Looking after Louis and Hugo was truly enjoyable! The cats are really relaxed and friendly, such lovely company at the house, such low maintenance. Jennifer is an awesome host, really lovely, interesting and easy to communicate with. Her house is cosy and comfortable. Very close to the sea with endless walks and magical sunsets. It was absolute pleasure to sit for these most gracious people. They welcomed me with open arms into their lovely, well kept home and property. Their dog, Lucy, is a lover, well mannered and all around easy to care for. Walking her in the nearby woods was a treat as she is good on the leash and the forests are beautiful. I would recommend this sit to anyone who likes to hike with a dog and who enjoys beautiful surroundings.
Bramble was amazingly well behaved for us, he was a joy. He’s very playful - out on walks he’d be chasing leaves in the wind which was adorable! He’s also very affectionate, always approaching for cuddles and fuss! The hens were easy to care for and it was nice to have fresh eggs every morning. Rebecca and family were so welcoming and their home is immaculately clean and tidy and comfortable. The welcome guide Rebecca did was very clear and easy to follow. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this sit.
It was a pleasure to stay in Amy & Elliot's beautiful home. It was well located with the park, fields, shop and cafe all in short walking distance. Both dogs were lovely. Lunar the older Shepherd who had experienced a short period on the streets would always be close by and hated to be left alone. Louis the young Collie had boundless energy. He absolutely loved to run in the fields. Both dogs behaved well, showed a lot of affection and appreciated long walks - they could just keep going and going without slowing down. Amy was extremely responsive and helpful to any questions that arose. This was our first sit on THS and we absolutely recommend it.
This sit was very cozy. The kitties are pretty chill and easy to care for. They mainly kept to themselves while I was there and sometimes Odin would get the zoomies which was cute to watch. I did see some wildlife from the balcony and as I drove in/out of the neighborhood which was pretty cool!
Monica was very kind and her house was absolutely lovely. Maya is a super sweet and calm dog who loves to be with people and was always right by our side. Monica also has a tenant living in the bottom of her house called Lance who was also super sweet and helpful! We had a great time in Asheville with Maya and we are sure you would too!
