Victoria and Chris are a warm and welcoming couple with two very sweet Dachshunds. We very much enjoyed our time caring for Poppy and Rosie, taking them for good walks and playing with them in the garden. They are two of the sweetest, most endearing Dachshunds that we've looked after. Victoria and Chris' house is comfortable and well-appointed, and if you have the opportunity to housesit for them, and to look after Rosie and Poppy, we definitely recommend you do so!
We had a wonderful time looking after Pippa, Maddie & Alphy in Ljubljana! Debbie was excellent to deal with all the way from the beginning to the end and was easy to communicate with. Especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house! We loved having dinner with them the night before we were due to start the sit, and had a delicious meal with both our families together, compliments of Eric! This was a great icebreaker and helped all of us to feel comfortable with the whole sit and were able to go over important details of our stay. Ljubljana is an awesome city and easily accessible via public transport from the house. There is plenty to see nearby as well including the local lake and playground (a godsend for our kids) and we can strongly recommend making the hike up Rožnik in Tivoli park for doughnuts and drinks! (Flancita and Kava?) Pippa, Maddie and Alphy were easy dogs to look after and we really enjoyed our daily walks and backyard ball games. I had a great time with Miao taking care of her for 2 weeks! Miao is a very cute and independent cat, she slept on my legs only after 10 days! But it was a pleasure to look after her, is a very easy-going cat. Vitor & Rodolfo provided everything needed and explained everything in detail. Communication before and during the sit was great, they answered all my questions promptly. The location is well connected, it’s only 10 minutes walk away from two metro stations and a bus stop is just in front of the house so it is easy to move to other neighborhoods in London. I enjoyed the experience and I am grateful for the opportunity!

"Star" is the best feline, easiest to care, extra cuddly, and outspoken in "kitty cat" communication skills. What an amazing housesit with two delightful cats and wonderful hosts! We simply LOVE Mr Meowgi and Chunky - two hilarious and adorable kitties with their own quirks and personalities who brought us so much joy! Meowgi loves chatting and being held like a baby - he always needs to be on or around you (which we personally love). Chunky is an independent girl who loves snoozing in different spots - so it was very special when she graced us with her presence and curled up on our laps! Feeding and care instructions were clear and easy to follow. We feel deep gratitude toward hosts Lany and Ben for being flexible with our arrival and generously welcoming us into their home. Lany was able to show us the cats’ feeding routines, and her warmth made us feel at home immediately. All communication was friendly and responsive, and Lany also gave us local recommendations for vegan food and climbing gyms - the area is full of fun, delicious options! We feel very lucky to have been chosen for this sit - 110% would love to sit here again!
Charlottes home is beautiful and her pets are all so sweet and easy to care for with the written instructions provided. Charlie gravitated towards me right away and was eager for belly rubs...Chewy is younger and has more energy but is still a very sweet boy but needs more direction. Both kitties love cuddles but mostly did their own thing. The neighborhood is super charming, well landscaped and clean with poo bags and trash cans everywhere. If you're real quiet you can hear the ocean waves at night. The Kitty litter box was quite full when I arrived and I also had to contact membership services so that Charlotte would send the welcome guide (and her contact info) because it hadn't been sent until less than 24 hours before the start of the sit. Once that was all sorted Charlotte was easy to communicate and the rest was a breeze. I would recommend the sit and already miss Charlie and chewy as they are good company and you can't beat the setting of the Coronado Cays!

Kate's Pet Care is without a doubt the best I have had in the area. She is so kind and my cat and dog love her. Kevin has done a great job with my now 10 month lab mix. Initially she was pulling and we had a hard time stopping her from destroying things. With a month of training my family and friends have all seen major improvement! Kevin also helped us get her on an appropriate schedule and use the appropriate accessories(leash, toys) to maintain control and keep her mind active!
Kevin is amazing with dogs! I have trained my own dogs previously but my current puppy was a challenge. After one day of training I seen improvement. He not only trained my dog he trained me on how to communicate and lead my dog. Overall it has been a great experience.

