We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks with Alfie and Skye. They are both well-trained and love to go for walks and play fetch. They were good in the car too, so we had several trips to the beach and country parks which we all enjoyed. Aileen made us feel very welcome in her spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped house. Even the dogs smelled super-fresh and were very clean!! We would be delighted to return for a repeat house-sit if the opportunity arises in future.
Shawna and Brian are a blast! Very down to earth people with amazing stories. I took care of Juniper for two weeks. She's a delight - sweet, energetic and always up for some playtime. I would dog/house sit for Shawna and Brian again anytime. I work from home and had internet connection issues one day, the neighbours jumped in to help in a heartbeat as well as Shawn and Brian on the phone for troubleshooting. Highly recommend for people that are active and energetic.
Jane’s home is beauty adorned. The kitchen has everything. There are restaurants galore and everything is accessible. And then, there’s Zoey, a dream of a dog. Welcoming, caring deeply, loving. The cats are nocturnal, and chill. Independent souls. Zoey likes walking. She’s loved by everyone in the neighborhood from the neighbors in other apartments to the Postwoman. The cats are elderly, indoor cats and very, very easy to care for (they pretty much take care of their own needs. Jane is a gem of a person, and we delighted in doing this sit! We’d love to sit again for the family.
We had a lovely time staying at Amanda, Will, and Alex’s. Their third floor penthouse apartment includes two balconies and the third is bigger with a wicker coach. Together they allow a panoramic view of lake Zürich. The living room is glass on two sides which brings the views right inside. The pets are great and quick to befriend you. Their dog cooper was an absolute delight, she’s very cuddly and loves to hangout, and gets overjoyed when it’s time for her dinner. Samus is just as cuddly and very affectionate, and would curl right up on my lap when prompted. Amanda and Will were incredibly helpful. Their six year old daughter is a bundle of positive energy and confidence. They provided clear and detailed instructions complete with transport info as well as activities that we could enjoy near the apartment. They live in a quiet safe neighborhood that was very easy to get to from the Zurich main station via a short train and bus that drops you 30 meters from the front door. We feel very fortunate to have had this experience and absolutely recommend house sitting for them if you are given the opportunity.
Amazing home, awesome dogs, beautiful neighborhood. My stay at Lauren & Paul’s was a real treat. Great communication/expectations. Kasper & Molly are sweet, sweet dogs and very well behaved. I just hope that Lauren and Paul had as enjoyable travels (I’m sure they did) as I did staying and caring for their dogs and home.
