The first meet and greet, Kate and her colleague came to meet our puppy and go over in detail what was expected during her dog walks, training, habits etc. She also shadow her colleague on the first few days to make sure it was a smooth transition for our girl. We have been customers for almost a year now. 100% reliable, caring, pay attention to detail and my dog loves her caretakers! The best part is our work is both mental and physically tiring so to come home to a happy tired dog is worth every penny. We absolutely love Kates K9 pet service. All the dog walkers have been great and our dogs love them. The app makes it so easy to request a day and time, make payments and communicate. Kate's Pet Care is without a doubt the best I have had in the area. She is so kind and my cat and dog love her. I never have to worry when I am away that they are not getting the best care or attention, and I always get lots of updates on her app about the visits. She offers a great value for what she provides. I tried other services like Becky's Pet Care and had a few really bad experiences. I have a dog, cat, and a fish tank, and she has taken care of all of them.

Kate and her crew are absolutely wonderful. Very reliable and accommodating; they do their research and are more than willing to give individualized special care for each pet. Travis was excellent taking care of my minipig while I was away, following instructions down to a tee and making sure she got everything she needed. I didn't have to worry one bit. The report cards are great so you know how your pet is doing during each visit.

I found Kates pet sitting service after looking for a long time for someone to watch my pets. I have a dog who is very shy but super sweet and most people are scared of him, and won’t give him a chance. Kates team is super patient with him and it shows. Kevin has done a great job with my now 10 month lab mix. Initially she was pulling and we had a hard time stopping her from destroying things. With a month of training my family and friends have all seen major improvement! Kevin also helped us get her on an appropriate schedule and use the appropriate accessories(leash, toys) to maintain control and keep her mind active!

Kevin is amazing with dogs! I have trained my own dogs previously but my current puppy was a challenge. After one day of training I seen improvement. He not only trained my dog he trained me on how to communicate and lead my dog. Overall it has been a great experience.

Kevin has worked with my pup since he was 8 weeks old. Basic obedience and potty training was a breeze.. My pup is now CGC certified and will be a year old next month. He's looking forward to day care with Kevin. Their male bonding is very strong. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur baby.

I started taking my dog, Missy, here during the pandemic and she LOVES it. Whenever we get close to the house, Missy starts jumping and getting super excited and almost busts out of the car door! I love leaving her with Jess because they treat Missy like one of their own furry family members with cuddles and playtime - and that means a lot to me.

Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. I really trust Peticular Charm to look after my dog and give him the walks he craves in the middle of the day.

Chris and his team of walkers are great. Mark has walked our dog for a number of months and we've been super happy (as has our puppy). I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! Chris is also a very well read, traveled, cultured musician with a fascinating life. My dogs are in interesting company - kinda jealous!

The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!

We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

We've been working with C-PUP for dog walking and dog sitting for over a year now. C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. A chipper young chap welcomes the gang with a grin that could light up a room. The furry duo, Kitty and Koddie, leap out of the car, and Kitty's already best pals with Mr. Sunshine. It was like a red carpet moment! Mr. Sunshine gives the green light for the fur babies to stay while Kitty plays tag with him in the play yard. Who knew pet care could be this fun? Fast forward to pick-up time: Kitty and Koddie refuse to budge - even preventing bathroom breaks for the humans! What a hit! The pets were giving Lulu & Pals a standing ovation after just one day. Now, it's a daily ritual of excitement for Koddie, eagerly waiting to head to "school," while Kitty's busy being a prankster. It's a full-blown furry fiesta! Discovering this pet paradise was like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. If only this was the starting line instead of the last resort! Getting them in the door is a breeze, but prying them away? Good luck! It's a tail-wagging, paw-swinging success story, and I'm head-over-heels in love with this place.

Danny walked our senior girl for her last year and he was very sweet with her. He's clearly very comfortable managing all sorts of dogs and combinations of dogs. It made me happy thinking her having a little social life with neighborhood doggies during the week. Danny was also extremely flexible and accommodating with my frequently changing schedule. When we get a new dog we will have Danny walk them too.

I don’t leave my dogs often, because they need extra care and they are older dogs, but I went out of town for a week, Daryl sent pictures to show me how good they we’re doing .He made feel worry free. I gave him medicine to make sure that the dogs had to take every day. He made sure that was done and he was great!!, also was on time when I dropped my dogs off. No wait time when I picked them up they were well taken care of and in very good hands thank you Daryl will use you again soon😍😍!! Highly recommended!!