I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!

We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. What a wild ride! Imagine the nerve-wracking tale of leaving behind Koddie, the aging, deaf, and sight-weary dog with a kidney clock ticking, plus Kitty, the separation-anxiety-stricken German Shepherd service superstar. And of course, Kitty's got allergies, while Koddie's excuse is just being old - classic Koddie! 😂 Switching from a pet place horror story, the scene shifts to a whole new world. A chipper young chap welcomes the gang with a grin that could light up a room. The furry duo, Kitty and Koddie, leap out of the car, and Kitty's already best pals with Mr. Sunshine. It was like a red carpet moment! Mr. Sunshine gives the green light for the fur babies to stay while Kitty plays tag with him in the play yard. Who knew pet care could be this fun? Fast forward to pick-up time: Kitty and Koddie refuse to budge - even preventing bathroom breaks for the humans! What a hit! The pets were giving Lulu & Pals a standing ovation after just one day. Now, it's a daily ritual of excitement for Koddie, eagerly waiting to head to "school," while Kitty's busy being a prankster. It's a full-blown furry fiesta! Discovering this pet paradise was like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. If only this was the starting line instead of the last resort! Getting them in the door is a breeze, but prying them away? Good luck! It's a tail-wagging, paw-swinging success story, and I'm head-over-heels in love with this place.

Danny walked our senior girl for her last year and he was very sweet with her. He's clearly very comfortable managing all sorts of dogs and combinations of dogs. It made me happy thinking her having a little social life with neighborhood doggies during the week. Danny was also extremely flexible and accommodating with my frequently changing schedule. When we get a new dog we will have Danny walk them too.

We have been using Danny’s Pet Care for the last 4 years- they are amazing! We are very happy with the care they provide to our 2 dogs. The dogs love their regular daily dogwalker who also occasionally dog sits when we’re out of town- we trust him completely and know our dogs are in good hands! Danny is very responsive to any questions/requests and organized in his management. He also clearly cares for the well-being of his staff as much as for his clients. Highly recommend them for any pet care needs!

We've been clients of Danny's Pet Care for almost three years. We are super happy with our walker who knows our dog really well and cares for him like he is her own. The walks are long and are great opportunities for socialization if your dog is up for that. Danny is always communicative about holidays and breaks and we're super pleased!
Danny is truly the best. He has been our cat sitter for a little over a year now and has been nothing but kind and easy to work with. He always goes above and beyond to make sure our cat has what he needs and any accidents have been taken care of. We cannot recommend Danny enough.
I don’t leave my dogs often, because they need extra care and they are older dogs, but I went out of town for a week, Daryl sent pictures to show me how good they we’re doing .He made feel worry free. I gave him medicine to make sure that the dogs had to take every day. He made sure that was done and he was great!!, also was on time when I dropped my dogs off. No wait time when I picked them up they were well taken care of and in very good hands thank you Daryl will use you again soon😍😍!! Highly recommended!!
Great petsitting option and always listens to concerns and training suggestions. If you are working on a skill Darryl make sure to incorporate and reiterate it during the day while you fur baby is there. Our pup has been going here for almost 2 year
I thought I was making the best decision for my pets when I took my cane Corsos to Darryl . I dropped them off . I was met by Darryl he’s pretty nice personality my male is 2 yrs old and didn’t like him at all but he insisted that he stays a young lady that lives near him came up and my male attached to her quickly . I appreciate that I had a place to take them what I don’t appreciate is being called saying my 6 mos old female is throwing up while I was out of town. Then was told on the third day did she eat a blue cloth of some sort? I ask to so me a picture Darryl said he tossed it . My male is shaking his head a lot and my female I was told wasn’t eating so their home and was drinking so much water for about 20min back and forth my male is sleeping and my female is drinking like crazy and she is also eating I feel fleas biting he had my dogs and his drinking out of a small bowl . How sad. I will never return.
No worries when I drop my dog off, he loves what he does and it shows. My Goldendoodle Kingston loves coming here. Darryl takes great care of him whether it’s daycare or boarding ❤️

