate, excited to have a new friend, and very well behaved. The home and neighborhood are lovely and well kept. Amy understood what I would need to know about her home and dog to serve them well and for both of us to be comfortable while she and her family were away. When I had a question, she responded to texts promptly even when out of the country. Additionally, Amy and her family were a real pleasure to get to know personally and took the time for us to do that. They were also interested in what I might like to do while in the area and provided suggestions for local activities (hikes for me!) as well as shops, restaurants, and groceries. I would highly recommend looking after Pilot for Amy and would do so again in the future if asked.
We loved looking after beautiful Luna, the Bengal cat. She was lively, inquisitive and very friendly. For the first 24 hours Luna was a little shy, but then entertained us with her playful antics, and enjoyed cuddling up to us on the sofa and sleeping on the bed with us. She liked catching our feet under the duvet! We fed the wild ducks every day... apparently we just missed the new ducklings, who arrived the day after we left! Martin and Kay's house was really beautiful, sparkling clean and comfortable, with all mod cons. It's situated at the end of a quiet drive and felt like being in a peaceful, green oasis. It was well located for strolls along the seafront into Whitstable, and many seaside cycle rides. We also cycled The Crab and Winkle Way into Canterbury. Our van failed to start just as we were about to leave the sit, and Martin and Kay were happy for us to leave it on their drive over night, while we stayed at friends and waited for the breakdown truck to arrive. They kindly offered to store our bikes if needed, but luckily the van was repaired and we were on our way. Thank you for your help! This was a lovely sit-thank you to Martin, Kay and Luna.
We had the best time staying at Dee's house on Orcas Island and looking after Miss Daisy Gigi Hot-Pants! Everything about this sit was just wonderful. First, Dee is a true gem - a warm, kind, and generous person who we loved meeting and getting to know. She made us feel right at home from day one and put a lot of effort into introducing us to people and showing us around the local area. Daisy is just a wonderful little dog and we love her! She is full of personality and very affectionate. She loves going for walks, but is also happy to chill and hang out. We were her very first sitters, and she adjusted to us really well. Dee's house is amazing - super comfortable, with breathtaking views of East Sound and neighboring islands. We had everything we needed during our stay, and the town is just a short drive away. Her property is private and peaceful, and her garden is very easy to look after. The town of Eastsound and Orcas Island more broadly is just a truly special place with a wonderful sense of community. There is always something going on, and the food from the local restaurants and bakeries is incredible. If you love art and craft, you will feel right at home. We loved everything about our stay at Dee's - if you get the chance, we highly recommend sitting for her!
This was a fantastic house sit. Kathy and Jeremy were so welcoming. They showed us around Krabi and Ao Nang, helped us to rent a scooter, pick us up from the airport at different times, shared loads of information with us and really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable with everything. It was great to get to know them. Jazz was so easy to take care of. She is such a friendly dog with excellent manners and a great personality. We miss her already. The two cats, Limpy and Stumpy, were very chilled out. They let us know exactly when they wanted a cuddle and some food or when they wanted some alone time. The house is so nice with a beautiful garden and had everything we needed. We had our own separate guest house to get comfortable and feel at home in. The neighbours were also very friendly and we enjoyed meeting them. There are so many things to do in the area. It has become my favourite part of Thailand. I would highly recommend it for other house sitters.