I thought I was making the best decision for my pets when I took my cane Corsos to Darryl . I dropped them off . I was met by Darryl he’s pretty nice personality my male is 2 yrs old and didn’t like him at all but he insisted that he stays a young lady that lives near him came up and my male attached to her quickly . I appreciate that I had a place to take them what I don’t appreciate is being called saying my 6 mos old female is throwing up while I was out of town. Then was told on the third day did she eat a blue cloth of some sort? I ask to so me a picture Darryl said he tossed it . My male is shaking his head a lot and my female I was told wasn’t eating so their home and was drinking so much water for about 20min back and forth my male is sleeping and my female is drinking like crazy and she is also eating I feel fleas biting he had my dogs and his drinking out of a small bowl . How sad. I will never return.

Lulu was just a puppy when i got her from the rescue center. After a year of working at home, i’d begun a new position and didn’t want to keep lulu home alone all day long. A friend referred me to Darryl. He has been Heaven sent! I was having some trouble getting lulu fully trained and on a schedule. Darryl helped so much with all of the things we needed. Lulu is happy! She gets excited when we arrive. The atmosphere is clean, calm and controlled. There are lots of “puppy friends” for her to engage with. Darryl remains professional yet personable and he definitely seems to have a great rapport with other owners. Pricing is very affordable and the environment is welcoming. Thanks so much!! I wish there was a -1 rating!!! I have been a dog owner for roughly 13 years, and I've never experienced this level of incompetence EVER! I have boarded my dog in Atlanta, MD, DC, and VA over the past 12.7 years. This "business" was referred 2 me by a colleague, but after my initial visit, I wanted 2 back out but was locked in because of a family vacation during Xmas. Upon arrival, he was late, and the house (feels like his mother's house) reeked of weed. No judgment becuz it was legal, but he could have waited until I left. He said he was/is an Animal Care Techician, but I would argue that the certificate should be rescinded! I gave care instructions that were not followed. When my dog returned, he was sullen. I plan to file a complaint w/ the BBB in his county. Oh, and I forgot, he didn't return certain items and tried 2 charge me a fee 2 mail them to me. DO NOT TAKE UR PET TO HIM!!!

My husband and I recently moved to the Navy Yard area with our 2 cats. We travel frequently, and finding someone new to care for them was a huge stress for us. We selected Saving Grace because of their reviews, and we have not been disappointed. We have used them on three separate occasions, and all three times, Paul Weiss was the caregiver. He leaves daily notes and will send photos if requested. Our most recent trip was two weeks long, and he watered our plants and freshened the litter box. We are so very happy with their service and highly recommend Saving Grace.

I've used Saving Grace Petcare for almost a year now to care for my cat while I'm out of town. They truly are a saving grace! We have had wonderful experiences with Saving Grace dogwalking and boarding services. Our dogwalker, Selena, is the best! She is very reliable and leaves us notes each day to let us know how the walk was. She was especially wonderful in working with us on special requests when our senior dog was quite ill. We now have a young dog and she is very patient as he learns his puppy manners! Saving Grace has also been a great service for pet-sitting, even over longer holiday trips! Our pets have always been very well-cared for with SG services! Highly recommend if you have pets in the Capitol Hill area!

I've used Saving Grace for cat sitting for at least the last three years. It's almost always the same woman who comes and visits, and my normally shy tuxedo has developed quite a fondness for her. Great service, can't recommend enough.

Tisha and her team are simply the best if you live in this neighborhood. I have worked with a few of the different petsitters in the past 18 months and have always been impressed--each one is a devoted animal lover, and treated my (loud, nosy, and often difficult) cat as their own. I cannot say enough good things about Saving Grace!

Really easy, web-based services that are perfect for helping busy people arrange pet care. I got daily updates with photos letting me know how my pet was doing while I traveled, and the pet sitter, Nancy, did an awesome job making the effort to connect with my pet and keep me in the loop. Highly recommended!

I am providing this rating because of Buster's dog walker - Aaron. He is the best! He takes extra time with Buster, he carries him down the block to ensure that he gets a walk rather than taking him out and bringing him right back in. We are fortunate to have Aaron as Buster's walker!

I've been using saving grace for two years now and have never had an issue. The staff are friendly and always leave a helpful note with a summary of the walk. I would recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. The owner Grace is some gross right winger living in the 1950s. She didn't respect my pronouns and mocked instead, saying she "doesn't care".

What an outstanding experience we had in working with Tails of the City! I have worked with the owner, Thai, who is extremely responsive and dependable. There is no doubt why her business has been so successful for the past 16 years. They offer Born to Run Fitness, which addresses the exercise needs of our four legged friends. They have also has outlasted most of their competition. Thai staffs all her areas within Maryland/DC & VA with professionals who serve all her customers reliably on time.