Lulu was just a puppy when i got her from the rescue center. After a year of working at home, i’d begun a new position and didn’t want to keep lulu home alone all day long. A friend referred me to Darryl. He has been Heaven sent! I was having some trouble getting lulu fully trained and on a schedule. Darryl helped so much with all of the things we needed. Lulu is happy! She gets excited when we arrive. The atmosphere is clean, calm and controlled. There are lots of “puppy friends” for her to engage with. Darryl remains professional yet personable and he definitely seems to have a great rapport with other owners. Pricing is very affordable and the environment is welcoming. Thanks so much!! We’re going to continue using this service.

I wish there was a -1 rating!!! I have been a dog owner for roughly 13 years, and I've never experienced this level of incompetence EVER! I have boarded my dog in Atlanta, MD, DC, and VA over the past 12.7 years. This "business" was referred 2 me by a colleague, but after my initial visit, I wanted 2 back out but was locked in because of a family vacation during Xmas. Upon arrival, he was late, and the house (feels like his mother's house) reeked of weed. No judgment becuz it was legal, but he could have waited until I left. He said he was/is an Animal Care Techician, but I would argue that the certificate should be rescinded! I gave care instructions that were not followed. When my dog returned, he was sullen. I plan to file a complaint w/ the BBB in his county. Oh, and I forgot, he didn't return certain items and tried 2 charge me a fee 2 mail them to me. DO NOT TAKE UR PET TO HIM!!!

My husband and I recently moved to the Navy Yard area with our 2 cats. We travel frequently, and finding someone new to care for them was a huge stress for us. We selected Saving Grace because of their reviews, and we have not been disappointed. We have used them on three separate occasions, and all three times, Paul Weiss was the caregiver. He leaves daily notes and will send photos if requested. Our most recent trip was two weeks long, and he watered our plants and freshened the litter box. We are so very happy with their service and highly recommend Saving Grace.
I've used Saving Grace Petcare for almost a year now to care for my cat while I'm out of town. They truly are a saving grace! I don't know what I would do without a neighborhood petsitting group like this one. Very easy to drop off my keys before leaving town and they take care of everything. Very attentive staff as well -- I always receive cute photos and updates on how my cat is doing. We have had wonderful experiences with Saving Grace dogwalking and boarding services. Our dogwalker, Selena, is the best! She is very reliable and leaves us notes each day to let us know how the walk was. She was especially wonderful in working with us on special requests when our senior dog was quite ill. We now have a young dog and she is very patient as he learns his puppy manners! Saving Grace has also been a great service for pet-sitting, even over longer holiday trips! Our pets have always been very well-cared for with SG services! Highly recommend if you have pets in the Capitol Hill area!
I've used Saving Grace for cat sitting for at least the last three years. It's almost always the same woman who comes and visits, and my normally shy tuxedo has developed quite a fondness for her. Great service, can't recommend enough.
Tisha and her team are simply the best if you live in this neighborhood. I have worked with a few of the different petsitters in the past 18 months and have always been impressed--each one is a devoted animal lover, and treated my (loud, nosy, and often difficult) cat as their own. Really easy, web-based services that are perfect for helping busy people arrange pet care. I got daily updates with photos letting me know how my pet was doing while I traveled, and the pet sitter, Nancy, did an awesome job making the effort to connect with my pet and keep me in the loop. Highly recommended!
I am providing this rating because of Buster's dog walker - Aaron. He is the best! He takes extra time with Buster, he carries him down the block to ensure that he gets a walk rather than taking him out and bringing him right back in. We are fortunate to have Aaron as Buster's walker!
I've been using saving grace for two years now and have never had an issue. The staff are friendly and always leave a helpful note with a summary of the walk. I would recommend them to anyone.
DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. The owner Grace is some gross right winger living in the 1950s. She didn't respect my pronouns and mocked instead, saying she "doesn't care".
